It was bad enough that I'd gone to the ER the day before and they told me I needed to follow up with an ophthalmologist. Dr. Shah was able to see me promptly and reassured me that I would recover quickly using the eye drops he prescribed. Sure enough I felt relief the next day and the infection cleared in just a few days. Dr. Shah provided excellent care on short notice at a time when I really needed it. Dr. Abrams took his time and carefully examined every part of my eye to figure out exactly what was going on. It turned out I somehow had a tiny sliver of glass lodged under my eyelid, which had worked its way out, but he was incredibly thorough in making sure everything was okay and that there was no damage. What I appreciate most about Dr. Abrams is his great bedside manner. He's calm, patient, and truly makes you feel cared for. The entire office runs smoothly as well -- quick, efficient, and professional. It's rare to find a doctor who combines skill, compassion, and efficiency, but Dr. Abrams does exactly that. The only thing I disliked is that they wouldn't take another optometrist's diagnosis of my uncle's cataracts. We essentially did all the tests over again after Dr Roter had performed them last month. My uncle had to spend another $90 just to be told the same thing. After seeing two employees, we finally got to see the doctor an hour later. The office is very warm so if you're like me take some ice. I would also suggest taking some ice water since our appointment ended an hour and 45 minutes later. By that point, I couldn't even make the next appointment because my back was hurting so bad. Oh well! By the time we left at 4:23 p.m., all of the people that were sitting in the waiting room had already left. The doctor was great though. He was very nice to my uncle.

It took me a while to finally call and get an appointment for today, January 25 2023. Instead of it just being an appointment to address the obvious, we did all the eye sight checking stuff and found out my prescription for my glasses had changed. But after all that, Dr. Kelly took a look at everything and it's just a burst blood vessel that is slowly but surely healing. I received my new prescription and was on my merry way.
