As someone who eats plant-based, I really appreciated that they offer a separate vegan dinner menu--and not just a few side dishes thrown together. I could actually enjoy a full, thoughtfully prepared meal! My dinner: Muhamara + Baba Ghanouj to share Harissa Roasted Cauliflower + Saffron Jeweled Rice Pistachio Ghazal el Banat for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was exceptional again, which says a lot about the consistency of this restaurant. And although it was absolutely freezing outside that evening, Ammoora was warm, cozy, elegant, and beautiful inside. Another wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

The beef was juicy with a nice char, and the ground beef skewer was well‑seasoned with that classic kabob flavor. Portions are generous--definitely enough for a full meal and possibly leftovers if you're not super hungry. For the price, I felt like I got solid value for the amount and quality of food. Casual counter service, food came out hot and in a reasonable time. If you want a no‑nonsense, tasty kabob plate that lets you try a bit of everything, Combo #1 is an easy go‑to order here.

Who can forget that yellow building on 31st? My musings here is only to nod of the goodness that Moby offers in Persian cuisine. A few critiques if I may are the lavash is plain and the kashk wasn't warm as it should be. Perhaps fluff it a bit and consider serving differently and presentable for in store diners? I could have taken it home and placed it on a plate taking shape of the container it came in too, but why bother to waste? Also, I want to mention sabzi was not served with my entrees. The kubideh and joojeh was delicious! Tender, flavorful bursting with saffron, and my lips that char goodness! And the basmati rice generous in portion and simply light and aromatic. Don't forget the must-o-kheyar. Parking is ample but could be congested down the road as the shared businesses and property fill in. Access and mobility could be limited during busy times. Great to see Moby in Annapolis!

Right from the start, our server, Chuck, made us feel welcome. We mentioned a food allergy, and while he wanted to make sure he understood everything correctly, he quickly brought over his manager, Maria, to assist. Maria was incredibly thorough and went above and beyond, even showing me ingredient information to ensure everything was safe. That level of care and attention was greatly appreciated. For dinner, we ordered the Maryland crab soup, which was hearty, thick, and packed with flavor--not watered down at all. We also shared a side salad that was surprisingly huge and fresh. The crab cakes were outstanding, loaded with lump crab meat and served with delicious sides. We also tried the rockfish special, which was almost like a crab cake made with fish--unique, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, but the desserts we saw being served to other tables looked amazing and definitely worth trying on a future visit. Both Chuck and Maria were attentive throughout our meal, and Chuck's friendly, kind personality made the experience even better. Excellent food, outstanding service, and great attention to customer needs. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in Baltimore!
