New Ocean Palace is one of my favorite places to eat sushi. I recommend getting one of the sushi dinners. The staff are very friendly and have always had a good experience dining in. My only concern is the waiting area for take-out is a bit tight and gets very congested on week-ends. I would recommend trying the Palace if you are in the mood for sushi. read more

Ordered 2 maki sushi rolls, a garden salad, and a combination plate (chicken w/ veggies & an egg roll) for delivery. The driver was prompt and pleasant, even in kinda nasty weather. The rolls were fresh and perfect and I'm really digging the ginger house salad dressing. Saving the combination for dinner but so far, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience here! Used to love this place but the service has gotten real shitty lately. Food was good but it took forever for the waiter to bring us water, forever for the noodles. We asked for more and we didn't receive. He only came back with food and couldn't remember who had what. Then waited awhile for him to bring us the bill. Meanwhile the table next to us ordered and received their food within the time it took for us to get the bill after he had told us to "wait a second." Watch out for the bald guy, he comes off aggressive and not welcoming at all, it felt like he was talking down to us and rushed us to order even though we were still waiting for other guests to arrive. Food is average but they are so slow! 45 mins for takeout when they said only 20 mins. Too many Chinese places around to be this sloppy.

Food was run of the mill Chinese food, the rice was cold, the Pad Thai was gross. The menu was dirty, the salt and pepper shakers were sticky, the glass partition around the booths was gross with finger prints and grease...no one came to check on drinks or anything.... not worth the 5 minute drive. I've lived in the area for a year now and am glad that I finally found a place with decent Chinese food. They serve the standard fare but it is very good and not greasy or fatty. They also have good sushi and if you get the rolls they are huge!!! The décor could use some updating but what they lack in ambience they make up for with good, reasonably priced offerings. The food is fresh and hot. My wife's steamed vegetable dish was perfect, not soggy but not overly crispy. The sauce that came with it was addictive, and she normally doesn't do sauces! My D14 dish was like a mini pu pu platter. Came hot and fresh and the crab Rangoons are the best we've ever had! Awful. Food is average at best. Customer service is less than one star. Ordered a delivery order through Beyond Menu. Stated the order would be an hour. I called after an hour and 15 minutes and was told it's on its way. 15 minutes later... Keep in mind New Ocean Palace is 5 minutes from my house... Still no order. Called again and was told most orders were 2 hours and I was "lucky" to get my order in an hour and a half. When I asked about beyond menu's 1 hour estimate I was told they have nothing to do with beyond menu! Then why use them?! Will NEVER eat at or buy from New Ocean Palace again. read more

Excellent food. The ribs are delicious, very tasty! We ordered their house Lomein , the Lomein was delicious, my favorite now in the area. We also ordered the pork fried rice and a pu pu platter for two. The rice was very good, The chicken wings were not greasy and flavorful and the egg roll was not greasy either as other places tend to have very greasy wings and egg rolls . Generous portions . Parking is simple , right outside the front door. As for the cost, they have good prices . I've read a few negative reviews about the staff and I didn't have any problems, the waiter was actually very helpful. I will return soon. read more

I love their food, and normally I never have any problems but they did something today that just really made me angry. My gf ordered sesame chicken and they delivered general tso instead. No big deal, mistakes happen. However when I called them to get the error fix, they tried to tell me that we would have to wait till all their other orders were delivered. That is just not acceptable to me. I don't expect people to be perfect, but at least own your mistakes and fix them when presented. We requested a refund. Really too bad. read more

Just made a quick stop for Crab Rangoons and Beef Teriyaki. The order was made very quickly, and all employees were very friendly. Promised me he'd put Coconut Shrimp on menu. We enjoyed the Rangoons very much, even though I like more filling. The Teriyaki was very flavorful. Will go again. read more

Great food love the sushi and general tsos

This is by far the best Asian food in the area, and we are lucky to have it. It is run by a wonderful family, and the selection of food is excellent (The sushi is wonderful). Delivery is rarely over 30 minutes, and the drivers are friendly. I have ordered from these guys once weekly for the past 3 years and my order has been wrong one time, and they made it right without hesitation. I had food delivered.. took 1hr 20mins.. was missing 1/2 my items.. when i called they told me they would "get me" next time with the food they forgot to deliver.. next time i orded, thy had no knowledge of messing up my previous order. This is our favorite place to enjoy some fresh, plentiful, and delicious Chinese food and sushi. The wings, crab rangoons, boneless ribs and beef teriyaki are favorites, as well as the lo mein, sushi, and mei fun. We've also ordered full meals and combination dishes and have not been disappointed. There is always enough to take home or save for another meal and the prices are very reasonable. In-house, the service is great and the staff is friendly, though a little slow if they are busy. They could use another waitstaff member or two during peak times. If you order your food to be delivered it does take awhile, but always less than they estimate. We were told 45 minutes on a couple of different occasions and it was fresh and hot at our door in 1/2 an hour. When we ordered sushi in-house, the sushi chef created a gorgeous picture on the plate with the sushi and sauces. Mine was a vine with flowers and my daughters was some flowering trees! The sushi was fresh and solid, delicious and not salty or mushy (as some other places can be). I recommend New Ocean Palace 100%. read more

Wow. Just possibly had the worst experience in all my 53 years of dining out. Stopped in for a quick lunch they tried to sit us in one of there dirty booths even after I had sat down at a table my husband order off their Chinese menu I ordered a 2 roll sushi 1 tuna/avocado and a crispy spicy salmon. They brought my husbands lunch and said mine would be one minute, have to admit I was disturbed that they didn't wait for both orders to be ready before serving. After 10 min of waiting and watching the "sushi chef" bull shitting and going in and out of the back I told our waiter, that still had not checked back with us and with only two other tables to service, that I would like to cancel my order. He went to the sushi station and came back immediately explaining that it was already made so I said fine then. He went back over there and I shit you not stood there for another 3 min (which is about the time it to make them) and then brings my lunch with no apologies offered. Two pieces of the tuna/avocado had no tuna and the "crispy" usually mixed with the salmon was in two clumps in the roll. I didn't not finish my lunch it was disgusting and actually became concerned that perhaps the raw fish was not handled properly based on what I had experienced and witnessed. If you want sushi I strongly suggest you don't eat at New Ocean Palace!!!!!!!!! read more
