Goregous gorgeous gorgeous!!! Tania is fabulous! As a first-timer, I highly recommend this place. Not a lot of bells and whistles but definitely a place to go if you like trendy and affordable nail art! Two things I will say is that I wish they did my cuticles regularly, as hitting my nail so close to the cuticle cut me. I went to get my pedicure and a full acrylic set done today. The pedicure was nice and they did a nice job. But the acrylics was awful. I didn't catch her name but she managed to make 5 of my cuticles bleed. They hurt so much and she kept being rough with them. I found nail polish on my skin that I had to take off myself when I got home. I asked for a discount and got only a couple of dollars off. Currently terrified of getting an infection and sitting with Neosporin on all of my nails. Will not be coming back. read more

I came to this salon a few days ago for a new acrylic set. I was out with Tania who was polite throughout the entire time, I've gotten the French manicure with gel along with coffin nails. It was really pretty but I wished she had done the nails a little bit more thinner as well as the French design as well. Over all I enjoyed them! I came back today because my long nails had broken off and I wanted to get them a bit shorter since I do hands-on work. I went to a small Asian woman, I forgot her name, but although she was polite, her service was unacceptable. I politely correct her mistakes that I assumed were obvious but weren't noticed until I pointed it out. Almost all of my nails weren't the same length, the French design was completely uneven and I was deeply upset. I called the salon asking if I could possibly get them removed and a refund, but Hung gave me the courtesy of doing them again for FREE! He was very meticulous about shaping the nail and thinned out the acrylic which is what I prefer. He then transferred me over to Tania who finished up the design and they turned out beautiful. read more

I've been coming to this salon 1-2 times a month for the past 3 months now. I've worked with Hung Bui, and Lee, and they were both awesome. Super friendly, professional, and willing to please clients. They were willing to let me try colors and designs on a nail before deciding on a final color (this was super helpful since I have a hard time deciding). I even fell in love with a certain style of nails and since I couldn't find something like this at their salon, Hung ordered it for me so I could get it done next time I come in!!! I'm leaving a couple pics of what I've gotten done. Only thing to say is it's not a full manicure where your hands get dipped in water and your cuticles are pushed and clipped. UNPROFESSIONAL. I called ahead of time and made an appointment with the owner for 5:30 pm for Acrylics. He told me that was fine but that I may have to wait a few minutes. That was fine by me. I don't mind waiting 5-10min. I get there a little before 5:30 pm. I patiently wait for about 15 minutes then ask him how much longer until someone starts on me. He tells me he will do my nails in a few minutes. Well, a few minutes turns into another 25 minutes. I waited for 40 minutes to get my nails done. He finally finishes up on a costumer then says he is ready to do my nails but at that time 40 min had passed I didn't have time to get my nails done now because I had someplace to be. I ended up leaving the shop PISSED AND WITH NO MANICURE. He needs to learn how to run a business. Never going back there. What was the point of making an appointment if you're not going to honor it? I needed to get some French tips done for an event and I am very satisfied with the results. They're done beautifully and just what I wanted. The store is kept clean and organized. I had the most amazing Spa Pedicure with Tonia. In fact, her pedicure was one of the best I have ever received. Her technique was flawless and her touch was gentle but firm. She even worked extra hard to make sure all the callous were removed from my heels. The Spa Pedicure was so luxurious I felt so pampered, and was so relaxing I wanted to doze off in the chair. Tonia added Lavender oil to the warm water, which added to the comfort of the pedicure. Tonia's massage technique were amazing. As a Massage Therapist myself, I can honestly say her leg and foot massage was one of the best I have ever received, outside someone who has studied Massage. Her pressure was firm yet so relaxing, and she seemed to know exactly what parts of my calf and feet needed a little extra pressure. All in all, my experience today was nothing short of amazing, and I would not only recommend a Spa Pedicure from Queen Nails, but I would also recommend you book your appointment with Tonia. I just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try as my new go to nail salon. I needed a gel polish change and was charged $15. $5 extra because I had never been there before. Not to mention the paint job was not done well. The whole nail isn't covered and the paint is lumpy with missing spots of top coat. Painting nails is the most basic fundamental part of a nail salon and if you can't do that right you shouldn't be in business. Charging extra for not being a previous customer will not get you future business. It saddens me to write this. I've been coming to queen nails for 20 years I've seen the salon go through different owners but sadly this salon has gone very down hill. I got my first manicure in this salon as well as my first full set and so on. I stopped doing my nails at this salon about a year ago. The quality just dropped. Gel manicures only lasting a few days with the prices higher than the competition, for that may as well get a regular manicure. You are probably wondering why I even kept going well the reason is Judith. She gives the most spectacular pedicure. Anyone else though and you will be rushed and still have patches on the bottoms of your feet. She does great brows as well! Unfortunately a salon is only as strong as their weakest link. The leadership and customer service has been dropped by the owner with no regard for customer retention. Last week I went in for a pedicure and Judith wasn't available the owner han told me he had someone new he trusted so I gave her a shot: she really tried I'm not saying that but again the quality ball was dropped ingrown nails left and feet felt like I did nothing. I don't Get a pedicure for that night my boyfriend to ask why my feet are so rough do you? When I brought this to Hans attention rather than fixing the problem he told me next time see Judith. I asked if he could fix my pedicure today he proceeded to tell me no and his attitude for more of an oh well rather than business tools coming into effect trying not to lose a 3rd generation client. I'm very disappointed with this establishment and beware anyone else of wasting your money: if it's not Judith or lee for nails then it's a waste. read more

