I have been using this cleaner for years. I've never had a problem. Everything is clean and pressed. Prices have gone up which is why they get 4 stars, not 5. prices are listed behind the counter. One of the worst dry cleaner I have ever used!! Took a white shirt in to be cleaned with a small stain on the color, when got the shirt back it had large yellow stains all down the left front and the left leave. When I took it back to show them and ask how this had happened they knew straight away so obviously they saw the stains when I first pick the shirt up but they placed my other black shirt I also had cleaned over the top of the of the white one so I would not notice it. I was fuming when I went to wear the shirt the following day!! I took it back they said it was not their fault so basically blamed me for the stains!! Been going for years and for most part like them. Since covid, prices vary every time you go in. Don't have any pricing hung in store. Had 2 dresses hemmed at separate times. First one they charged $40, almost a year later they TRIED charging me $74!! Owners were away so was another young gentleman filling in (son?). I said "what!! $74 for a hem!! I don't think so". Confused about all the negative reviews that I've read of this dry cleaning establishment. I've been taking my husband's shirts and suits here to get cleaned as well as my own clothing items ranging from silk blouses to cashmere sweaters and wool coats...I have never had an issue. Everything is always well cleaned, and stains have always been removed. I have also never experienced nor have I witnessed any of the extreme behavior that one reviewer mentioned. Having an article of clothing thrown at you? Not that my opinion matters, but having dealt with these folks for awhile, I highly highly doubt that this happened as described, and if it did, I feel confident that the customer must have likely behaved in some highly rude and condescending way to elicit such a response from the demure Asian proprietors of the establishment. Anyway, I know Yelp can affect the traffic to certain businesses, so I wanted to provide my perspective in case these 4 negative reviews have been putting anyone off. I will also say that I used to use Thomas Cleaner's, and they are also good. But they are more expensive, so I switched and thus far have been happy with the decision. read more

If you have French Cuff shirts and want the sleeves clean, do not go here. Every other cleaner has no issues. This one has issues with basic stains also. Stay away. Go to Katie's Cleaners. read more

Been going to Hilltop Cleaners for two years. Both husband and wife at times can be unfriendly. Recently they lost my wife's cashmere sweater.They refused to acknowledge the fact that they were responsible. Husband so rude and yelling to get out of store .Wife put her fingers in her ears,to avoid listening to my wife . will never go back and I'll do my best to relate our horible experience. I had terrible service here. I brought some shirt ties for cleaning. When I picked them up, all of them still had stains. When I pointed this out they first took them back and tried to remove the stains while I waited. But two of the ties still had stains. I asked that they try again and they gave me a dirty look then brought them back and literally threw them at me. One of them still had a stain and I politely asked that they clean it again. They started talking to themselves in their native language and giving me dirty looks. Again the tie was thrown at me. It still had a small stain. They may be less expensive than some other local dry cleaners but the poor service is not worth any small savings. read more

I brought a dress in to be hemmed, asked the husband what the price would be, he said his wife decides. I then asked for an estimate, it was not an expensive dress and I didn't want to over pay. He told me about $25-30. When i picked up the dress I was surprised to be told by the wife that it was $38. I then mentioned what the husband said the price would be and she looked at me and said "I don't think so." So rude and very overpriced for a simple hem on a spandex/cotton dress. hilltop steals shirts. my hubby's canali and zegna shirts (approx $500) were stolen and the rude, abrupt husband and wife not only refused to look for them, but also told me off, made faces, pushed me out of the way, folded their arms and would not look me in the face when i came back a third time with a similar shirt to find the others. the man literally put his fingers in his ears whilst grimacing. this is after years of week-in, week-out patronage. previously, a sweater with v fine blue mother-of-pearl buttons came back with all but one button replaced by cheap plastic...also did not try to find fancy buttons, that should have tipped me off. awful, pathetic people. read more
