I give one star because zero stars isn't an option. Brought my iPad mini in for a screen repair and they ruined it. They are a bunch of double talking liars. No one will give you a straight answer. After my glass was reapaired I paid $100 as agreed and I left. My home button was sticking so I brought it back. Big mistake. After 2 months of lies and not knowing what happened or where my iPad was, they finally found it and told me the repair was$350. I declined and took my iPad to another repair shop. Miraculously this reputable repair tech found the simple repair and for a flat $50 fee I now have my working iPad mini back. Do not trust these unscrupulous crooks. Went into gadget tech today to get my phone fixed! Placed was PACKED! I was guessing around 2 hours to fix my phone. 10 minutes passed and Daniel got to me, I explained my problems and asked if there was anyway possible to get it fixed by tomorrow. He sounded confident and said how about I get you done in about an hour my jaw dropped and I was relieved as I have a concert to attend tonight and without a phone my night would be ruined. I had a terrible experience at this place. My phone had a small crack on the screen that needed to be replaced. So I made a time to go in and drop off my Phone. I paid for the higher quality glass and screen protector. They told me to come back between 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. So I had my mom go pick it up, she got there and they all started talking like they didn't know about my phone. They said they didn't remember there being a phone there, so did they try to steal my phone? Idk that's pretty far fetched. Anyways they told my mom it would take another two hours, even though she got there at 4:30pm, 30 minutes after they said it would be done. So my mom left and planned on coming back. They never called my mom to say it was done. My mom knew the store was closing soon so she went back hoping for it to be done. And it was done but they didn't care to call my mom to let her know, they were ready to close the store with my phone in it. I finally got my phone back and all was good for about 3 days, until my screen went black and didn't come back on. I took it BACK for them to fix it. Something that should have taken less than a hour took the whole day. I got my phone back and for some reason I want to say this is not the same screen I paid for the first time, I paid for the higher quality and this one now just feels cheap. The home button feels like it's about to fall off it's so wobbly. And the worst part is there is STILL A PROBLEM WITH MY PHONE! There is a spot on my phone that won't pick up my finger, and it's extremely annoying. I don't want to go back because I'm scared of what will happen to my phone next. I took an old computer in to have them look at it. They were absolutely certain they could fix it so I paid the $50 to have them look at it. Nearly 2 months later NOTHING is done. The "expert" tech they told me about is never there when I show up to check on the status. After many complaints they tell me he spent a lot of time trying to fix it and could not. The seal on the computer had not even been broke. Lies. I asked when the expert would be in so I could talk to him in person. "Sometime this week but we never know." Unfortunately, I would not recommend this repair shop to anybody. They were overpriced and the customer service was seriously lacking. I was promised my phone (which needed camera and camera glass repair) in 1 hour. It turned out taking 4 and a half hours until I had my phone back. To make matters worse, I called when it had been almost 2 hours and was told my phone was almost done, give them 30 more mins and come pick it up. It still wasn't ready when I got there and I was told it would take at least a hour longer. They did offer to drop my phone off to me as I had already made the trip. But that bit of goodwill did not go very far. Cherry on top, the work is shoddy. Conclusion, yes my camera works clearly and I have new glass, but I would not return and I would suggest you save yourself the hassle. read more

