As I sit here with partially started nails. I am a bit frustrated with this place. I started coming here based off the reviews. I was going to Hannah who did a good job but I called to reschedule and she called out sick so I went to Phi. I was not too happy with Phi's work as my nails were lumpy and the white she did wasn't very clean. I tried to schedule with Hannah again but she wasn't working that day, so I was placed with Kathy who did the best job on my pink and white nails thus far. I called to reschedule with Kathy and she no longer works there, I asked who was the best at pink and white and they referred me to Ana. Anna had started on my nails when she said it will be $65. I couldn't understand at first so she broke it down on a piece of paper for me. She wrote down $45 for basic fill, $5 for broken nail, $10 for French and then said $5 for coffin shape which I already have (and also would have been $70) I politely questioned why she's charging me to keep my current shape which she asked for a translator to help her. They asked me if I had my nails done there before, I explained how I've had to bounce around with techs and how I was never charged this amount before, so Ana said "okay you wait for Hannah to finish" and would not even continue (which I'm okay with considering the dishonesty) Kathy did amazing but is gone and Ella does a great job at pedicures but didn't clean under the nails as it states in the pedicure. Typically Ella does a wonderful job so it could have been just the combination of everything. The reason for three stars is the front desk lady stopped me as I left and apologized and wanted to rectify the situation, which I can appreciate. After which the owner Tim also stopped me and had a very polite and professional approach and wanted to fix the confusion, which shows an incredible amount of care in his customers. I would consider coming back specifically because the owner and front desk employee exuded such great customer service. read more

I'm upset because I recently moved here and found this nail spot to become my new "go to" nail salon. It was really great. They're clean and polite but i just went there this weekend and will not be returning. The woman who worked on my pedicure was scraping the gel polish off with a nail file and scraped my skin with it. (As seen in the picture) she even left little scabs and my feet don't look too cute. I'm very unhappy leaving here today and will not be returning I'm not sure if they man that did my pedicure was fairly new at his job, but I paid 52$ for a pedicure that I did not even get my toes cleaned nor the dead skin cut off I told him time and time again I wanted all the skin cut off my big toe nails have ingrown and that's what I came in for, I could have painted my nails myself also I paid 52$ for a pedicure when he set my massage timer at 5 min. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. The nail technician was great and took care with my manicure but I asked for a matte finish and my nails got a shiny topcoat. I also scheduled an appointment for 5:30 and they didn't take me in until 6, but the kicker was I saw them take a walk-in before taking me. I'm not sure if they thought they could do their nails quicker and then start mine? There was also another customer who had been waiting well past their appointment time too. I asked for them to take off and put a new set. She cut them all and by the second nail this is what happened! She sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide and tried to put pressure. The pain is horrible. The first time I came here they did an amazing job. I went back a second time this pass Wednesday 5/26/22 my appointment was at 5:00pm they finally got to me by 5:30pm. I was very disappointed with the guy who did my nails he was to busy talking with his co-worker and joking around with me about not picking my nose with my nails and stuff that he kept touching my skin and getting to deep to my nail bed with the machine. After he was finish I was not happy with my nails I decided not to get my pedicure done. By Friday my gel polish was chipping off and the shape was not almond shape you can tell where he did not file acrylic down and you can see where it's lumpy. **UPDATE** When I asked the guy doing my nails how long did he think gel would last he said 2 month. I knew he was exaggerating, but I know they should have lasted longer than a week. A week later everything is already coming off. Definitely disappointed. So I decided to try out a new nail shop and came across this cute place! It's very clean and modern inside. The staff was very friendly. While getting your nails done they offer you tea, water, coffee; I've never been to a salon that's done that! I got a gel mani and a classic pedi and paid $68. My only complaint is I got a design on one of my fingers and each design was in a different location, but no biggie. I cannot stress enough how clean this shop was. I heard great things about this place and bought two gift certificates for my mom and MIL for Mother's Day 2021. My mom said the place was really nice and the pedicure was great, but when she went to use the gift card they told her it was expired and wouldn't let her redeem it. She didn't mention it, but my mom has 45 years of experience in the legal field so she knows what she is talking about. She tried to explain to them that gift certificates purchased at a business in California cannot expire, but they wouldn't budge. I understand the gift certificate was 2 years old, but it's still against the law. Would not recommend a business that doesn't know the laws it should be following. read more

I had been wanting to get my nails done after not having them on for a while, but my old technician doesn't work at the salon I used to go to anymore. On a whim I decided to walk in about a half hour after they opened and checked in on their iPad up front, I thought it was cool they have a type of reward system where after 5 appointments you get $10 off (or something like that) The salon is super clean and modern, with a great selection of gel and regular polish. There's a big screen TV on the wall that plays travel videos and really nice piano pop music covers. It smelled sooooo good in there, I'm not sure if it's because someone was getting a spa pedicure, or if they diffuse oils or whatever, but it definitely didn't smell like chemicals, which is something I hate about some salons. I swear, the combination of the atmosphere from the music, scents, and the techs gentle hands, I almost fell asleep! That brings me to the tech and manicure itself. Like I said, Ivy had literally the most gentle hands I've ever experienced when getting a full set. Sometimes techs are so rough, I'm in actual pain during the appointment and my nails are sore for days. Not with Ivy though, she has such soft hands and paid such attention to detail with every step, starting with asking what shape I like (a natural round/almond) and confirming the first nail with me before finishing the set. All in all, this gel full set was definitely worth the $45. read more

Not only did they up charge me 20$ for the same exact stuff we got last time but did a horrible job on my nails. I asked for almond shape and they are all completely crooked. It's very unprofessional for a consumer to remind you of what to do I chose the New Star Pedicure package several steps were missed my feet soaked in water not soap he did not scrub the bottom of my feet shortly after I realized he was already painting my toes for anyone who has had a pedicure they know this doesn't sound right for the highest priced pedicure! I was so frustrated couldn't even enjoy it at this point it was more of a job to remind him and make sure he's doing what he's suppose to. I asked him how is the wax applied he obviously forgot so he did it after and said he was starting my massage at this point I'm more annoyed how are you starting a massage when my feet are in wax!? I paid top dollar for a shitty pedicure! I wanted to try and new place and this place had good reviews. I made 4 appointments for 3 manicure, a fill and pedicure for myself. The lady that did my feet was very nice and did a great job but the nail tech lady soon as she started doing my hands it was so rough that I decided to to just get a manicure. I showed her a design I wanted and she agreed she can do the design. She ended up not using the color I wanted (the color I wanted was a clear pink) she put a Barbie pink and no design. Well doing my nails my sister was next to me and I kept telling her it hurt and pulling my hand back. She did not shape my nails so they are all uneven and breaking. The texture of my nails has so many bumps. I'm just really disappointed, the over all look of the inside of the business is nice and relaxing and everyone was friendly but the nail tech and her technique has turned me off and will not go back.
