The drinks here are ridiculously sweet. They offer sweetness levels and I opted for the half sugar option of the passion fruit black tea and it was still way sweeter than any other place I've had. My cousins got the milk tea and there's barely any milk in it and the sweetness is extremely inconsistent. She ordered the same drink that she thought was too sweet last time so she ordered half sugar and now it just tastes like water. The drinks here are not good at all read more

The owners are super friendly and so willing to help you to decide what to get. They have free samples of the majority of their drinks menu. And if you don't like things too sweet, they even let you manage the amount of sweet in your drinks. I tried this croissant ham sandwich which was made to perfection. It was toasted really well and they added some mustard to it that gave it a nice kick of flavor. It felt like my mom made it. Very nice place, they display a lot antique tea-making pots and utensils. I will totally come back to this place. They have discounts all the time. This place is perfect for when your craving something good and inexpensive. read more

Definitely deserves the average rating of 5 stars. Let me be frank for a second here - boba is boba. There's bad or mediocre boba that you wouldn't go back to get, and then there's good boba. In my earnest opinion ... there's pretty no difference in taste between decent boba places. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It tastes good. The store and owner are what make the difference. The place has a very nice ambiance and really good upkeep. It'd be a great place to chill at. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. I've come to this place twice, once when I visited Houston in 2016, and once very recently after I moved to Houston. Both times, the owner told us that we could sample their many different drink types from several iced bins on the counter. When I came here in 2016, I thought maybe this was a opening promo, but I see that they put a lot of effort into their customer service, and I really commend them for it. read more

Saw the reviews and wanted to check it out. Not too far off of our normal travel areas + open until 10 PM = +2 points. The parking lot is small and might be hard to maneuver around if you drive the bigger vehicles. They do have 2 spaces right in front reserved for patrons. I walked in around 7pm and there was a party of 4 in the back area near the TV and a couple already at the register. I checked out the menu on the wall and didn't see my go to honey green tea with extra honey. I was about to order the Vietnamese coffee but decided to see if they can make my special request. I was glad that they said they could actually make my hgt and paid. The seating area is quite large for a bubble tea place. The drink itself was quite good even though it's not one of their regular concoctions. The tapioca was on the soft side and sweet if that is a plus or minus based on your preferences. Parking: The parking lot in front of the store is very tiny. But they have a sign that says you can park in the print shop's parking lot (after 5 PM I think?) or near the Chinese restaurant to its right. So have plenty of parking if the front parking lot is full. Time and Day: Came on a Sunday around 5:30 PM and it was not busy at all. Food: I ordered the taro mixed with chocolate ($4.80) and was excited to try this flavor out (I love taro flavor). However, it didn't really made a big difference to me. If I were to order this again, I would ask for more chocolate to be inserted into the drink. Otherwise, I wouldn't notice a different in it. I am happy to know that they mix different flavors for you so if you want to try something new, you have many options to create. Overall, this drink was not special compare to other tapioca flavors so it gets a 3/5. Service: The service is noticeably much better than other tapioca places. First they give you an option to sample different flavors and mixes in these little containers near the cashier (I got the tapioca mixed with chocolate). Second, they are so friendly here! I was greeted when I arrived and the owners said good bye with a nice smile to me as I was leaving. It is great to see that friendly kind of service that I usually never see at other tapioca places. Service gets a 5/5. Price: The drinks are between $4 and $5 if you are getting tapioca too. I don't see much of a difference in price between here and many places on Bellaire. Overall: This place reminds me of Kim's Teahouse but with a lot better service. The drinks are decent, but the service is very friendly and they have free samples for you to try. They really want to earn your business. Overall, this place gets a 4/5. read more

Boba is good -- hard to explain but it tastes like hookah smoke when you first bite into it but it's fine once you've become accustomed to the flavor. Baby tapioca and white tapioca are what they're meant to be, so there is no criticism there. Passion fruit green tea was a tad too sweet, but that's expected so I think 75% sugar would be a good amount. Avocado smoothie was pretty good, but lacked sweetness which I was fine with. I'd rather it be less sweet than too sweet. Jasmine milk tea, on the other hand, was subpar. For a 5-Star rating, I expected the milk tea to be better, but instead, it was watered down and not as creamy as it could've been. read more

This place is so cute. It has nice seating areas. They also have samples at the front which is perfect!! They have a large menu so it gave me an idea of what I wanted to drink. The lady who took my order was very sweet and made conversation easily. She had a full conversation with another customer as if they were best friends, recalling info from the daughter and whatnot. i have already been here 2 times already and to be honest i am not too impressed. the first time i come here cause i am on the way to my friend's house and i had the craving for cream tea. Bought 2 drinks my drink was super sweet and berely had any tapioca in it. i did not know that tapioca is that expensive since i paid double but my friend's drink is ok so i gave them benefits of the doubt to come back the second time. This time is even worse. All of our drink were bad. Honey jasmine cream tea is too sweet and watery and it looked like it only had half scoop of tapioca since we paid for full scoop. there is no word can describe to bad it is just one sip then i just thrown it away. this is the last time i will visit this "tea house". Waste of money 17 bucks for nothing. shouldn't call be "master " if you are not even be consider good. read more

My favorite tapioca place. Everything here tastes super fresh, there's samples to help you decide what you want, and the owner is super kind and helpful! There's a little nook for hanging out or reading, with books and manga too. It'd be a great place to study or work on homework in a positive environment. Genuinely friendly service, with an option to have your selection touched up if you don't like it upon initial tasting. Option 18 (oolong without cream) and tapioca made my selection. This is me and my daughters favorite spot. I usually get the Vietnamese coffee with tapioca and it's SO delicious. My daughter loves the avocado smoothie with tapioca. California born and raised! We were looking for a good spot here and found this place on Yelp. Spot on! The sweetness level on my brown sugar milk tea was on point; my girlfriend loved her fresh red (or mung?) bean smoothie. Worker was wearing a mask (I don't know if that's a big thing here :)) and customer service was friendly! Restroom is closed due to covid. 2-3 tables indoors. Seen this place on my commute home. Checked the reviews so that peaked my interest to make a pit stop one day after work First thing first the lady that works here is over the top friendly and I absolutely love it! She offered me samples right as i was walking through the door. I tried a few samples and ended up with the lychee smoothie with the regular sugar amount. You can add extra toppings aka tapioca, coffee jelly and etc. Most boba shops are kinda the same for me yet here its pretty damn good. And the service is top notch. read more

When I first came here, I didn't think the tapioca drinks tasted the way they should. They were too sweet and sugary. So I never came back. Then I guess the place got bought over or something and got a new owner cause Now the place is definitely changed. -Very clean,nice place to hang out especially since it is so close to home. I'm used to having to drive to midtown or bellaire for tapioca. The tea taste great and reminds me of Teahouse sometimes ... I was really close to a tea brewer/master at Teahouse on Shepherd. He was really kind, had great customer service and was the one that came up with alot of the teas on their menu. I didn't see him for a really long time...Come to find out, Ling owns Tapioca Master now!!! Ling and his family have got to be the reason for the changes at Tapioca Master. But anyways, they have many different drink options to choose from that taste yummy! The environment is extremely welcoming and my family has gone there all the time and have never left with anything bad to say. If you come there often enough, they start to know you by name. The most AMAZING watermelon+mango+peach smoothie! Be sure to add the tapioca! I am hooked! Such a friendly place to hang out or just sit back and enjoy cream tea, milk tea, green tea, black tea, smoothies, slushies, coffee/chocolate, and fresh squeezed juice! Sinkers are always fun too!
