Turned out it was worse than it looked in the photos, so he had to drain water out and they did some scraping while waiting for the water to drain. 2 days later they were back, Lorenzo messaged me that he was on his way and 3 hours later our tile looks brand new. Great experience with Lorenzo. I called him last week and really wanted my pool tiles cleaned because I was having a photographer come over this week for taking photos for my house listing. Lorenzo initially said it would take a couple weeks to come over (which is what other companies said also) when I explained to him the situation he was able to make time this week. I sent some pics of the tiles and gave him the pool circumferance and he was able to give me a quote on the phone. Him and his co-worker came over yesterday afternoon in the 100+ temp and worked for about 3 hours. I was very pleased with the attention to detail, the cleanliness of the work space after they left and the beautiful way the tile turned out. I can not recommend this business. I sent numerous texts, pictures of our pool and tiles. It took days for each response. I finally got a quote. I said OK and when could it be done. I was told I would get a date in the morning. That was a week ago. They must not need my business. I am a total do-it-your-selfer. I will take on any project and feel that I can do a better job than most. Sometimes I need to stop and realize that it would be smart to ask for help. This was the case as I started to clean 15yrs of calcium deposits of off my tile and rock work around my pool in Elk Grove. I looked into all the different methods to complete the job and glass bead blasting seemd to be the best option. I found supplies at Harbor Freight that would be affordable. But I still was uncertain given the differences in project details I would find between different sources. So I finally looked into local services that could to the work for me. Renova Pool Tile Cleaning and their leader Lorenzo was the first company to call me back and he gave me a great price that made the cost of investing in my own equipment less attractive. He came within three days and I was impressed. He knows his stuff. I respect business people that strive to do their work at the highest skill level. In the case of Lorenzo, he has studied the engineering and science of blast cleaning. He has designed special sets of equipment to blast at a constant force which delivers the maximum cleaning force with the least risk of damaging the surface being cleaned. I got a little geeked out on the precision of his service equipment. Overall, he and the one partner who worked on my pool completed the project about five time or more faster than I would have done it and it was done better than I probably could have done it. The glass blast materials can be reused. But he said that the best results are done with new glass beads. At the end of the project, he cleaned up all the beads and disposed of them in my waste can. This impressed me as well because it was clear he was practicing what he was teaching. I will recommend them to all my neighbors. read more

Loved that they showed up on time and did an awesome job on my pool tiles. Very efficient and thorough. After bidding the job originally through photos, reduced the price when he saw it wasn't a big a job as he originally thought and gave me a nice discount. My pool sweep sprung a leak, and he offered to pay for fixing it just so I didn't think they broke it. I highly recommend them and will be using them to do grout work on my pool. read more

Lorenzo and his team did an excellent job cleaning 20 years of lime scale from our pool tiles, replacing the plastic strip where the tile meets the decking and replacing a few missing tiles from skimmer intake. His team was very well organized, professional, quiet and they took the time needed to properly refresh and seal the tiles. There was a lot of manual labor involved and it was worth the price. It's one of the few back yard projects that will quickly be obviously worth what you pay for it, and immediately improve your quality of life. Our pool tiles were in desperate need of a cleaning and we had a half dozen missing tiles around the spa. The underlying issues was the loose flagstone on top of spillway. It seemed like a decent size project to repair. When I called Lorenzo, not only did he pick up on my first call but he patiently listened to me explain what we needed done. He gave me the choice of setting up a time for him to meet me for an estimate or asked if I would rather text him photos of the pool and closeups of the spa so he could assess the repair. I opted with just sending him he pics and he provided me with a quote instantly and explained the entire cleaning process and what I should expect.He and his crew was able to come out to do the repair and the tile cleaning all in one day. He did an impecable job on both the tile cleaning and repair. As far as price is concerned, I am super impressed that he ended up charging us much less than what I thought was alreadyreasonable price.