Great customer service! One day after work I decided to try out new queen nails based on reviews. I called earlier in the day and scheduled a 330pm appointment. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted in such a friendly demeanor and immediately seated with a very pleasant woman, Nicole. She was so sweet and nice to me. She began filing off the gel and proceeded with my fill. At first nothing seemed amiss but as a veteran acrylic nail getter I knew she missed a few steps, filing-wise. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure if she was using a new method or if the result would be typical. By the time it was time to polish, I was very unhappy. The nails were crooked and uneven and I could tell she wanted me out of the chair ASAP and did not want her boss to notice. I could tell she was nervous, but she was so sweet I didn't want to make a big deal but I was so unhappy and my nails looked terrible. Everyone is human and deserves chances, abs I appreciated the owner correcting her work . He fixed the shape and showed her how to do it. Unfortunately the polish didn't come out great when she did it again. But like I said she was so sweet and I'm sure over time she will get better with practice and she has such a positive demeanor you just can't be mad. I'm writing this because I came back a second time to give a second chance by getting a pedicure and a color change. The owner was so accommodating and professional I genuinely appreciated it and I'm pleased this second time around. Phenomenal pedicure and great service. I would like to start by saying that there was an older woman in the salon next to me that day who looked like she was having a 5 star experience- the vietnamese woman who was assisting her was exactly what I would have liked. Kind, welcoming, and patient. Instead- I had KARINA, who was a bit of a sour pus and made my experience kind of crappy. First I had a pedicure, and since this young woman clearly had no interest in even greeting me, I decided to just lean back and not attempt at conversation. She did great on the pedicure, nice nail art too. Then I sat down to do the manicure, and she was also my girl. I wanted the powder gel nails but I guess I didn't state that clearly when I came in, so I began asking questions about the colors I was looking at to establish that was what I was getting. It was like pulling teeth- Karina would answer my direct questions but when it was clear that I wanted the powder gel (and needed to see those colors instead), she was irritated and said "that is a whole different process" in a very irritated voice (There was NO ONE waiting for service). Despite my obvious interest in changing to that process, I had to specifically ask her to bring me those colors before she got up and brought them to me without a word (but attitude screaming! We can feel these things, ya know?). I chose my color, light pink, and she began the process, but 3 nails in it was obvious to me that the color she was putting on me was highlighter pink, so I asked her if this was the right color. She impatiently said this was "the right number" although any 5 year old could tell that the color on my fingers didn't even come close to what I had picked. I debated saying nothing because she was so unpleasant, but it was an ugly color. After nicely asking her to please get the sample for me to look at- she sighed and did, at which point other workers got involved (including a man I think was the owner) and everyone agreed it was not the right color. The owner was very nice and he went to the back to find a different color that matched more what I had picked, and we resumed the nails. Karina said nothing and maintained an air of irritation- and at the end when she did some art of my nails she got sloppy and smudged one finger when testing to see if it was dry. She didn't say anything, and by this point I was so hungry and tired to, so I paid, tipped her anyway, and left. I will never go back despite the potential I could see with other nice employees. This employee, Karina, was a real black cloud on the place. I tried my best to be polite, acknowledge the bummer of inconvenience, and even thank her for taking extra time, but it won me nothing except kindness from other employees. To Karina- get a new job girl, because you clearly do not like yours, and you are spreading the bad vibes. Physically- the salon is not modern, but it appears relatively clean and I felt mostly comfortable about the physical environment. read more

I'd give a 3.5 if I could. I have been coming here with my mom and sister for years. But I think he takes advantage that I'm an easy going customer. Yes sometimes when i make appointments, i get serviced right on time. Other times, id have to wait. Today was the final straw. I called 2 days before to make an appointment for 6:30pm. I arrive 6:25 and immediately see that Judith has a customer. "Ok" i thought, maybe she was just finishing up. Wrong, there was already someone else waiting. So why do i go through the trouble of making an appointment when walk ins have priority? Ok w.e, i told him i would wait. He then tells me that it'll be about an hr wait and suggests i get a manicure with the available lady (she was so bad that i dont even want to know her name) and that i could still get my eyebrows done with Judith. I notice shes new but "Ok, sure thats fine." Big mistake. I didnt have the heart to say anything to him in the salon because he had a customer and that just looks bad.
