They helped install an after market bumper front and back along with and led bar light and aux lights connected to upfitter switches in the cab. They also installed my 37" tires. On top of a that they modified my aftermarket front bumper to accommodate a winch. Everything has worked perfect since installed in 2016! read more

Went to this shop in 03 to get my 4Runner set up for Overland Expo East. ARB Bumper Winch Dobson Lift Tires A few other things I can't remember at this time (2025) needless to say the guys at the shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As a first timer getting into the overland/off-road community I did my research before hand, and thought I needed so much done to the truck to be able to manage the great outdoors. I was wrong. The guys set me up to ease my way in and enjoy my truck with the exact equipment to do just that. They didn't sell me anything I didn't need, nor suggest the top of the line products to break the bank. A "newbie " such as myself at the time walking in they could have done so much extra BUT didn't. They took the time to show me different options and explain the different products they suggested and why. I felt very comfortable trusting my truck and yes, my money with them because they made the experience so easy. After all was said and done I came to pick up the truck and thought I'd just pay and be on my way. Again I was wrong. They brought me in to reveal the final build and walked me around showing me what I purchased and how it will perform and aid me in my camping experiences moving forward. They showed me how to properly and safely use the winch and showed me the best ways to hook up should I get stuck or find myself in a bad situation. I have my next appointment with them this coming Monday to go a bit bigger on the lift, do some maintenance with regards to fluids and electrical issues I encountered over the years (had a walkie talkie system installed elsewhere to be able to talk to my spotter and others I was with on the trails) that had given me some problems with regards to battery issues. Needless to say I am excited to get my truck back in the shop for the next big build. I would strongly recommend Nova Speed Shop to anyone looking for a great shop who has the customers interest in mind, don't sell you on stuff you don't and won't need, and who get the job done right the first time. 10/10 hands down. NOVA speed shop has been my go to for all my and my family's cars. This has included a m3, gs300, gr86, Mini Cooper, 240sx, and x2. They've done everything from retrofitting air conditioning to basic wheel and tire mounting. Every time the entire staff is very communicative and realistic about when the car will be complete. They also make sure I'm informed about what is going on with the vehicle and the best options if problems do arise, which some time they do - these are 25-30 year old cars sometimes. I truly hate to do this, but am not sure what happened??? However, I visited their shop to inquire about a full bolt on and tune to my Infiniti Q60. Phil was a great guy and said he would contact the supplier of the parts. He would have someone call me that evening or the next morning to give me a quote. This was on a Monday. Friday rolls around and I give them a call. Phil answers and apparently they had my phone number wrong but email correct. He said he would contact me Monday. Nothing. This is Sunday and no response. Two weeks with no communication. I intended to give them, initially, about $10k of work and then the next step was aftermarket turbos, another $10k plus aero and body work. If communication is that bad, I am glad I found out before they started the work.... read more

The only reason I am giving 5 stars is because I cant give 10. Phil, Aria and Company run a tight ship. They took my 2001 SS Camaro that was in complete parts and put it all back together. Put in new motor, installed heads, cam and exhaust. When i went to pick the car up, Nirvanas "I dont have a gun" was blarring throughout the shop. I said, this is my kind of shop. Took my 208K mile 2000 Camaro Z28 to Nova Speed Shop for a problem that several other mechanics could not properly diagnose and has been lingering since 2008. When I dropped off my vehicle, the technician took a lot of time to discuss the history of my vehicle and recommended different solutions he felt would solve the problem. He genuinely seemed to care about my issues and did not steer me in other directions that were not needed. After I picked up my Camaro, it ran better than it has in many years. Although it took a little time to get an appointment, it was well worth the wait. The total cost of the repairs was close to the original estimate and I am satisfied with their work.
