Stopped by on our way to Palmer lake. amazing little spot. Great food & service is impeccable. Our food came out very quickly and there's a nice outdoor area. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The food very good .

Came in with a large party (7 of us) and the staff were able to accommodate and were super helpful. They were super polite. The menu was MASSIVE and it was super difficult being able to narrow down what I wanted to eat. Everything sounded amazing! I ended up splitting the crepes meal and it was super filling even when it was split. I tried another friends country burrito and I might have to get that myself next time. It was delicious. The vibes inside were a typical diner. It wasn't anything crazy, but it was clean and put together and that's really all I can ask for. Can't wait to come back again soon!

We were staying at the great wolf lodge which is not known for their food so we decided to go out to omelets etc. for breakfast a couple days. Although it was pretty busy when we walked in, the staff was quick to find us a table and get food in front of the kids. I really appreciated the wait staffs attempt to please our young children while dining by providing extra whip cream for their smiley faced pancake orders. All our food was good and would be in alignment with what you'd find at a typical diner. Prices and portions were reasonable and appears to be more of a locals place with larger groups accumulating around a few of their tables.

We walked in on a busy Sunday morning and were seated right away. The location is nice and clean; however, I would say the seating arrangement was a little cramped. You could easily knock elbows with people behind you. We ordered the Mexican skillet, pancakes, side of scrambled eggs, and a kids cheeseburger with fries. Luckily, lunch menu is served all day. This is perfect for kids like my daughter, who is not too fond of breakfast foods. The Mexican skillet was good. The portion was generous and it had the right amount of spice. What would've made the dish perfect was a tortilla on the side! The steak omelette did not have steak at all. This was quite a disappointment, as it was more of a ground beef omelette. Also, the omelette tasted bland and the meat was unseasoned. The pancakes were nice and fluffy though, and had a hint of a vanilla flavor. The kid's burger and fries were tasty and a decent portion as well. Although the omelette did not impress us, everything else we ordered was good. It was a little unusual that our order items came out individually at all different times. We also did not see our server again after we received our meals to get any type of drink refills. So, service could be much improved.

    Busy morning, Christmas week.

Service just a little off today, but they were slammed with Christmas week shoppers. Enjoy having a senior menu selection. Lots of choice, and breakfast mainstays are always good, consistent. Downside: concrete floors, steel roof, and nothing to absorb sound. Very loud. Still, we're still coming back.

Chile R best in town! The meat is to crave for!

Best breakfast place in town! Worth the small wait to be sat! Must try if visiting!!!!!

Yes, the sausage links were 'legendary', but my Country Omelet w their homemade green chili was tops too! Best biscuits I've had in a long time. We ordered our hash browns crispy and they were perfect. We had fantastically attentive service! We will be back!

Snag some street parking in Downtown Colorado Springs across from Acacia Park and mozy on into the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives favorite, Skirted Heifer. I remember watching their episode 10 years ago. I didn't even live in Colorado back then! Their claim to fame is the iconic cheese "skirt" on their burgers. The way they melt the cheese, you get this funky crispy cheesy entity around the burger resembling a skirt. On this visit, I kept it simple with the Pueblo Farmer and fries. Pueblo Farmer ($12.25) // Grass-fed beef, pueblo chilies, pepper jack cheese, & homemade guacamole on our sesame seed bun. Beefy, spicy, creamy, a perfectly balanced burger. I didn't get it skirted (I honestly was so tired from driving that I forgot), but I wouldn't change much about this burger. Damn tasty! Burgers don't come with fries so I added those on. These are thin and salty. Even though the fries are extra, they have a little sauce bar with their ketchup, ranch, and Heifer sauce to accompany it. The sauces were all great and tasted homemade! Honestly, just wish there was more seating as it's usually crowded. They do have a few outdoor stools, but it does get chilly when the sun is down. If it's good enough for Guy (Fieri...duh) it's good enough for me!
