Classic Chinese food. We really enjoyed our meal. Ate in restaurant as most orders were take out. Not the most up to date place, looks at bit "Original" but, the menu prices reflect that. Will be back. Friendly staff - met the owner's wife and her sister who were running then restaurant. read more

Just a quaint little place, great food! It's classic American Chinese takeout, very satisfying. The service is also typical for great Chinese takeout, that is to say not amazing, but typical. Dining room is still closed so it is takeout only, but I highly recommend! The lunch menu is especially a great value! read more

I love Chinese food and I tried this place on a whim. First impressions were interesting because when I walked in the door I was not impressed at all. I couldn't decide if the place was dirty or if it was just dark/dimly lit. I almost didn't order. I did however order the General Tsao's and I can certainly attest that it just wasn't very good. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but my first impression proved to be true. It just wasn't a good experience. read more

We love ordering from this local restaurant! The prices are so reasonable and the staff are so friendly. My favorite is the #91. It's healthy and delicious! It has huge shrimp, pieces of chicken, loaded with veggies, and a tasty brown sauce. We're so thankful Mayville has this restaurant! read more

Horrible , most times than not the food looks questionable , if you wanna get sick eat here

My step dad attempted to order me tofu and broccoli in sesame sauce (not specifically on the menu) and the woman behind the counter kept yelling, "no tofu, just chicken". They have tofu, they have broccoli, the have sesame sauce. What was the big deal? As someone who has worked in a professional commercial kitchen-most of those items would all be prepped ready to go. So, after thinking it was ordered right and brought home-they just gave us tofu and mixed veggie (in brown sauce NOT sesame sauce) with sesame seeds. Highly annoying. Along with the other reviews, looks to be like this place has no intention of keeping their customers happy. Maybe there was a language barrier, but seems like they just don't care. read more

I've eaten here a few times. Usually it's ok (pretty average "good-bad" Chinese food). However, last week I got a General Tso's chicken combo for dinner and it was bland and gloopy. The sauce was sickly sweet and devoid of any other flavors. The rice and egg roll were fine. Service is pretty good. The food comes out fast and everyone is friendly. The decor is kind of cool. The men's room is only kind of gross. Be careful what you order. Next time I'm in Mayville visiting friends I'll be sure to order something other than the General Tso's. read more

Walked in and sat down. Got the usual cold greeting. She acted put out since I was alone; as if the paltry sum my bill would amount to wouldn't be worth her time. Since I'm here, I'll mention something I forgot. Soup comes with lunch. EVERY day it is authentic CHICKEN NOODLE!!! Lol! Made with angel hair type noodles. I am in a Chinese restaurant, am I not? Come on!!! Lastly, as I was contemplating my less than friendly greeting, I noticed their 3 kids eating lunch, but actually they were running around making so much noise I walked out as I knew a relaxing lunch was impossible!! I won't be surprised when this is an empty storefront...which will be sad as their food is very good. read more

Great food and friendly service. Had the lo mein, General Tso's chicken, dumplings, and egg rolls, all of which were tasty.

Had lunch here today with my wife. Here in Mayville checking it out on-are 24th Anniversary. I had the happy family and my wife had the pepper steak. We both enjoy are meals. We are here for two more days. We will eat there again before we had back home to Michigan. Next time in Mayville I know were to go for lunch or dinner. read more

Very friendly first off. I'd like to give a higher review but the food is so-so. Considering it could be more authentic, it's not. It is your typical Americanized Chinese food. Interior of restaurant needs updating but clean. Delivery guy is awesome. read more

Nothing in the 'fridge, hungry, wanted something hot & not "drive-thru". We ordered sesame chicken & fried rice; it came with a pork egg roll also, as part of a combo platter. I added one veggie egg roll. They only make the veggie egg rolls in-house; all others are pre-made (I asked). Neither of the egg rolls were very good, but the sesame chicken was great! Big pcs. of white meat chicken & a perfectly balanced sweet sauce. We couldn't believe the amount of food! It was two meal's worth. The fried rice was also good. Service was fast, and all of this under $10. We'll order again. read more

Stopped here after our girls basketball game on our way back to Oshkosh. The food was AMAZING and the owners were super sweet!!! Wish they would open a restaurant closer to us, loved everything!!! They even treated us to dessert which was very yummy!!! read more

New China is a hidden gem in Mayville. They have lunch plate specials under $6 each every day of the week that include a generous entree, egg roll, and fried or white rice. Delicious food, good prices, and family friendly. The restaurant is operated by the owners, an extended family from China - we live near by and are regulars so we chat with them when we eat there. It may appear to have few customers when you walk in, but don't be fooled - they do a large amount of take out and delivery business. read more

I am not a fan of the 'strip mall' chinese restaurants, and prefer mom & pop ones, and this is one of the later of the two. I have eaten here a few times, and the food has been very good, and there is plenty of it. Keep up the good work ! read more
