Update: I was "allowed" to go back to the salon to get my nails that were not done correctly and hurt me, to get them fixed. My regular nail tech spent 30 minutes fixing my nails. The owner barely shaped my nails or cleaned up cuticles the first time. I said thank you twice to him as I was leaving and he just stared at me. THEN HE FOLLOWED ME OUT TO MY CAR AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO COME BACK BECAUSE OF THIS REVIEW. Totally unprofessional. The owner was also talking about me in his native language to another nail tech and acted as if I didn't know. Lastly, he was never a nice person to me or my mom when we would come in. I have tried this place a few times now. I specifically request to have my pedicure done by a specific nail tech. Every time I go I end up not being with who I request. The male owner always jumps in and does my pedicure. He does not properly cut my nails. Then he passes me off to someone else for the polish. The polish job is so bad it looks like a toddler did it. I called to have my pedicure redone and the owner is only "allowing" me to have my nails polished again by the specific person I always request. I am done paying money for a service that does not meet my expectations and does not honor my request. I will not recommend this place to anyone ever again. read more

I used to go to the old Kokomo location on cox crow rd before it burnt down. It was family owned and always a lovely experience. They no longer run this new location. I moved states & when came back I tried this location, twice. Received very mediocre pedicures both times... literally no pressure in the "massage". Felt rushed out & asked to pay far before service was over. somehow charged more the second time for the same service. I'm not the type to speak up in this situation so I just paid it. Also when the polish color on my manicure was so sheer it looked clear, I mentioned it & the older woman gave me an attitude saying "you chose it" so I didn't bother asking for another color. Was going here for about a year. Never had an issue with cleanliness or anything unsanitary. I stopped going when the worker complained about the tip I left. I explained to her that tipping is a courtesy not an expectation. So I took my tip and left. I'm pretty sure she is the owner, too. read more

There is only 1 person that does gel manicures and the pedicure is max 15 minutes. Very rude and expensive. They can't manage to service more than 2 customers at a time. Never again. read more

I recently moved to the area and a couple of ppl told me about the salon. I went once and it was good so I brought my daughter and sister back before Christmas. My sister liked it so I decided to buy her a gift card for Christmas. I paid cash on Christmas Eve. My sister, daughter and I went in for pedicures and the gift card had a zero balance!! I was so mad and I finally paid again for the pedicure. Finally the male owner gave me $20 back. The gift card was for $30. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! I told them this too! read more

I started off the visit completely annoyed because i had to wait 25 minutes even though I had an appointment. It only took the woman 23 minutes to do my nails. She clearly rushed through the manicure and was constantly looking at her watch. She didn't polish the nail near the cuticle so the manicure looked extremely grown out after only a few days. She also filed my nails half in a rush and I was left with nail dust packed underneath my nails and I had to touch up the filing myself because the nails were left jagged. I am not one to normally make a public review, but in this case I feel it completely necessary for the public to know the unstable nature of the employees at this business, specifically the owner John. My daughter, a regular customer there for years, had an appointment to get her nails done for her prom. She wanted an ombré design and the woman, John's wife, told her she could do it. The appointment started and the woman doing her nails got annoyed because she wanted her nails shorter. My daughter had to keep asking her to go shorter and the woman got annoyed with her every time. Once the nails got to the correct length (length was good but nails were uneven and crooked), she started the ombré design. She used a sponge to do the ombré design which is usually done by airbrush, and when she was finished, it looked nothing like it should have. My daughter, who was trying to be polite, asked her if she could change it as it wasn't what she wanted. Instead of taking that polish off, she just covered it with layers of white polish and threw some glitter on it. Without a word to my daughter. The woman just walked out. My daughter, who was visibly upset, called me. She told me the story, and I told her I would call them. She is totally the kid that feels uncomfortable letting someone know she is unhappy. I called the salon, and John, the owner answered the phone. I explained the situation and he immediately became angered and aggressive saying over and over, "my wife, my wife." I simply asked if they could do a polish change, explaining how tough the last year was and she just wanted to feel special for her prom. I even said I would pay for the polish change. He started yelling at me.He said to me "I'm not going to take time away from his other customers for your daughter." I told him she didn't like them, they weren't done correctly, and to please not charge her. He said, "I won't charge her, but I'm going to cut the nails off her hand." He was extremely rude and irrational. I told him NOT ago touch her, and at that point he hung up on me. I immediately called my daughter (who was in the middle of a pedicure) and told her she needed to stay on the phone with me. She asked me what happened and told me that he was now yelling at her across the salon and threw the phone down onto the chair. As I was on the phone with her, he continued to yell at her across the salon and berate her. She was now crying in the chair. She finished her pedicure, thanked and tipped the person who did it, and got up out of the chair. John then came up to her and approached my daughter in his aggressive tone, basically trying to get her to sit down in his chair. I told her that she was not to sit in his chair, as he threatened to cut the nails off in disgust. She politely said, "I'm just going to pay for the nails and the pedi and go home." He continued in anger, trying to get her to sit down with him. She said over and over, " I just want to pay and ho home." This is a minor child that he got aggressive with because she didn't like her nails. If I didn't have to immediately find someplace else to fix their mistakes (after 6pm and prom next day), I would have called the police, as this man threatened my daughter, telling her he was going to cut the nails off that she didn't like. If I could give zero stars I would. This man is unstable. You should never have to feel like you're in a threatening situation when you're paying for a service. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!! read more

Walked in at 4:30 as a walk in and they close at 7:00 and they would not take me because I didn't have an appt. don't advertise that u accept walk ins if u want people to make appts. This is the best nail salon I have ever been to and I will never go anywhere else. The staff is amazing, the salon is pristine and the services are on point. A normal price for a gel manicure is $30 and a pedicure is $27. A little bit higher than the rest of the salons in the area, but it is definitely worth it. They give extra long massages during pedicures and even do a mini back massage after a manicure. I love this place. read more
