No complaints about the food, i love the orange chicken and cold sessame noodles! Have tried a variety of other things, usually very good (i'm picky.) My only complaint is i have left precise directions as to how to get to my door. I live in an apartment building and i'm further from the front door, i have access to a side door WHICH IS LABELED!! With out fail every single time i order, he goes to the front door and calls me yelling to come get my food which turns into me having to run around the building to find him. I've been ordering from New Jin Lin for several years and they are usually reliable, quick delivery, but lately I've noticed some changes. Their Pork with Chinese Vegetables used to have lots of nice slices of pork but lately there is less pork and smaller, hacked slices. Same thing in their Pork Lo Mein... there used to be a good amount of pork slices and now pork is hard to find amidst the noodles. I hope this is just a temporary slip. read more

Ordrred the shrimp toast & General Tso's chicken for lunch. Shrimp toast looked golden but lacked crunch and flavor. General Tso's chicken was waaaay too sweet! Chicken seemed very processed, almost rubbery and there were two little broccoli florets swimming in the sugary sauce. Delivery was about 35 minutes during lunch (1:45 pm) & price was reasonable. I just ordered from here for the first time and we were super satisfied! Everything was very affordable for big portions, and on top of that, they gave us two sodas with our order at no charge. Their menu has a lot of variety, especially vegetarian options. The vegetable lo mein was yummy and the general tso's bean curd was unbelievable!!! I'm very happy. Ordered takeout on the weekend and delivery was fast. The food however was terrible. I was looking forward to the chef specialty sesame beef but it was awful. It looked like General Tsao's chicken (the sauce in particular) except the chicken was substituted with beef. Why cover the beef with flour and fry it for this dish? The beef strips are suppose to be sauteed like in beef with oyster sauce (which I haven't tried at this place and probably won't). Overall good Chinese food. It isn't the best but is far better than most in the area. Staff has been friendly and delivery has been quick most of the time. So here is the scoop about this place. Great food hands down was my go to spot, but let me tell you what happened... so I ordered about two weeks ago a quick go to good dinner place, food came on time it was hot. I ordered beef sticks, Sesame chicken and Chicken and Broccoli (or beef). The first 2 beef sticks were good, but as I continued to eat it got a bit fishy tasting. Now is you have ever had the teriyaki beef sticks they shouldn't be fishy... so I put them aside and stopped eating them planned to throw them out. Wasn't too disappointed because hey the first two were good... now on to my dish the sesame chicken. Opened it looked fresh and good. Took a bite and I don't know what the ... this was made with but the sauce was orange sugar water drizzled onto the chicken, 4 pieces of broccoli. Let's just say it was the worst Chinese food I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of places. So I called (this was placed through grubhub) and asked for them to refund me only for my meal, not the other 2 items. Waited 2 hours until the "boss" was in, and got news they would refund me the whole order. I only asked for the one dish but it was considerate of them to refund the whole meal, so another plus for good customer service. So fast forward two weeks to today.. I place my order on grubhub. 10, 20.. minutes go by. I get a call from grubhub saying my order has been cancelled, because they no longer deliver to my area. I said "that is interesting because that has been my go to, and I've ordered from them about 15+ times". So the lady said that she would add that to the notes. So being who I am I called the restaurant and I ask if they deliver to the **/** area. The guy one the phones says oh is this 123 calling? (My address) I say yeah it is, then he continues to say "oh the boss said we just no longer deliver to you, because of the issue last time".. so here I am with no words for what this business just told me. Because they messed up my dish, and I had that issue, they no longer deliver to my address?? What kind of service ?? What the what?? This is crazy, I was so amazed that they could say that to a long time loyal customer. So they no longer have my service and I am hoping this happens to no one else because I am still shocked that they could say that to someone. Please don't order from here try other places, shop around until you find friendly good food because service does count when it comes to eating somewhere! read more

Never again, we placed our order at 8:45, with a delivery time given of 9:10. 9:10 comes around and we get a call that the delivery time has changed to 9:30 because it's so busy. That's fine. 10 comes around and we call and they say "because you live so far away it takes longer." Why deliver to a place if you think it's too far away? 10:15 finally our order arrives, I sign the receipt and the delivery driver has the nerve to comment on how far he's driven and asks where his cash tip is. I've ordered from here before and never have I ever had any problems like this. As good as the food is, I can promise I will never order from here again. read more

I don't post reviews unless I think it's helpful to a business or to other potential patrons. My husband and I ordered food tonight (it was the first time ordering from this restaurant). Unfortunately, it was absolutely terrible. The wonton soup (which is such a basic) had NO flavor. It was the worst I've ever had. We ordered other things and they were just as bad. We threw most of it away. And the "free soda" didn't arrive either, so that was a scam. All-in-all this is a place we will never order from again. read more
