Last night, 12 hours before my reserved pickup time they cancelled my reservation stating they could not charge the barter program we both belong too. Where do I begin? Can I rate you more than 5 Stars? I needed a Car Service for an important meeting in Walnut Creek on a short notice. Without hesitation I forwarded the details to the Firm who would be setting up the ride to and from Saratoga. Scott the Owner is such a pleasure to deal with. He brings customer service to a whole new level. I work in Tourism Research and Development and know how much hiring a reliable service can make or break the deal. Today at 10:45 AM 30 minutes before my ride Bryan texted me to say that he was already at my pickup point. I told him I was ready and he was waiting on my driveway in a Chrysler 300 Sedan for my ride to and from Walnut Creek. Normally I listen to music and I do so for maybe 10 minutes but then I felt that Bryan is the type of person who would love to chat with. We had such a great conversation going to and from Walnut Creek that I could not believe we were already there. He waited while I conducted the first part of the business agenda and then when we were ready for lunch he was there to take us to Downtown Walnut Creek for lunch. And when we were finished he was there waiting for us. Each time he offered us cold bottled water. We then returned to the office where I finished up the Business and there again like magic Bryan was ready for me to take me back home. What could have been a stressful day turned out to be so smooth. He has driven some high profile clients and he drives with grace and is very safe. I learned a lot about how to navigate our hectic roads thanks to him. As we were nearing my Home Bryan's car was getting a flat tire and he made it to my house and had to wait for Scott the owner to help him change it. Let me tell you I saw Scott change the tire from my Bay Window and I can tell how much he cares about his employees and clients. I sure hope they got a new tire on the vehicle soon! Bryan told me from the get go that he does this job for fun as a "side kick" so this alone made me sense his true passion for driving me! I was dealing with Deep for an event and he was super pleasant at first. He said to email him and he would figure some things out and get back to me. I waited a couple days and sent him another email. No response. I called again to follow up just in case he wasn't getting his email. He said he got the emails and if he could call me back in a few hours as he was in the middle of something. Needless to say he has ghosted me and did not follow up as he said he would. we've used them one time they were late made all the excuses in the world cause my neighbor, total grief by not showing up on time, and then not only charged us Double the stated price but came back and charge our credit cards again! Run, from this company. DO NOT USE. They canceled a airport pick up with no call. Deep the owner, untrustworthy, trips over his own lies. So here is the whole story. I booked this 2 weeks ago through a trade company, DELT WITH DEEP PERSONALLY. He told the booking Company 2 days before that one of his cars was in a accident and he couldn't give. Me a ride. Booking company told HIM to cancel it. The booking company calls me 15 minutes before hey I am making sure that he got ahold of you. Well no no he didn't, and my pick up waited 2 hours at the airport.. I call Deep, obviously very upset. He tries to blame the booking company. I offered to three way call to see who's to blame, he balked at that. He also told me that a driver. Got sick and couldn't drive, and at. The end of the convo realizes he told a different story to the booking company: and. Corrects Himself saying oh we lost a car in an accident.. so here is the final. My wife and I first used New West Limo for our wedding, in 1990. We have used them ever since. Most recently, they took us to the airport for early flights. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 7:15AM. When we booked we asked to be picked up at 4:40 AM. The driver was EARLY! That bought us a couple more minutes for which we were very thankful. We arranged a car to pick up our son (he returned ahead of us). His flight was delayed by more than 90 minutes due to poorly behaved passengers. We notified New West. Their driver was there to meet our son at 11:30 PM (instead of 10:00 PM). No worries, no hassles. When my wife and I returned, not all of our luggage made it with us. The driver, who was waiting in baggage claim, helped us put in a claim and never pressured us about time (even though he had a pick up 60 miles away later in the evening). I recently had a 6 passenger limo pick up our bridal party for our wedding and of course we decided to get married on the hottest day of the year June 18, 2017. 103 degree weather. Our limo had no AC and the driver was not friendly at all. Paid for 3 hours but only got 2. We just stuck it out because we had no choice. It was our wedding day and needed transportation. Scott contacted me immediately that day without me even getting a chance to mention anything and apologized and refunded us our money 100% without asking.. now that's customer service. The company I work for does have other car services available, with negotiated rates, however, they are typically more expensive and have poor to mediocre customer service. He arrived early at our home, and navigated the city very well - dropping us off for dinner, and finding us easily after our concert. While we were out of the car, he even went out of his way to make sure we had some snacks/drinks for the drive home. We used New West Limo a year or so ago to transport my son's 89-year-old grandmother to his wedding. The one-way trip of about 15 miles (Saratoga to Santa Clara) cost $60, and the driver was courteous and prompt. He remained nearby and returned to take her home about four hours later. Following that experience, we thought we'd use the same company to transport a family contingent to the funeral of our son. This time, the one-way trip of about 2 miles (Saratoga to Los Gatos) cost over $110. The return trip was only 90 minutes later, and it was not until I saw the credit card billing over a month later that I realized that the transport was billed in each direction. The billing came to almost $225.(!) Nothing in the original paperwork or phone conversation made any mention of billing the return trip separately. When I called to complain, the owner of New West pretty much blew me off, telling me to "call any other Limo company and see what they charge". The funeral home had offered to provide limo service for much less. In retrospect, I should have taken them up on their offer. read more
