Dr. Lousine Kirakosian is honest, knowledgeable, an expert at what she does, and truly cares about her patient's dental health and wellbeing. New Look Dental was able to provide a positive experience for me. I usually dread fillings, but Dr. Kirakosian and her team make sure you're at ease and perform dental procedures rather quickly! As long as you communicate your needs (such as wanting more novocaine for teeth sensitivity) they will provide it for you. They keep their workspace very clean and use modern technology. Other bonuses- They play nice music and have a TV on the ceiling showing aquarium fish or in my most recent visit, episodes of Bob Ross painting, which was calming. In one instance, they were running behind schedule, but Dr. Kirakosian was professional and sincerely apologetic, which I really appreciated. Both Ruby and the Filipina dental assistant (I forgot her name) are wonderful, and so are the rest of the staff. Amazing! I found this place through my insurance, but I doubled checked the review on yelp...I made a decision to come here and I love it. The atmosphere is very comfortable, they called my insurance ahead of time and figured out what I would be paying for anthing that I needed. There was a family there when I arrived and they new them very well. I could tell they treat their clients like family. I will be coming back here again. Their tech is also something I havent seen. I was surprised. Making an appointment was also easy and fast because of how quickly the staff worked there. Dr. Kirakosian is not only gentle; she is highly competent and skilled in dentistry. I had broken my front tooth in an accident, and my mouth was sore. She was very comforting and took her time. She did not rush to repair my broken tooth; she waited until I was completely free of pain, which took 2 months. She took over 2 hours to expertly repair the broken front tooth, matching color, texture, and even the ridges in my natural tooth. The repair is undetectable unless you look at it with a magnifying glass! About a year later, I made an appointment for a checkup, and when I arrived, she informed me that she no longer accepted my insurance. That was extremely disappointing because I think she should have informed her patients as soon as she decided not to accept that insurance. Above all, her appointment "scheduler" should have informed me on the phone when I made the appointment. I think I would have felt a little better if she had offered to just look at the tooth she repaired, which was still fine, but all she said was that I could either pay out of pocket or change my insurance, which wouldn't even have been possible for another 7 months! I left her office hurt, like nobody cared. I visited another dental office and they gave me a super high estimate. I felt uncomfortable with the new dentist and didn't go back for the proposed treatment. I didn't even let them clean my teeth because after the treatment estimate, I was afraid that a cleaning and probing all over my mouth might speed up my need for the 2 root canals recommended by the dentist! (8 months ago, that dentist told me I would be in pain very soon if I didn't have the root canals done. So far, thankfully, NO pain at all. I wonder if I really needed them, and will trust Dr. Kirakosian's judgement on that.) It is now nearly 2 1/2 years after the initial visit, and I have new insurance that Dr. Kirakosian accepts. Besides being gentle and not causing the slightest pain to the patient, the other good thing about Dr. Kirakosian is that she has a small office, and does the cleaning herself. She doesn't run from room to room treating multiple patients in a hurry while someone else cleans teeth. Her attention is 100% with the patient. If anything goes wrong, or if she discovers something she hadn't noticed while doing a cleaning, she is right there to take care of it. I have always been uncomfortable having a hygienist clean my teeth, no matter how skilled. Like many of us, I hate getting dental work done, but I believe I am in the best possible hands with Dr. Kirakosian, and am looking forward to my appointment with her next week. read more

When it comes to a dentist I am the biggest chicken in the whole world!! I was so scared that I didn't even sleep last night.. I haven't seen a dentist for a few years but when my wisdom tooth came in I got referred to Doctor Lousine Kirakosian at New Look Dental. When I walked in I was shocked at how nice and welcoming everyone was, I really can't say a single bad thing. The receptionist was very nice and very easy to talk to, then Gayane took my X-ray (I don't really know what her position is I think she might be a dental assistant not sure) she was the deal sealer, any dentist I have ever gone to makes you feel like crap for eating the things you eat... She reminded me that she is also a human and likes to eat the same stuff I like to eat and she has to see a dentist as well.. She also explained everything to me in terms that I understand which I greatly appreciated. Then came the Doctor who i am still shocked at how nice and gentle she was. To finish off I got my teeth cleaned by a woman named Ani, she was AWESOME! She didn't hurt me at all and the whole time she was talking to me making me feel comfortable. All around I had a amazing experience here and I'm excited to see them again! Thanks ladies! read more
