I think the pool was done within three weeks. (We were working around some unexpected rain.) on a side note I'd ask the crew if they like working for Adams pools. Customer Service: Isidro was very friendly and easy to work with! When I first contacted him for an estimate he responded right away and was able to come out to the house very quickly. He and his staff took some measurements and we talked about what work I wanted done. He gave me a reasonable estimate later that day, which I felt was a good price compared to a few other estimates I got. Isidro came out a second time for a free consultation. I had a hard time envisioning the design over the phone, so he offered to come out and show me in person. Again, he promptly came to my house with spray markers and helped me visualize the work he was going to do. He has a good design sense and suggested adding the sand pathway, which I hadn't even thought of, but loved when he brought it up. Isidro also beautifully incorporated some existing garden objects that was left by the previous owner (nice big rocks and other garden decor). As I could not be at the home during his work, he sent me pictures and videos of his progress throughout the week and constantly checked in to make sure I liked it. I hired "JC Quinonez" for a house project back in 3/2019. Juan came with another contractor who came to my house to provide an estimate on concrete. The shady thing about this situation, Juan decided to go behind his friend back to offer a better deal for concrete service. I expressed that I had some drywall problems that needed to be fix first. On his vehicle, Juan advertise he is certified for a lot of things. Of course, Juan seemed like a trustworthy contractor. I offered to pay him half up front when he comes to repair my drywall. It was weird, on the first day Juan brought a teenager to assist him with the project. Long story short, Juan had no experience with using drywall mud. His work kept cracking. He claims it was the weather condition. The total work was suppose to be $3,000. I paid Juan a $1,500 deposit. When I noticed that Juan does not have experience in drywall, I questioned if he had done anything that he is advertising. Juan was offended and abandoned the job. Juan never refunded my deposit nor came back to finish his work. I had to hire another contractor to fix Juan damage. I filed a claim against "JC Quinonez" and found out he was not a license contractor. Recently, I saw that Juan had changed his business name to "JC Quinones Concrete stamp & Landscaping." Honestly, this party has change his name quiet a bit from the time he started business. I assume he has done some bad business in the community. I don't even know if the license he is listing is legit or the concrete photos that Juan is posting is actual his work. However, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If you decide to use "JC Quinones and Landscaping" service, I suggest, have Juan provide you a receipt that disclose his actual business location and "DO NOT PAY" him anything upfront until the work is completed.

I have signed a contract with Frank M. to build a Gunite pool in my backyard. I hired Frank M. based solely on rave reviews from other customers on Yelp. The work commenced mid-January and immediately went off-track: the engineering plans were not followed; my personal property was stolen by one of the subcontractors; my pool deck finish was ruined by the plastering subcontractor; the plaster got mottled, my pool equipment was downgraded without my consent. In couple of months, all decking had countless cracks. And to top it off, Frank M. has abandoned my project as soon as he collected the last payment, leaving me with unfinished pool and property damage. Almost two months I've spent pleading with this master builder to finish the work, every time with the same result: On the scheduled days (03/03, 03/07, 03/15, 03/31, 04/08), I would take time off work and wait a whole day for the contractor or his workers to show up. However, nobody ever showed up, and no one would contact me to reschedule or to apologize for not showing up, and Frank M. would not return my phone calls or text messages for days. Things were complicated by the fact that Frank M. was holding my paperwork hostage: my permit and the engineering plans for the pool. Definitely going to sue.