Had my daughters 5s fixed by tom took him just under 30 min to complete. Phone looks brand new, tom was very professional. Just the top glass was cracked only 29.99$. Short version: Gadget Tech held onto my phone for 7 days and did not communicate with me at all while the other phone repair shop fixed my phone in 30 minutes. Long version: I cracked my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge right through the glass and into the LCD. Sucks but lucky me, Gadget Tech said they'd offer me a price match with the lowest quote I found. They did have great reviews so there was no reason to doubt anything. (Drop off day) Location was a little wishy washy... literally inside a car wash office lol... but everything still seemed peachy. I dropped my phone off, had a pleasant conversation with the people working, paid $200 and left. I dropped my phone off on Thursday and they tell me they'd have it back to me anytime between Friday and Sunday. Totally reasonable. **Pay attention, cause here is where the whole situation turns into a wash. (3 days since drop off day) I watched paint dry as the week goes by because what else do I do without my S6. Anyways, Sunday rolls around. No updates, no calls, nothing from Gadget Tech at this point in time. I CALL THEM an hour before they're about to close. I ask about my precious phone. Luke gives me a bit of a runaround consisting of the following: 1.) Parts for the device are difficult to find 2.) The part that they had ordered broke the first time they tried to put it on (which I think was a lie) 3.) They cannot get a new part because of the labor day weekend 4.) They can't call each customer to update them on every little thing Anyways, I'm told by Luke that they will get the parts in by Tuesday and have it fixed by Wednesday AT THE LATEST. I didn't like his tone. He was not apologetic, more so condescending for me not realizing that securing Samsung S6 parts is a Herculean task. I ask for a discount for the inconvenient delay, he tells me the best he can do is the generous offer of tempered glass that I could buy for $10 on Amazon. He kindly reminds me that they did offer me price match after all, and I should be thankful that they are open on Sundays. Hold on there Luke. Price matching and keeping your store open 7 days are first and foremost to the benefit of your business, not a favor to me, so don't throw either of those in your customers' face. Second of all, offering price match and 7 days a week service should not hinder your capacity to get me my phone back on time. If anything, more days open should equal a faster turnaround. (6 days since drop off day) Wednesday rolls around. NO UPDATES, NO CALLS, NOT EVEN A PEEP FROM GADGET TECH AT THIS POINT IN TIME. I call them up rightfully irate. The person on the phone this time is apologetic and embarrassed about the situation. I'm informed that the part needed for my phone still hasn't arrived and I'm given no real estimate as to when I'll get me phone back. Depressing. (7 days since drop off day) I call Luke again Thursday morning he tells me that the part IS STILL being shipped. Still no discount for the horrid customer service but lots of excuses, he's more apologetic by now. Apparently this unicorn of a part is being shipped from Mars. I'm out of patience. I come in, get my $200 back ASAP, which is the only thing that this business did with any expediency. He told me the phone hadn't been touched/opened at all which totally contradicted with him telling me earlier that the first time they tried to put the part on, the part broke. Now, I'm a reasonable person. I get that it's a complex phone with many intricacies and apparently parts so hard to find that Liam Neeson found his daughter in less time. I would have been understanding had I been given accurate time estimates. I would have been understanding if I was even called or texted ONCE by Gadget Tech to keep me updated on the situation. I would have really liked to hear from them when they couldn't meet the deadline on Sunday, and also when they again couldn't meet the deadline by Wednesday. I got absolutely nothing. Instead, I was made to feel like a nagging girlfriend for a whole week, which is not a good position to put your customers in. I would come here to get your phone fixed maybe if you have a 1st gen Nokia, an iPhone negative one, or a cuneiform tablet from Ancient Egypt. Otherwise...AVOID THIS PLACE AND THEIR SHENANIGANS. I had a cracked back glass on my Samsung S8. Spoke to someone on Yelp message that quoted me $59 to replace. He said he had the part in stock and he could replace it that day. I'm on a time crunch and needed it for ASAP because I was going out of town and every store said they had to order the part. I get to the store and the guy says that's for after market parts and if I wanted original it would be $20 more and I'd have to order the part. Logan, the guy working at the time, assured me it would be in by Tuesday in time for my trip. I call today and now the part won't be in till Thursday. I explained I would be out of town and the only reason I agreed to ordering with them was because I was assured the part would be in on time. I was quoted $50 replacement with original parts by a store in chino which I would have went with if I knew I had to wait. I spoke to someone who told me that I couldn't receive a refund until the manager, Logan, came back into the office on Friday. Who the hell runs a business like this? There was no accountability or customer service offered. It was basically a "I can't do anything so oh well." This business is ran very poorly with no regard to the customer. Buyer beware! read more

I came in to see if they could fix my iPhone 5s and they did an amazing job! I was greeted nicely and thy checked me in very fast. I didn't have to pay until after the job was done either. I liked that they had the option of generic and an original Apple screen because I know most places don't even carry the original parts and screens. They were kind enough to bend out my frame for me as well so my screen fit better. (Although it was my fault for dropping my phone so many times) I also was offered a tempered glass screen protector which was thicker and cheaper than the ones at Best Buy:) read more

Even though it was crowded and they were busy they managed to fit me in and fix the screen on my iPhone. Found them on Craigslist initially and was directed to this yelp page, which made me feel really comfortable taking my new iPhone 7 into them. I cracked my screen :( found their location quickly, cute little shop attached to the car wash. Logan helped me right away, honored the yelp check in discount and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I thought I'd need to leave and come back in an hour or so, this was a great surprise!
