It has become extremely difficult to schedule appointments with Dr. Hinkle or Dr. Boyle. After waiting weeks, we've arrived for appointments only to be told they were canceled without notice. Additionally, the front office staff is often rude and make simple questions feel like an inconvenience. The newer staff responsible for fitting glasses also do not seem to take the time to properly ensure a correct fit. This has been very disappointing given the level of care we experienced in the past. Unfortunately, today was the tipping point and we will not be back.

He took the time to listen to my concerns and provide thoughtful advice after assuring me that everything was ok (reading my test results). Compared to other medical offices, where check-ups feel routine, meeting with Dr. Sutaria for an eye appointment seems like visiting a close friend, due to how inviting her personality is! A couple of times, when my eye was irritated, she would create space in her schedule to check me up immediately, even if it involved a very tight schedule. Additionally, due to certain factors related to my eyes, I had much trouble, in the beginning, fitting Ortho K lenses. Still, Dr. Sutaria persisted and kept accommodating until the treatment was very comfortable for me, not settling for anything less than the best for me. My brother also received his own specialized treatment, which had really amazing results. Overall, the experience my family and I have at Insight Eye Optique is phenomenal (11/10!), and I definitely would recommend Dr. Sutaria to everyone, whether it's for routine annual eye-check ups, or specialized programs (such as the Ortho K lenses and myopia management)!

So of course I did my annual eye exam in 2019 with OptimEYES and received the same treatment I did the year before. Who knew an eye exam could be easy and flawless? I also needed new glass frames and Antonio swooped in and helped me pick out a pair that was stylish and comfortable. His patience and explanation of frames made the process stress-free. He took his time to examine my eyes and did some exams that other doctors had never done (such as taking a picture of the inside of my retina to see the back of the eye and its nerve, for example). It also had been super easy to get an appointment quickly as a new patient. The office staff is super helpful and very friendly. The optician was helpful with showing me all the different glasses they have in their shop, and none of the staff members were pushy about me having to buy the glasses there. They have a big selection of different styles. If you can't find what you're looking for, they offer to look things up for you or they give you the prescription so you can buy the glasses and/or contacts somewhere else. Great doctor, great office! So happy I have found them.

Decided to give it a try because everyone has different experiences. Overall, I would say that my family had a great experience with our eye exams, very thorough and efficient. I would rate the doctor as 5 star. The front desk people are not great and maybe I just also had bad luck with them. Our first time as a family here and found that I had to make call multiple times to get a call back, they do not respond to text message (though they direct you to use text) and seemed unfamiliar with insurance/unwilling to figure it out. She listens and is personable with amazing bedside manner. The rating is not for her service, credentials, or expertise but for her front staff. These aspirational IG influencing ladies, are always rude and rushing. Two times I have had to tell her staff that I do not use medical insurance for any visits and had been billed once through my medical coverage and after countless calls, and emails, I was finally refunded my "out of pocket costs" for my annual visit. Not one apology offered for the indignant attitude given by the staff or for the erroneous mistake of billing the wrong insurance. After even walking the younger woman through my insurance copays and also providing their phone number to verify she still sent the bill to my insurance and charged me. Today the same scenario with a different aspirational influencer. Less resistance though and actually looked up my insurance and coverage but also I refused to provide my medical insurance. I'm sure had I provided it she would have taken the same lazy route as the other lady a year and a half ago - and billed the wrong insurance again.
