Worst meal ever! 8 of us for Father's Day. Unnecessarily long wait with a few meals coming out at a time. Food cold, pancakes burnt, cold rubbery omelet. Items from meals missing and were delayed in being brought out. One of us had a concern about her meal- she was given an appetizers portion, but we were charged for the entree instead. No condiments on the table. Had to ask for ketchup, salt and pepper, jelly, and syrup. When we expressed our disappointment Noone cared. $250 poorly spent. Never come here! Thus is the first negative review I have ever left for any restaurant and I am almost 50. We were all disappointed that we ate here. read more

My wife saw a post about the New Seasoned Mariner's all-you-can-eat crabs, and I had just suggested crabs earlier in the week. We decided to drive out that way and give it a try. When we arrived, we were given the choice of inside or outside seating. Since it was a nice day and they had a man-made beach on the water, we headed down to find a table. Sadly, there were no empty tables, other than one lone, tiny table in the corner without an umbrella. It was very sunny, so we decided to head in. When we asked for a table, my wife also mentioned that we didn't need menus, because we were going to have the crabs. The hostess told us that they were only serving crabs outside. We informed her about the lack of outside tables, she said "Oh, well", and let us pick our own table. We found a nice one in the corner, with a decent view of the water. Our waitress arrived, and informed us that she was also the bartender, because they were short-staffed. That did cause us some very long waits, due to her also getting some additional tables as more diners arrived. The kitchen was also incredibly slow at getting nearly everyone's food out. We waited nearly an hour for the crabs to arrive, so we made sure to request more not long afterward, so we'd have some ready before we ran out. Each tray held a dozen crabs, most of which were coated in the house seasoning. It definitely wasn't Old Bay or J.O. It wasn't bad, but we would've preferred something with a bit more flavor. Like Old Bay or J.O. The crabs themselves were pretty good though. Small/medium, full of mustard and fat, for those who like that. Not me; I gave my shells to my wife. We were both getting some fairly decent sized, sweet lumps out of them. The claws were all fairly scrawny though, and some were missing one, or both, claws. My wife had had a particularly rough week, so our waitress+bartender made my wife a special blue drink. The color almost perfectly matched her shirt, necklace, and eyes, which was also a nice touch. I had a sip or two, and it was a nice mix of sweet & tart. I started with a strawberry lemonade, which tasted just like one, but with alcohol . I was the designated driver though, so I switched to iced tea afterward. We split a flan, to help cut through some of the salt from the crabs. It was very dense; similar to a quiche, but still thicker. The flavors were all there though. A little bit eggy, with that caramel syrup, and some jellied strawberries on top. We were stuffed, so we ended up taking most of it home for later. All told, because of the very slow kitchen and our person being tied up all over the restaurant, we spent around 3 hours there. A nice, relaxing, overly-long meal. Hopefully, they can address the staffing issue for future visits. read more

met a couple friends here on a friday night seen this restaurant on instagram the patio out back is pretty cool i wish i got some picture of it. i was surprised how dead it was considering its was a friday night. The food was decent it took a little bit longer than i expected. The bar tender was pretty cool. The inside dining room looks fancy i thought i came in under dressed lmao. Won't go there again. Walked into the bar side at 430pm. I was the only one in there ( now I know why ) someone was making a drink he tasted it looked and me and said that's some good stuff... then he left. 10 min went by and I was never acknowledged by the 3 employees I saw come and go from the bathroom and kitchen. Needless to say I left without placing an order or getting a drink. Terrible way to claim to be new. Had to give 1 star although it didn't deserve it. read more

We used to go to the old Seasoned Mariner all the time. Prices were reasonable at $2.75 to $3.50 per beer, but the "new" Seasoned Mariner beers are $4.50 to $6.50. We were there in the middle of a Saturday, and were the only customers. Service was fine, even though the bartender never showed up to work, and whoever it was that served us our beers was polite, and that's the only reason I didn't give 1 star. We will never go back. read more

I wanted to like this place so much but sadly it was a miss. The only reason it's getting 3 stars is bc of the guy waiter. He wasn't assigned to our table but her gave us updates on my nephew playing in the sand & he was overall hospitable. The drinks taste like fruit punch. The appetizers & entrees took way too long to come out. By the time it came I was just ready to go home. What I did taste lacked flavor.. The view was nice tho. The expression "if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything " comes to mind. There were nine in our group and not one of us liked our food. We used to come here often when there was another owner and the food was always very good. Unfortunately that wasn't the case on Father's Day. $200 + down the drain. read more

Had been hearing good things about the new management, completely updated interior, and most importantly, the food. I drive by often and don't always notice many cars in parking lot, making me wonder why. Today (Sunday afternoon) I and a friend decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The interior is very inviting, well lit, clean, plenty of room between tables. The drink & food menu offered a variety of options, the food descriptions well done. We split the Seasoned Mariner Burger with fries and California Burrito Chicken Bowl. Burger size was ample and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle. Cooked exactly as requested (medium well) and tasted great. Burrito bowl presented very nicely, also tasty, and enough for two. Our server, Adrianna, was very pleasant and attentive. Hubby and I try really hard to like this place. Since we live in the area we attempt to eat there at least once every few months. During our last visit I ordered a margarita and I swear there was hardly any alcohol in my drink. I'm definitely a one drink girl and usually feel tipsy after a few sips. I felt nothing after finishing my drink. Hubby ordered an orange crush and had a similar opinion. He usually drinks a few but asked for water afterwards. We both ordered our meals which were tasty but unfortunately reached our table at vastly different times. My meal arrived first and I wanted to wait to eat until hubby got his food but he insisted that I start so my food wouldn't get cold. Needless to say I was finished my meal before hubby got his. He took a few bites then got the remainder to go. No explanation or apology from the server for the delay. It's tough when you're handed your check and you see the price you pay to be disappointed. We may go again but not anytime soon. read more
