I had a bad leak in my Cabin, it was between the Kitchen and bathroom…read more There was steam coming out of one of my cabinets! My hot water had been leaking for about a mouth. There were signs but I didn't put two and two together. By the time I found the leak, it was to late there damage to the sheetrock and insulation. There was also mildew and mold in the cabinet and everything was ruined. I called several plumbers that were listed on Yelp who's ads said they did emergency service. But it was after hours so I could only leave messages. Tyler from Todd's plumbing called me back within a few minutes! I told him the situation and that I had shut the water off. We agreed on him coming the next morning. That night I used a heater to dry out the cabinet. Tyler showed up the next morning right on time, I asked him to remove the leaky valve because it was not in use anymore. Tyler literally climbed into the cabinet and completed the repair with no problems. His price was fair, his attitude was great especially considering he was crammed into my kitchen cabinet with barely any room to work. Tyler was prompt, polite and worked very efficiently. He made no mess and was very professional, you can tell he's been in the trade for many years. And on top of everything listed above, he's a genuine down to earth nice guy! As of this review none of the other plumbers I called in South Lake Tahoe have returned my calls. Thank God for Tyler otherwise I'd still be melting snow to get enough water just to flush my toilet. It's going to cost me approx $10,000 to redo the plumbing that Jackrabbit screwed up with their use of "sharkbite" fittings on a new build !! I mean seriously, those type of fittings are used if there is a repair to a water line ... not as a first line fitting in a new home !! Shame on you for doing sub-par work and using those fittings just because they cost more so the general contractor (Ben Nichols Construction) could charge a higher price and get a bigger percentage to charge on a time and materials job !!
