I had a gel manicure as part of an AmazonLocal offer, and I cannot recommend the salon. My major misgiving is the lack of sanitation: I soaked my fingertips in rubber vials of acetone, and nail color from previous clients was floating in them. The manicurist used implements from containers on her desk--none of which were sanitized--and returned them to the containers when she was done using them. She didn't apply cuticle cream or soak my fingertips to soften the cuticles. Nor did she clean under my nails. The manicure was rushed, and when I left, my hands were as dry as when I arrived. I purchased a Groupon to get a manicure and pedicure with Kimberly. It says appointment required. I tried calling and no answer. Voicemail says to text so I did. One hour later she replied saying "im booked the whole week, no appointment available until two weeks from one" i did not answer. I contacted Groupon and got a refund. A little professionalism would of been appreciated. I do not usually purchase from Groupon but since i move from Florida I was looking for a well reviewed place to make my frequent visits. But for sure wont even think again of coming to see this Kimberly lady. Very disappointed. read more

I was very pleased with the service by Kimberly. She was very nice and professional. I went in person to set up an appointment for my Living Social Voucher and she confirmed by text the day before. She even finished with me quicker than scheduled which was awesome because I went in on my lunch break. Sorry this is so long.. I don't like to give any business bad reviews but I was very upset with Kimberly Masters rude and disrespectful behavior. I had multiple issues trying to schedule an appointment with Kimberly Masters to redeem a groupon for 3 shellac manicures. On top of the scheduling issues she was very rude and blatantly accused me of lying to her. First, I scheduled an appointment with her at the beginning of July. The day before my appointment I called to confirm and she said she did not have me on the schedule. I was a little put off by the scheduling issue but I said I would call her back and reschedule. Instead I set up an appointment with another business to get my nails done in the mean time. Shortly after I called Kim back to reschedule. She said that nothing was available until August 1st. I went ahead and scheduled that appointment and from what I understood, we were suppose to schedule the next two appointments when I got there on the first. On July 23 I received a text from Kim that said "confirmation 1000am Wednesday." I assumed she had me scheduled for the 24th, which was the next day, so I texted back "so tomorrow at 10 for shellac?"(apparently later I found out she took this as confirmation. I guess she didn't notice the question mark.) She did not respond to my text. After that, I tried to call but her phone continued to ring. She never answered and I was unable to leave a message. I went through the same process the next morning but the phone continued to ring then too. I was unable to cancel the appointment and I was unable to make it there by 1000am because of school. I did show up to the business later to talk to Kim about the situation. When I explained I did not set up the appointment and I had tried to call her and let her know she accused me of lying about it. Plus she said I set up all 3 of the appointments when I set up only 1. I would admit if there were any possibility that I may have made a mistake but I know I am right. I wouldn't have set up an appointment on Wednesday because of school. Plus I would not have set the appointment a week before the next one. It does not make sense! Furthermore, I know when I scheduled the appointment it was on the last day of school, so it was burned into my mind that it was my reward on the last day of school( on top of putting it on my phone calendar like I always do with appointments). After she accused me of lying about this and lying about calling her, she told me I would not be able to redeem the groupon for all 3 shellac manicures because I missed my appointment (the nerve!). I was so upset by her accusations and her rude behavior that I told her to forget about it and I would just get a refund. What ever happened to doing a good job, good customer service, and having manners?? Even if the scheduling issue was a fluke for her and even if she is really good at giving manicures I would not go back to this place if someone paid me to do it. That is not how you treat customers or how you treat other human beings for that matter.. Apparently I am not the only one who has had issues with her. Just read a couple of the other reviews. Kimberly is extremely hard to get an appointment with and is difficult to work with. Will only text clients and she texts during the entire appointment. She was rude and unprofessional. My nail color is streaky and uneven. She does "dry manicures" but did nothing to soften my cuticles. So she practically ripped my cuticles off and I bled. She is not very sanitary either. read more

If i could give this business a negative amount of stars, I would. I am a busy mom of 3 boys under 4 and work full-time. I took 2 hrs off from my busy job to get my nails done with a groupon purchase of gel mani and pedi. Mentioned this to Kimberly when i called for my appt, and like the other reviewers..had to wait 3 mths to get in for an appt. When i got there, the place is a DUMP and she is a heavy smoker who smelled like an ashtray. I showed her my groupon and she said OH i just booked you for a gel mani. I asked her why would i book just a mani when my groupon is for both. She rudely replied...My books are NEVER wrong. SERIOUSLY?!?!? I was angry to say the least. Since i didn't have time to rebook the whole appt, i let her do my gel mani (which was the WORST ever - lasted a whole 4 days before i started chipping) and re-booked my pedicure appt. WHile she was doing my mani, her next appt showed up and so she rushed thru the rest of my manicure. So the day of my pedicure (which i rebooked because she didn't book my initial appt correctly), i was running late becuase it was pouring down rain, i texted her to let her know,. Her response was that she was cancelling my appt and it would cost $25 to rebook. SHE IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS PERSON and I wouldn't let my worst enemy go to her. PLEASE AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS. read more

Kimberly Masters is awesome!!! I have been with Kimberly a few years- & I have NEVER had anything but GREAT service!!!! I use Kimberly for manicures, pedicures & foot massages on a regular basis & wouldn't use anyone else!!! She's very prompt, attentive & fashion savvy- keeping all the latest instruments of her trade in excellent sanitary condition & a HUGE assortment of shellac colors(Very update!). My husband who is a licensed Plumber wouldn't let me go anywhere else- she uses the newest pedicure chair with a new plastic tub for each customer, you don't have to worry about true cleanliness. She also carries polishes to match shellacs for pedicures- (if she doesn't she will by ur next visit). I have appts. scheduled with Kimberly for the rest of the year, and she always text me a confirmation the day before, that's better than any of my other types of appts. If you haven't tried shellac, Kimberly should b ur first choice!!! The product is lasting & Kimberly applies it with great knowledge. I could go on, but what you should remember is Kimberly Masters is a very good at what she does, & I highly recommend her!!!! read more

Tring tonscheduke the appointment was all done through text message because I never received a call backnfrom the message I originally left requesting an appointment. I Went for a manicure and pedicure. Nails were decent, but it was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The whole pedicure lasted maybe 15-20 minutes. I have had express pedicures before that lasted longer than this one did. My cuticles were not cut properly. There is one nail tech. I would never recommend this place to anyone for nail services. Kimberly, the nail tech, also was not very. I was verbally and noticeably unhappy with my services and she proceeded to discuss it with another waiting customer as if Imwas not there. I did it because it was the right thing to do, but it was very difficult to tip for the services and I regret doing so. It definitely was not deserved.
