The problems were temporarily solved, but usually never on the first shot. There was always a follow up visit or a missing part that the servicemen did not have on hand. Since we're not from the area, we just kept going back to the same repair company because we didn't know any better. After trying to get said Norwalk appliance repair company on the phone, no one picked up when they were supposed to have been opened at 8 am. Then after a voicemail and finally a third attempt at eventually speaking to someone, my wife was on hold for 20 minutes. When she spoke with customer service, they said they couldn't help us based on her description of what was wrong with our dryer. When she asked for a referral, she was told to try Google. I don't want to name the other company, but like they said, you could probably Google it. That was the last straw. My wife called Dobson based on a recommendation from another service provider after a bit of a wild goose chase trying to find someone who could help us. They were available to come the next day, even as it was a 2-person job, since the washer and dryer were stacked. They showed up when they said they would. They wore masks the whole time. They diagnosed the problem. They pointed out what was wrong. They fixed issues that the prior service men neglected to fix the first time, in order to ensure our washer and dryer ran smoother. Apparently, the dryer vent wasn't hooked up properly, which may or may not have been the prior service providers fault, but Dobson made the fix nonetheless. They cleaned our ducts, as we asked. Then they fixed the dryer and tested and then re-tested to ensure it worked properly. We highly recommend Dobson for reliable service that solve problems the first time around.

UPDATED REVIEW 2026: Between 2023 and 2026, Superior HVAC and Tank Removal performed service on our…read moreHVAC system (that they originally installed) at least 5 separate times. These visits were all related to the same issue - the system did not function properly to maintain the desired air temperature, particularly in the summer months. As the HVAC system installed was still malfunctioning, and we learned that the warranty was held by Bosch and did not require us to use our original installer, in May 2026 we decided to call another company we located due to their familiarity with Bosch systems to come look at the system. This new company was so appalled by the mess of the state of the wiring of the system and our prior experiences trying to have this issue resolved through Superior HVAC and Tank Removal that they did not bill us for their initial diagnostic visits. This new team immediately determined that the main power board on the inverter was fried and ordered a replacement part, which they recently installed. The system has been working perfectly ever since. What we're left wondering is why it took another company 45 minutes to immediately diagnose and correct (what seemed to them to be) a clear malfunctioning part in our Bosch inverter, when Superior HVAC and Tank Removal not only installed the system, but then also visited our property no fewer than 5 times (and we have been billed for 4/5 of those visits) and and failed to diagnose nor fix the correct issue? We do not wish to continue business with Superior HVAC and Tank Removal in the future given these experiences.
