This is the best Chinese Takeout place I have ever experienced. They have all of the typical Chinese takeout foods, their price is very reasonable. They have a small sit-down area of about 5 tables if you want to eat in-house. I usually order the lunch combination which consists of an entree, soup and fried rice. One of my favorite parts of moving to Nutley. I will never order from another place again. Unless I don't have cash lol because they don't take cards over the phone.minus one star due to lack of convenience. I rarely have cash and if I wanted to go get my food, I would go to a restaurant. But Cheese wontons are awesome. All the chicken dishes are so fresh. The rice and noodles are not too greasy. The egg roll doesn't drip with oil and is light and flaky. read more

I've been ordering food from New Man Hing for about 10 years now. They serve consistent, excellent, non-greasy Chinese food. The place is not much to look at... typical busy Chinese kitchen with a few small tables. But no matter, since I almost always phone in my order for delivery, and no matter how busy they are on a Friday or Saturday night, the food comes within 20 minutes. I don't order your typical Chinese food, since most of it will clog your arteries and kill you if you have it regularly. Here is what I order: Young Chow wonton soup, steamed chicken and string beans and steamed pork and broccoli with garlic sauce on the side, vegetable fried rice, and maybe an eggroll. The soup is excellent. Young chow wonton soup comes in a large quart container and has a little bit of everything...four wontons, chicken, pork, shrimp, and lots of vegetables. It is always consistently excellent. The string beans and broccoli in the steamed dishes I order are always very fresh and delicious, and the chicken is very, very good too. It is sliced chicken breast with no fat, and very tender. The pork is excellent too. I usually take some vegetable fried rice and the two steamed dishes and mix them with a drizzle of garlic sauce on top, and it makes a great meal that is not as unhealthy as your typical Chinese food. I've ordered this probably once a week for the past 10 years, and it is consistently high quality. I highly recommend New Man Hing. read more

I have only ever ordered take out delivery from this restaurant. Their food is really good. Their delivery service is timely, and the driver is always polite. And I tip well, mostly for the driver's sake. Their website has been recently revamped and is done well. My problem is that if 'you' mess up your order they don't take responsibility. Tonight as I write this I ordered, among other items, two egg rolls for my wife and myself, and we only got 1 egg roll. I called them back thinking 'If they don't know they screwed up they can't fix it'. The woman on the phone read back my 'order' and told me that they delivered what I ordered (they did not). Don't tell your customers that they are wrong. They begrudgingly offered to take another order for the missing item, which is fine. I expect to pay for what I order, but the whole mood had gone to place where I just said "forget it". Also, I expected the regular gamut of packet sauces to be included with fried wontons and egg roll(s). The hot mustard I thought would be a given sauce was absent. Their policy seems to be: If you want a packet, ask for it. read more
