This is my go to imaging center. I have been to going to this location for many years. I have always found the exam rooms and the bathrooms clean. The staff is professional and respectful. I saw someone's comment about the condition of one bathroom. Unfortunately some people are just rude and gross. There are a few different bathrooms, so you alert the staff and use a different bathroom. If the staff doesn't address the problem then that's a problem or if all the bathroom are in a bad state. I have always found the staff is professional and respectful. You get your test results pretty quickly. They don't keep you waiting for appointments. They do remind you a bunch of times to schedule your appointment which is both annoying and helpful but some people do need those reminders. I have to admit that I hate needing to go to an imaging center for every xray or scan because my doctor used to do a number of diagnostic in his office as part of my yearly physical so one appointment and your done. Unfortunately my insurance company will only cover the cost of certain tests if they are done at an imaging center which is damn annoying. Insurance companies really piss me off but that isn't the imaging center's fault. In fact I was able to schedule my annual mamo with one of the scans I needed in back to back appointments. You also always are told your out of pocket costs before your visit so there are no billing surprises which I appreciate. read more

God forbid you need a "stat" appointment at this facility to rule out a blood clot. After spending 26 minutes on the phone and having the operator repeat the same questions over and over, I finally got frustrated enough and ended the call. The first appointment I was offered in the Rutherford office was a full week from today. My doctor ordered a stat doppler ultrasound for a reason. horrible cant speak w anyone at the facility because u can only speak w the scheduling people . it was a horrible experience to even make an appointment w the slow speaking lady on the phone asking questions that will be asked again when u go to the actual appointment. then took a family member to the appointment and forgot my wallet and still could not speakntona person at the front desk /waiting area. Had a mammogram and breast ultrasound a week ago and still no results are available. They are now telling him it will probable be another week and my studies haven't even been assigned to a radiologist yet because they are behind. If you want your results expeditiously, go elsewhere. read more

I have an appointment scheduled, so can't speak to the actual experience in office as of yet. However, immediately after the phone call scheduling the appointment, I received both a text and an email stating that they were from New Jersey Imaging Network with my personally identifiable information. It then made mention of a Breast imaging exam (not what I was going in for), in addition to the following messaging: Hello 'XXXXX XXXXXXX (Redacting my name), According to our records you are due for a follow-up breast imaging examination. We encourage you to make an appointment at Cape Radiology on 021-761-0036, via WhatsApp on 021-799-9939 or email us on referrals@caperad.co.za. Please bring the following with you to your appointment - a copy of this letter and the referral note from your doctor, should you have one. All mammograms, breast ultrasounds and reports from our practices have been stored digitally by the practice. You do not need to bring any old mammograms with you unless they were performed by another practice. Yours sincerely Cape Radiology' I called them to let them know that their system was probably hacked and they had no idea what I was referring to. They resent the text and email appointment confirmation and sure enough I received the same exact message again. I'm sure this isn't compliant with HIPAA regulations. I'm tech savvy and know not enough to click on text messages containing what appears to be a South African email domain, but I imagine some older clients might see a text and email come in from New Jersey Imaging and provide PII to folks not associated with this doctor. The advice I was given by the doctor's office was simply to delete and block the message. I recommended they bring this up to their IT team. They said that there was no way it could be coming from their office. I've never interacted with New Jersey imaging prior to booking this appointment and the 2 times I call for to discuss the appointment are the 2 times that I receive a scam text and email but no legit text/email. Let's start off by saying that I really didn't want to post this negative review, but I would like to save others from the frustration and intense aggravation I am feeling! I had an appointment for a diagnostic mammogram with a follow-up ultrasound because I found a lump in my breast that I had previously tested positive for cancer. Needless to say, I am very upset. I took an Uber to the appointment, waited quite a while, then was taken in. Much to my surprise, the radiologist asked me for my previous mammograms. I spoke to 3 different people when making this appointment and no one told me I had to get them. RMI told me to get the tests and then make another appointment. NJ imaging sucks and here is why. I logged on and filled out all the information they wanted about my Mom. Then every day I logged on there was a message asking for something else. After the 3rd day I stopped answering their emails. I need an MRI. When I went on to their Rutherford website, it shows an open MRI, but when you call, they state you need to go to Mahwah. The Mahwah website claims Saturday hours till 4:30. I went to fill out the numerous forms in person on 5-31-2025 and guess what, no one was there, they were closed. Trying to call them is a waste of time. How stupid are they that they don't have the correct hours listed on the website for the Mahwah location. I drove from Secaucus only to be screwed by NJ imaging. I will do my best to find another imaging center that does not have their head up their ass. If you want to get dicked around, and frustrated beyond belief, go to NJ imaging center. They do a great job of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Unprofessional, understaffed and rude. I am disabled and slow. I I called to avise I'd be late. I arrived late and signed in. After sitting in the waiting room for a half hour I was told I had to reschedule. I walked out. Called customer service spoke to someone named Seliene. She was just as unhelpful. Patients should not be treated like that let alone disabled patients. I will advise my referring doctor to not refer his patients anymore. read more

