They hit another home run when Isaiah and Monty were assigned to a plumbing issue at my house. It was a hectic week to start, topped off with a backed up toilet that started to overflow. After I turned off the toilet and used a plunger and some elbow grease to fight back the overflow, I knew I needed a professional opinion. Turns out, Jazz not only fixed a huge backup of sewage, fixing the immediate issue; they did it with such professionalism that I was really impressed. Monty and Isaiah were a great team. Special shout out to their non-pushy approach. I really appreciated the speed, efficiency, professionalism and honesty that these associates demonstrated. The folks on the phone, such as Mario and Adrian/AJ, are also fantastic and really made the process easy end-to-end. Well done, Jazz. That was excellent overall value and the highest-quality service I could ever ask for.

Given that I didn't have to wait days for an appointment, I agreed to the price, which was initially high compared to others. That being said, it ultimately became roughly the same, if not a little cheaper, than other places that charged by the hour or quarter hour, as the job was a little more complex than initially thought. The guy spent almost 2.5 hours here to change out two bibs (again, way more complex than he probably thought), and he did a wonderful job. My problems were addressed same day, same visit. If I chose other plumbers, I would have waited days before my items were addressed. I've used Jazz before with my older AC unit, and they will always have a spot in my contact list if I need help with my HVAC or plumbing.

My husband and I evaluated three vendors around the area in great detail and despite Chill coming out slightly more expensive than others, we felt they were the most thorough and comprehensive during the consultation (and the many follow-up questions I had). They were also able to squeeze us into their busy schedule so we could get AC before the heat wave! During installation, they ran into several challenges with placement of the new unit and some wiring that needed more attention. They worked through and around them to make everything work out in the end. I really appreciate their flexibility and expertise to navigate all the roadblocks without changing the scope of work. TIP: Measure the space where the unit is going to be placed and make sure the new unit will fit OR that you discuss this before the project starts.

Chill is a classic example of the type of business you should avoid. A repair guy (named Vik) came…read moreby to look at my AC system. He said the problem was the starter and said he could fix it for $460. While he was fixing it, I looked up the price of the part. It was $25. He was here for only 15 minutes. After the repairs, I asked him how much of the $460 was for parts and how much was for labor. He said about 50% for each. I then let him know that I found the part for $25. He responded that he doesn't buy the parts himself. So I paid $25 for parts and $435 for 15 minutes of work. Yes, I wish I had gone with another company.

Fuse came in significantly lower priced than everyone for a superior system. We wanted to add an additional vent on the main floor, and some dampers for a few of the vents and everything went like butter. Lex and Maxat were the nicest people, arrived on time, left at 6pm each day leaving the house clean. It was a 3 day install and they finished on the third day. Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

This included removal of the old units and ductwork, new ducting throughout, a two-zone ducted heat pump system with two new air handlers, an outdoor heat pump, and a ceiling-mounted cassette unit for our primary suite (a room that gets a lot of direct sun and had always been tough to keep cool with the old system). Teodor, our project manager, did a great job assessing our home and specifying the system. The installation crew, Azamat and Val, did excellent, careful work removing the old system, running new ductwork, and installing all the new equipment. The install took about 7 days. Communication was great throughout; scheduling, installation, and permitting all went smoothly.

Cody was prompt, professional, and thoughtful when considering where to install the vent and we are very happy with our purchase and experience with the QuietCool Guys. If you are considering a WHF, I would highly recommend going with the QuietCool Guys. I ended up with a better product than the other bids and the installation took less than an hour because we already had electrical outlets near where our WHF was installed.

They arrived on time, completed the work in under two hours, and explained everything about my new exhaust fan to me. They were very professional, covered a very large area around where the work took place with plastic, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. It was like they were not even there. The ceiling vent is almost invisible!! Very nice installation. The wireless remote they provided with the fan is very nice too!! It can be wall mounted or just placed on a countertop or railing or desk (very mobile) and it is very easy to use. The fan has a Lifetime Warranty and appeared to be very high quality. It performed exactly how they said it would. The scheduling and communication was excellent!!! Drew was very responsive. The pricing was very competitive too. I am looking forward to big savings on my electric bill, as I have been running my A/C at night to cool down my bedroom so I can sleep well!! I highly recommend The QuietCool Guys for purchasing and installing a whole house fan. Such a great product and install!!!

What I appreciated most was that he didn't just start replacing parts. He thoroughly diagnosed the system, explained what he was testing, and walked me through the results. He showed me that the capacitor was testing low, the contactor was worn and pitted, and even performed a megger test on the compressor to verify it was still healthy. After the repairs, he confirmed everything was working properly by showing me the compressor amperage had dropped back to normal and that the system had an 18-degree temperature split. Keon was patient with all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He explained the pros and cons of the recommended repairs, including the hard-start kit, so I could make an informed decision instead of feeling pressured. I really appreciated his transparency and professionalism. By the time he was done, our AC was cooling properly again, and he even worked with us on the final price. If you're looking for an HVAC technician who is knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and takes the time to educate his customers, I highly recommend Keon Garcia. Thanks again for getting our family cool again!
