These guy's are a bunch of clowns. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They're doing business on Amazon under a number of names - the name of the particular "mine" I stepped on this time was "MichealElectronics2". I bought a "new" HP Envy Laptop in Januray 2025. The thing started to smell like it was burning and then died on me in September. I sent it in for warranty repairs. Their communication is horrible. They have a service contract that have you sign, which tries to waive all of their liability - espcially for data loss. Since I didn't (and now couldn't) back anything up on this laptop, I line-vetoed everything that waived their liability on the contract. After telling me the turnaround would be two week and having to practically beg them for a month for an update, I finally received the laptop back by Thanksgiving. ALL OF MY DATA WAS WIPED. The service sheet they sent with it said that they replaced my motherboard, thermal past and battery. When I reached out to them about my data loss, the tech told me to pound sand and that my drive was formatted. So, I purchased data recovery software, which found nothing but a bunch of titles of files it found in the OneDrive - useless. After getting Norbert and his manager Alton with the customer service team involved, they then tell me that the SSD was defective and they had to replace it. This company also does business on Amazon as GreatPriceTech (Expedite Shipping). Stay away from them. While the majority of the problem was caused by FedEx this company resues to help solve issues. I purchased a laptop and Dec 28th. I received notification FedEx was unable to deliver the item since I was not home to sign for it. When I got home from work I found the Fed Ex we missed you tag, call to reschedule, on the door. I called and Fed Ex changed their tune and said no you actually were home and you singed for the laptop. I can prove from my work time card, the missed delivery tag on the door, and my alarm system I never singed for my Laptop. Fed Ex provided a forged signature that does not look anything like mine. I had FedEx start an inquiry. They said the seller/shipper needed to file a claim to get my money back and so I could get a new laptop. I submitted all this proof to New Dream Inc/GreatPriceTech and they pretty much told me too bad you are out the money and the laptop. They won't take 3 minutes of their day to fill out a form so their customer can get what they paid for. Stay away from them read more

Scalpers! I attempted to buy a gpu from them but they attempted to charge me over 66% over MSRP for an RTX 3060! No one expects MSRP nowadays, but a 66% markup is crazy. Look elsewhere. read more

"NewDreamInc" is also "GreatPriceTech" on Amazon and is also "Coverall North America". d/b/aing multiple business, especially ones that are so different is probably why their products, customer service and reputation are going down hill fast. I highly recommend, not to do business with any of them. I should have done better research before buying a new laptop on Amazon through "GreatPriceTech". It has been 8 months now without a working computer for my work. I spent the money I had and I have been trying to use just my phone for work. They will not let me trade it out or get a refund to purchase another. They drag it out as long as possible, doing as little as possible, to try and fix the problem. I am on month 9 now with trying to fix my computer, a single step at a time. I am waiting for them to ship me a hard drive overnighted by UPS. But since they didn't put an address on the package, UPS is now shipping it back to sender. With the quality of their products and customer service I shouldn't be surprised they shipped a package without a customer name or address on it. The manufacturers warranty should be a year from purchase date, but I was given a brand new laptop with only 6 months worth of manufacturer warranty and was told by "NewDreamInc" it was up to me to contact the manufacturer with my purchase receipt and explain the situtation, to try and get my full 1 year warranty. I know they are taking it as slow and cheap as possible, to try and fix the Lemon of a supposedly brand new computer they sold me. Hoping they can get past the 1 year warranty date and just be done with it. Don't do what I did; you need to do thorough research on who and what products you are purchasing. But definitely stay away from "GreatPriceTech" products on Amazon and any other companies they are d/b/aing as. read more

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I needed a powerful PC for photography and intensive photo stacking for astrophotograhy and all the new AI products like TopazLabs. Indirectly, I ordered a tower that met all my needs. This place will get a 5 star rating when they ship the computers with a user guide and a direct support phone number. I do recommend their product. Pro: The Velztorm line is custom assembled at this location in OR from parts received from various sources. One can custom build a dream machine by going to their website velztorm.com. I needed some direct customer service and received a call back the next working day from Alton. He was very patient and understood my need. Fortunately, I had figured out the resolution on my own. Con: The computer arrived with no quick setup guide nor referral to a digital guide. A few off pieces were in the box that I did not at first intuitively (as a not tech) did not know what to do with. As I purchased through a marketplace, the middleman had no tech support. By the time I got off the marketplace support chat, the product seller/shipper was closed. Eventually, I got it all sorted and am up and running. The company does not advertise, so I found them through a marketplace. I advised the employee/tech support, that Making a setup guide for website, YouTube or print would go a long way to support their customer base and grow a loyal following. Unlike other reviewers, I do not begrudge a seller from having a markup. It is up to the buyer to compare prices from various sources. I am a student and I gave them my computer a month before my school starts so I'd be able to have it fixed by the time I start classes. There were no email confirmations and no check ins regarding the status of my device. This is worrying. I called and the person refused to help without my ticket number. Because I dropped it off in person, there wasn't a digital footprint that could lead me to find it. I got a paper, but was not instructed that it had a ticket number on it or that I'd have to know it before checking in on my device. Ultimately I'm very dissatisfied with my care. I would give negative stars to this company. I bought a Dell laptop from them through Amazon. After 7 months, the mother board went out. I tried to call them an hour after they were supposedly open --message said that they were closed. I tried back about an hour later and had to leave a message. They returned my call 25 hours later! By that time, I had taken my laptop to a reputable computer repair shop in the area who had it diagnosed within an hour of me dropping it off--bad mother board. I've had many laptops and computers and have never had one die --the one that I am writing this on is 10 years old. There was no way I was sending my laptop in for New Dream's "warranty repair" with that kind customer service (24 hours to return a phone call--they said that they return calls when they "have time"--must have A LOT of complaints . They sell cra**y products and have customer service to match. Chris and Matthew were especially UNhelpful. Amazon should not be selling through this company. They are a scam! read more

New Dream is either a parent or sister company of Michael Electronic 2 (ME2) so since there is no listing for ME2 on Yelp, I want to give kudos to the team here too. After being let down by another computer manufacturer (Lenovo laptop battery was defective DOA new in box & sealed), I went on a limb and tried Michael Electronic 2 as they were advertising drool-worthy laptop specs on an Asus gaming laptop in which I heavily trust Asus. There was a little bit of a hiccup, but this is where the 5 stars rating comes into play. There will always generally run a chance of a hiccup with any transaction with any company anywhere. Recovering from that hiccup is what makes a good company great. For all I know, me personally, I could've been the impatient person that caused the hiccup which had to do with stock and availability. They may have already had my product pulled. But anyway, Matt with ME2 took immediate ownership and command of the situation and not only did he make sure everything was good to go, ME2 also sent me my laptop via 2nd Day Air shipping (yes I noticed!). Some authorized resellers open their product first. ME2 left my Asus laptop box security tape sealed and intact. YES, I would gladly do business with ME2 again! I will be hunting down RAM sticks pretty soon actually :D read more
