We always get 2 different things and share them. His combo came with 2 eggs and really good sausage links. As well as the French toast. The French toast was light and good. The ground beef omelet was great. Beef had really good flavor and lots of beef and onions. The hash browns were good as well. Typical cafe style decor. Very clean. Our server Alex was very good. Are go to breakfast spot when visiting Colorado Springs. Stopped in on a Sunday morning with my wife. Parking ma be challenging, it's a popular spot. Didn't have to wait (good timing). Waiter was awesome, polite, friendly and attentive. Ordered coffee for the wife (I stuck with water to hydrate from night before). She ordered the breakfast burrito and I did the Mexican skillet. Everything was great! You go in and they tell you to sit wherever you'd like. A server came within a minute of me sitting down and was very pleasant! It's a chill spot. The food was on point! Always good food reasonably priced for the quality and amount. Has a senior and a children's menu area. Always nice servers who take an interest and if you are a frequent flyer, even remembering your name. Terrific chili rellenos made with cheddar not a mexican cheese. Can get turkey bacon if you wish for an upgrade in cost. Wish they did steel cut oats for oatmeal but not. Known for their green chili! Great french toast, but also sourdough, whole wheat, or rye with a good selection of jellies. Lots of omelet selections. My go-to for breakfast (but corned beef reuben is good, too). We came to Colorado Springs for a visit and this place was suggested. Although we did have decent service. I was a bit annoyed with the amount of gnats I had to keep swatting. I ordered the club stacker w/onion rings. My kids ate hamburgers, my man ate the tenders and fries. Everyone said their meal was okay so no complaints but no hype or exaggerating. I do appreciate the friendly staff! They were great my son got sick and regurgitated all over me, (mom life) but they were kind and accommodating and for this I gave the 3 stars. Came in with a large party (7 of us) and the staff were able to accommodate and were super helpful. They were super polite. The menu was MASSIVE and it was super difficult being able to narrow down what I wanted to eat. Everything sounded amazing! I ended up splitting the crepes meal and it was super filling even when it was split. I tried another friends country burrito and I might have to get that myself next time. It was delicious. We were staying at the great wolf lodge which is not known for their food so we decided to go out to omelets etc. for breakfast a couple days. Although it was pretty busy when we walked in, the staff was quick to find us a table and get food in front of the kids. I really appreciated the wait staffs attempt to please our young children while dining by providing extra whip cream for their smiley faced pancake orders. All our food was good and would be in alignment with what you'd find at a typical diner. Prices and portions were reasonable and appears to be more of a locals place with larger groups accumulating around a few of their tables. read more

We walked in on a busy Sunday morning and were seated right away. The location is nice and clean; however, I would say the seating arrangement was a little cramped. You could easily knock elbows with people behind you. We ordered the Mexican skillet, pancakes, side of scrambled eggs, and a kids cheeseburger with fries. Luckily, lunch menu is served all day. This is perfect for kids like my daughter, who is not too fond of breakfast foods. The Mexican skillet was good. The portion was generous and it had the right amount of spice. What would've made the dish perfect was a tortilla on the side! The steak omelette did not have steak at all. This was quite a disappointment, as it was more of a ground beef omelette. Also, the omelette tasted bland and the meat was unseasoned. The pancakes were nice and fluffy though, and had a hint of a vanilla flavor. The kid's burger and fries were tasty and a decent portion as well. Although the omelette did not impress us, everything else we ordered was good. It was a little unusual that our order items came out individually at all different times. We also did not see our server again after we received our meals to get any type of drink refills. The door reads 3 o'clock closing and they already had every grill broke down floor wet and ive worked in food service for years and we always kept one grill in operation until actual closing time. I love going out to breakfast! One thing Omelets Etc is doing well is: cleanliness and service! We had great interactions with staff! The greetings were warm and the coffee stayed refilled! It bumped it to a 4-star over a 3-star for sure. However, I don't love the open kitchen concept - it adds a bit of clutter noise. And while my crepe was delicious, the food experience was nothing to write home about. The hash browns were undercooked and probably came from frozen. The hollandaise sauce was really thick, but flavorful. I'm very glad I asked for it on the side. A plus for the French toast - the syrup came warm, albeit a little sticky on the outside as well...
