After two days and hundreds of dollars, I was left with a barely built and bent gazebo. This included whole pieces not put back on and a giant hole in the mosquito netting. Not only did they not complete the job, they ruined the gazebo. I received no reimbursement of any kind. And on top of everything, they were extremely late showing up both days and communication was terrible. Then came packing and moving days. Now I would refer to this company as A Pickup and a Couple of Guys. They immediately started to complain about how much they had to pack and how they had to leave at 5 so they weren't sure they could get it done. China was packed using cloth place mats which they had to hunt to find since the china and place mats were in different parts of the house. There was plenty of bubble wrap available. Crystal was thrown in a box with packing paper. Items were moved from one part of the house to another to pack so when we unpacked we were not able to find complete sets of items. Sure enough, when 5 pm came the majority of packers left even though they had not packed any of our bathrooms and had left 4 kitchen cupboards untouched. Fortunately 2 of the other packers were responsible and finished up. The next day, the actual moving day, was a repeat. Complaints about how much stuff we had, they hadn't planned enough trucks, the boxes were too heavy. By 4:00, when we saw them passing a joint around we just wanted them gone. We are not naive but we didn't appreciate their vulgar language. On move in day they were expected between 8-9 AM. We had confirmed that time several times in advance. They did not show up until 1:30 PM. Every time we called to check we were told they were still loading the trucks. We now think they couldn't round up enough workers. Two furniture items were broken so they could not be used, 2 lamps were packed so poorly that the switches no longer worked. Several dishes and glasses were broken. We have taken pictures of all of the damage and submitted them multiple times to Nathan, the manager. He has not responded. No adjustor has come to analyze the broken pieces of furniture so we can get them repaired. We paid extra for breakage insurance so that was a waste of money.

Our move was complicated by our coming to Grand Rapids from northern lllinois. One senior…read moreorganization near our home helped me with sorting, tossing, downsizing in preparation for selling our house and moving. After a brief difficulty communicating what I wanted from our out-of-state move, their team of four young men came from GR to IL to pack us up and move us. Jayden called just before they were to come--that communication was extremely helpful, reassuring. Their team was open to working with the local woman who had been helping me get ready. The packing was appropriate. They kept VERY detailed inventory. Everything came thru safely. After arriving, when I couldn't find one valuable art item , Jayden made a separate trip over to help me find it. And he went above and beyond (on Ebay) to replace a special drinking glass that broke (and isn't made anymore). Frankly, the post-move help has been as helpful as the move itself! My only complaint has been that the boxes were not as well-labeled as I would have liked (I know that takes them extra time during packing, but . . . ). And heavy boxes got stacked too high in the new garage for me to handle. Again, Jayden and his team responded to my requests for help with this issue. Sadly, I lost my mother on December 18th (a week before Christmas) in Traverse City, MI. Pathways…read morehad moved my mom from her house to an assisted living facility less than one year-ago. When preparing for this last and final move of her belongings, I couldn't, for the life of me, find the keys to her safety deposit box. I along with one of her dear friends searched her apartment with no luck at all. Kelly, owner, called me on Monday January 6th and said they had found the keys along with a list of the contents of the box. I was elated!! Kelly is mailing them to me in Atlanta, GA.