They tried to charge me 3 times higher than what my insurance allows them. The insurance company called them to give them the code they should have already. Then they said the insurance never called them. I went back twice after the insurance told me that they will charge me properly but they kept charging triple. I left after I canceled the appointment. Here is the fun part: They started texting me multiple times per day!!! FROM DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS!!! Blocked all of them and reported spam. I called to cancel again. Still, They continued sending me text messages to "remind me" of the appointment. I called again last Thursday and asked to file a complain with their management. And asked for my phone number to be removed. ARE YOU READY?? They switched to calling me, a day later, via an automated line (yea from a different number) that has no option to speak with a representative , but only to leave a message if I want to cancel my appointment !! This has been going on for 6 weeks now. I will tell ALL my doctors about this experience. I will file a police report. Never again at this annoying company. read more

I can't figure out how to edit my review so I'll just add another. I STILL DONT HAVE MY MONEY. I have now involved my insurance company. They called NJ imaging and they were told my flexible spending card would be credited. Then 3 hours later someone calls me from imaging and leaves a message as I missed the call. When I called back of course I couldn't get the supervisor that left me the message because no one has a direct line (of course they do they just don't give them out) This person told me they couldn't credit the flexible spending card because the number on the card was different as my old card had expired. My insurance company explained that my account is still active and open. And the person at imaging even asked also for the new card number. I had given them the check they sent back because I can't sign that over to my insurance company. Guess what? They told my insurance company that they sent out another check!! This is after the very helpful office manager explained to them the situation and has been trying to help the past 2-3 weeks. They literally were told I can't use a check and what do they do?? Send another one? Holy moly. INEPT. I'll say it again, run, don't walk, run away from this place. They take your money and don't give it back. read more

I've been to this facility a number of times and never had a problem. However, this all changed when I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, 6/30/23. I made my appointment at the beginning of June for an Abdominal Aorta Ultrasound -- my doctor faxed over the script and I received numerous texts to contact the office make my appointment. When I finally called in the beginning of June -- the girl who answered the phone called up my script and informed me of what test need to be done, and made my appointment that was convenient for me. When I was on my way to the Imaging Center, I received a call from them informing me that the Center does not do that kind of ultrasound -- REALLY??? I made the appointment a month prior, and NOBODY realized that -- they read my script and even told me what I had to do prior to my test. This is totally unacceptable -- I am going to tell everyone I know about this so they don't use this facility and waste a month of their time. This facility should hire people who know what they are doing -- and what tests they provide. read more

Staff is very friendly but service is terrible, they forgot about my mom, I went to the front desk and asked them how much longer after an hour waiting, they couldn't even find her name in the computer, than they call us to back to sit her in a gown to wait more. Was sent a bill from them for $900. Made it look I like owed them that after insurance. Come to find out that insurance wasnt even sent a bill from them yet. If a senior were to receive a bill from them, they would probably pay it, not even aware of how deceiving it was. I normally get my scans done on page Ave in lyndhurst. So needed them back fast and lyndhurst takes forever to get the scans back. I love the ladies at the desk in the lyndhurst location , but the ladies here were great too. But drs in lyndhurst location I am not fond of some of them exactly the MRI people. First time here and I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit. Had to come for an MRI and a sonogram. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was treated quickly, and the technicians were very pleasant and informative. Upon leaving I called to schedule an apt with the neurosurgeon only to find out they also needed and x-ray. I called back this place and told them what had transpired and they had no problem taking me in again without making an appointment. They even waited patiently as the neurosurgeon's office faxed over the referral. I would definitely recommend coming here and would come back again. read more

