Mike was really helpful with giving a breakdown of the maintenance that was provided for my car. I got a timing chain kit replacement and an APR stage 1 tune for my 2013 GLI. He was very knowledgeable and patient with the questions I had regarding maintaining longevity wise and gave recommendations to do so. Called them when they opened on a Saturday to see if I could bring my car in for servicing. The gentleman who took my call said the system was down and that he would call me back. I waited around but I never got a call. Not the end of the world, so I tried again the following Monday to make an appointment. I was told that they were booked solid for over an ENTIRE MONTH...and couldn't even look at my car until after June 17th. Very disappointing because it seems like they are well-reviewed and are close by. They're probably a great bet if you are planning on tuning and have no timetable, but I'll have to look elsewhere for my servicing needs. read more

I bought my 08 GTI brand new and once my warranty expired I was informed of the great service that NGP does. Man were they right. I've had my coils installed, timing belt changed, wheels and tires installed, brakes, APR, etc. and I have never been disappointed in the quality of work and ALL of the guys there are knowledgeable, friendly, kind, they take the time out to explain things to you, and they don't rush you off the phone. If it wasn't for NGP I don't think I would own a VW quite honestly. NGP you guys just need to get two new sofas for the waiting area. :) read more

By far, the best Audi performance shop in Northern VA, which also makes them the best place for taking your Audi for routine service as well. Their staff is very knowledgeable and will keep your Audi running at its very best. I've taken by A4 and Q5 here for years, and upon my great experience, my family has trusted their RS4, A4, and A3 with them as well, even though that meant a long drive from MD. The shop is clean and the staff will go out of their way to make sure everything is done right. Prices are better than the dealer, making them ideal for taking care of your out-of-warranty ride. My only complaint is that it can often be difficult to get an appointment (something you want right away when something goes wrong) but that is just an artifact of them being so popular with all the Audi and VW owners in the area. Took my GLI for a ECU reflash last week. Everyone was very profesional! The process was fast.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Came in initially to get some prices for fixing a hack job of a custom exhaust I had made for my a4 at an exhaust shop which I won't mention, and ended up deciding to go ahead with a brand new 034 3" system which is nothing short of a piece of art. The whole process was easy and Benji and crew gave me plenty of insight for what to do next and even helped temporarily fix up what I had since my 034 system had to be ordered! read more

Great, Trustworthy place to bring my Audi. Although I only speak to Benji and Mike at the front desk, they are extremely helpful and informative on what is going on with an APR tune I just got on my A8. Went back today to get the Dongle and experienced issues connected it with my dads phone once I returned home. This people really help you out... yesterday I was having problem finding a performance clucth disc ONLY, for my 01 VW GTI 1.8t... I call several places for prices and options but no body could help me out and the prices were ridiculous... no body want to sell me just the disc by it self, they want me to buy the whole kit, Why if my pressure plate and flywheel are good??? Call yesterday and talk to some one named Amond, he gave me different options and advises, call me back a couple of time when he told me,, and I didnt have to wait hours for he call me back.. I'm a big NGP fan. I've been going to them to have my VW's worked on for a couple of years now. They do good work and run an honest business. Most recently, VW of Annapolis told me at my last warranty check (40k service) that my brakes would need to be replaced soon. Brought my car in to have the brakes replaced at NGP. Turns out the brakes were in great shape and did not need to be replaced for a while. Honest, great customer service, great team. Highly recommend! read more

They Installed some of their house brand NGP coilovers and put in a new RSR clutch on my MKVI GTI. These guys created the definition of professional. Their work was fast and done well. I even had a faulty tire pressure sensor they fixed on the house because they treat their customers cars like their own (I've been to 3 other tune shops and they couldn't even fix that). If you're looking to upgrade any German made vehicle or just want simple repair, these guys better be your first option. The 5 stars speak form themselves. These guys are the best at what that do. I've never been a fan of boost gauges but this P3 gauge on my B8.5 S4 is soooooo sick. I took my Audi A4 3.0 in for a timing belt change. From my conversation with the mechanic, it was quite evident they hadn't done too many timing belt changes on a 3.0, but given the positive reviews on the web, I didn't think twice about it. A day after I picked up my car, the engine started making a lot of noise so I had to take the car back to the dealer again (another unpaid day off!!!). Turns out the power steering pump stopped working! Coincidence? I don't know, but it cost me another $500. Will I ever go back?! NEVER! read more

Great place. But they charge a $115 labor cost for flashing ECU... Which doesn't make sense at all considering how easy flashing ECU is and how quick it can be done. Many other APR dealers don't charge labor for flashing ECU, they are just not in this area. read more
