In October 2020, I reached out again. I finally pulled the trigger in July 2021, asking for a whole-house water softener and carbon filtration system. Despite false starts, I never felt pressured, and I always heard back within a few hours. Installation happened just two days after the deposit. The ongoing semiconductor shortage will lead to upward price pressure on water softeners and decrease their supply. Bob provided me with a free grain capacity upgrade since the unit best sized for my house and family size was unavailable. Moreover, Aquatron honored its Oct 2020 quote (we never quoted in Jul 2019), saving me at least $200. When my test strips after the installation showed hard water coming from my kitchen faucet, Bob bolted over on the same day to do his own tests. He noticed that my kitchen faucet was drawing an ever-so-slight amount of hot water, which would be hard because it was in my water heater before the installation. Sure enough, a few days later, my hot (and cold) water's hardness is undetectable. As a PhD chemist, I found Bob's explanations of reverse osmosis, ion exchange, and carbon filtration to be accurate and informative. Now that I have the water softener, I can linger in the shower without worrying about my skin drying and use my espresso machine without managing deliveries of water bottles. When the softener regenerated in the middle of the night and woke us up (our bedroom is right over the part of the basement the system is located in), Ardi was responsive to our texts and assured us that the noise was normal. He came within a few days and helped us reset the time of regeneration to a better time. He even came back a second time to secure a pipe so the sound wouldn't travel as much. They also matched a competitor's offer and warranty. Overall very happy with the system so far!

The guy who installed RO at my house was not a licensed plumber. He connected the waste water drain after the P-Trap of kitchen sink drain(pic attached), which is illegal, dangerous and against the code. It can cause sever gases to come in contact with RO filters which is very risky. Luckily I noticed and called them. They apologized, and told they will come over to fix, and they will send a licensed plumber who knows what he's doing. A guy showed up after 3 days, and this time again they sent a service guy (again, no licensed plumber) who left P-Trap under my kitchen sink leaking, and I had to call them a third time. Horrible experience end to end. But, buyers, beware, this is not a trustworthy company. Save your money, call your licensed plumber to install RO.

Niagara installed a whole-house softener along with a kitchen filter unit at my home. Within a…read morerelatively short time, the softener was stripping water hardness to near zero, producing aggressively corrosive water that damaged brass fixtures throughout the house. This is a known risk with an improperly calibrated softener, and it is the installer's job to set it correctly or catch it. When I reached out to Paul directly to flag the corrosion and ask for help, I sent two text messages. Both were read. Neither received a reply -- not a callback, not an acknowledgment, nothing. I had to bring in an independent plumber and a different water treatment company to get the problem diagnosed and fixed. A family business built on personal relationships depends on actually answering the people it serves, especially when something it installed is causing damage. I would not recommend Niagara to anyone based on this experience.

I texted him 2 weeks out to ask about the permit and he told me it was already pulled and the city would call me after installation. Day of install they never showed up so I called. He finally called back later that afternoon and said he had mixed me up with another customer and that he would "handle it personally".... He was always the only one involved! Lol! He didn't even know what I was having installed. He had zero idea what was going on. I'm done! I've already moved on to someone else. What if I had taken a day off work? I would be out $. This infuriates me! Don't use Culligan!