I have been to this facility numerous times. The technicians are always polite and professional. One star rating goes to actually making an appointment here. It takes over an hour for them to receive a fax, ( come on! It's 2022!) they are quick to place you on hold while looking for a fax ( over 10 minutes!) while listening to horrible music over & over again! The female who answered the phone when I called the first time today ( had to call back 3 times!) was just downright RUDE! Please be WARNED before going to this office: I received a test on June 1, 2019. I was charged more than $300 for the test. I soon thereafter found out I was erroneously charged. Since my health insurance covered the test at 100%, I should have been charged nothing. New Jersey Imaging Network admitted their error, yet I have spent literally seven months trying to be reimbursed. I've been given the runaround for more than half a year. I've talked to customer service reps and even managers. I was told, twice, that a check was in the mail. Unfortunately, personnel at NJIN are outright lying. My health insurance has stepped in -- even they can't get answers. How messy is this? My insurance company has advised me to retain a lawyer. A LAWYER. Please, if you go here, find out beforehand what needs to come out of pocket and what doesn't. Don't get into the mess I'm in. As of today, I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

The receptionists in the front are a joke. I came here on a Wednesday morning. Waited about 30 minutes to be seen. I filled out my paperwork. I was involved in a car accident, they told me that I did not have to included that in my paperwork. I told them I did need to because if my medical files were subpoenad they would see in was here due to my injuries sustained in my accident. They said that is not true. Little did they now I am in the legal field. I suggested they not give any legal advise. Stick to what you know. Apparently all they know is just listening to that ghetto radio in the office. I was very pleased with my visit to NJ Imaging. I went in one week for X-rays and the next week for a bone scan. My experience there was very pleasant and informative. I found out out a few things, by visiting them, that I never knew before. From the front desk to the staff they were quite helpful. Making appointments and dealing with the front desk was such a difference from a few years ago. In prior years, the front desk, was very rude, messed up appointments. Etc. not helpful at all. I almost did not go back, except for the fact that it is so close. But, I must say, things have changed immensely. I will be going back in the summer for my mammogram. Not that I'm looking forward to that. What woman ever is, but they put your mind and body at ease. Would highly recommend them. read more

Went to the Rutherford location for X-Rays of Lumbar spine and Thoracic Spine. I am a Registered licensed X-Ray Technician with over 20 years experience. My visit was for films to be used in a second opinion examination by another Surgeon For a 2 level lumbar fusion. ,so these films are important. The girl who took my x rays acted like the place was on fire and had no people skills she was curt rushing even though the place was almost MT. One other person was in the whole place. I saw the screen with the exposures on it from where i was and commented that the films were x-tra light and the important anatomical areas were not shown and that i myself was a Technician , she showed no professional courteously. She just ignored me and kept on. I got my disc from the front desk and after viewing on my computer realized that they were way under penetrated which means they are useless. If over developed the computer can dial back the darkness (density) but if underpenetrated (light)the info in not there for the computer to dial up and make darker. I called them and complained and they told me the radiologist already dictated the Study I would never hand such a garbage set of films to a RADIOLOGIST of all people. The Orthopedic docs i worked for would have asked me if it was April Fools day, are u kidding me? This place would not budge. So i wasted my prescription on this place. There are two many imaging centers for this place to exist. Don't do It, avoid the place. I am not from San Francisco as it says above i don't know why maybe VPN. read more

I would give them less than a not good!! The New Jersey imaging billing practices are awful they expect payment upfront regardless if you have insurance. The reimbursement took 2 month they sent a check then stopped the check and I got charged $20.00 when they decided to refund my CC. 6 month later and they haven't reimbursed the $20.00 charge. I am having ALL my scans sent to Summit Radiology. I will not be using New Jersey imaging again!! read more

I came here for a pelvic sonogram. The staff was very nice and inviting. I was taken immediately, and only had to wait about 5 minutes for the exam to start. Unfortunately, I will not be going back here for one reason. The bathroom was really dirty, and the exam room smelled like a dirty ass. I was instructed to change in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was dirty, there was black grime and dust built up in the corners. Did I mention the smell? When a woman is going to get her vagina probed, she'd like to feel like the place has been well scrubbed. PLEASE mop the bathroom, and take care of the crotch smell in the air. read more

I had my MRI there today. Shawn performed my MRI for me and went above and beyond his duties. I am extremely claustrophobic and even with medication I was still nervous . Shawn made sure to talk to me the whole time , played music, and genuinely made a diligent effort to keep me calm. I am so thankful for him and getting me through this. His bedside manner was amazing and he truly is an asset to your practice. I hope his boss gets to see this because he deserves the recognition. I will always come to this facility if I need an imaging service. read more

Receptionist originally scheduled all 3 procedures for one day A few days prior to procedure I get a call back telling me that one of procedures wasn't done on that particular day So reschedule everything for two days, three procedures. On day one of mri, & ultrasound I get text alert to call or text, 15 minutes prior. Also website on day of says they are open , this is at 8:15, my appointment is @ 9 I call the number on my text alert , & is just a recording w/ no further prompts or info, no live receptionist,& clearly , as im standing outside there are patients inside as well as 3 receptionists A woman patient comes to door and is trying to call and same thing for her She entered, @ i maintaining social distance went in to inquire Receptionist is speaking v loudly about waiting outside, thought she was speaking to me , so I asked if she was talking to me , turned out to be the woman patient, , so now we're both back outside, and a male patient now is arriving and also not getting a phone response from his call to office to go in I did text,and got through and did get admin inside after 10 minutes And no greet as I approached receptionist My name is called by other receptionist and I acknowledge, that receptionist does a finger point for me to place myself in front of her , no vocalizing friom her , except insurance card , id& how are you paying I canceled everything and will look for a better place Now it's one day later and rather than bother with me, meaning a call back from this place directly to me , perhaps to ameliorate the situation, Some guy looking to fix a poor review, responds on yelp for me to call him They have my phone number They won't get my business Also only place that wants payment up front Can't schedule a payment using your bank account debit card read more

Awful receptionist-very rude to seniors (this is not the first time- there are also google reviews stating the same) My Dad who's is 87 and has trouble speaking went with my Mom, who is also in her mid 80's to help translate. She naturally had questions about safety (Dad has some metal in his chest) when results are expected etc - the lady was short, condescending and rude with her answers - like she was being bothered. My Mother called me in tears saying she couldn't understand why this woman was so rude and nasty to her. To make things worse they waited (per office instructions) for the results disc in the car - for 2 hours and when she went back in to her inquire about it the woman only answered "You don't have a mask on" and wouldn't help her. Told her to go back and get one -she had to walk back to the car - you mean to tell me she couldn't give her a disposable one?! Then to rub salt in the wound when my mom did get her mask, and walked all the way back (the parking isn't adequate either- she had to park down the block) - the bitch said the disc wasn't ready and come back the next day. Inexcusable. So - mom did go back the next day - the same woman looked at her, turned her head and had someone else help her. What a "C" - Woman should be fired - and hopefully she will be treated the same when she is elderly. Karmas a bitch. The organization and communication of this place is horrendous. They give you an appointment time which they don't keep and make you wait forever with no updates whatsoever. I had to keep asking the front desk again and again. They told me to get there at 10:30am for my 11:00am appointment. I waited for a whole hour until 11:30am. I just told them to cancel my appointment and I'll will NOT reschedule. I believe that their commitment to their patient reflects their competency and skills. They have a so many people on staff and not one of them could help me. No apology, no nothing. They act like they didn't do anything wrong. DO NOT GO HERE if you seek good medical service!!
