Gluten free plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Back two bagels are not gluten free.
Jordyn N.

Gluten Free Review: (Disclaimer - I do not have Celiacs. Just gluten free by choice for other reasons.) They have a plain bagel and everything bagel that come gluten free! They also have a couple gluten free muffin options as well. I got a plain with strawberry cream cheese. Obviously not as good as a regular bagel (don't necessarily expect it to be), but the fact that they even had it as an option is great in my opinion. I think next time I won't get it toasted, as I think that may have dried it out a little bit. They also have breakfast bagels sandwiches that you can have on a gluten free bagel. Iced chai was great as well. Clean establishment. Fast service. And a drive thru!

Very good experience! The guy in the back was running the kitchen like the Navy which was impressive. Staff was friendly and the service was very good. Bagels were huge and fresh and the place as a whole had a good vibe!

Let me just start with this, this business is amazing! Me and my family come here every Sunday and their food never disappoints. We are so glad to have a New York Bagel in Tulsa. Also, the employees here are very nice. This particular New York Bagel is located In an amazing spot and has a great ambiance. I absolutely love this place and I highly recommend it.

Under baked bagel sandwich, deconstructed to see the complete lack of a crumb structure.

I used to love this place, but over the course of the last few months, the quality has been so bad I can't even finish a meal. Every time I go now, the bagels are under baked and doughy, rendering them completely disgusting and inedible. PLEASE train your bakers properly! This is truly pathetic. You're a bagel shop for crying out loud. Leave them in the oven until they start to brown. You're supposed to have a crumb structure on the inside, not soft mushy dough.

1/4 of a Garlic bagel w onion and chive cream cheese

This was one of our go-to spots ten years ago in college, and I'm glad to report it still holds up today. Great assortment of bagels and pastries, and the staff were so friendly and patient. Bagels were delicious, but by the next morning a bit chewy, so make sure to seal extra well. The real can't-miss item is their cream cheese...I used to only ever get regular so I was blown away to discover real sliced red onion and chives in mine, and our blueberry cream cheese to go was a beautiful deep purple with real berries in it...amazing. Their sandwiches are good, but I highly recommend a toasted bagel w cream cheese because they pile it on heavy and the result is HEAVEN. Their chai was good, too! No powdery remnants at the bottom like many coffee shops have. But it was screamin' hot for a long time after leaving the shop.

Oh yes. Any time I'm in Tulsa in the AM then NYBC is a must. You'd think someone in DFW would make a good bagel (ive not yet tried them all) but the good people of Tulsa absolutely have a good bagel. They have color and texture to them and both chewy and crunchy. The coatings are prolific and the schemer sublime. Their other baked goods are tops too. Super nice folks. Eat it!

So this is now called New York Bagel Cafe otherwise it is the same as before the name change. The Bagels here are very good with many topping options. There are lots of sweet treats here too including cookies, cinnamon rolls and muffins. Although the cookies look delectable I often feel underwhelmed as some are too sugary depending on which ones you choose. I love the salads and sandwiches. I often get the "You pick 2" and my favorite is a 1/2 turkey sandwich (Lil' Turkey) on whole wheat bread and a 1/2 chef salad. Don't let the 1/2 of each fool you, it's quite a satisfying meal. The lettuce is always fresh and I rarely see any brown slimy lettuce. Several styles and flavours of coffee are available as well as soda, cold and hot tea, all self service. There's some covered outdoor seating that is dog friendly. The Brookside location on South Peoria is getting pretty dated inside whereas the other location , 6805 S Yale Ave, it's much nicer inside with fireplaces in the winter and a very nice large outdoor seating area.

Not the best bagels ever but pretty damn good for the price. Cookies were also very good. Simple and delicious. Quick service.

Love this place! Wish they had more locations. It's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu really. The CHOCOLATE MUFFIN is seriously one of the best I have had...it's more like a cake so it's definitely a treat.

Everything bagel

This place is so inconsistent. I've been coming for over 10 years and some times you get a decent bagel but most of the time they're flat and underwhelming. Look at this everything bagel. There's like 5 poppyseeds and 10 sesame seeds. Tragic. I quit getting them toasted there years ago because it's barely toasted (and that's when the toaster isn't broken) These are absolutely nothing like bagels you get in New York. That state should sue for defamation. Such a bummer.

Brooklyn bomber

This is one of my favorite bagel places in town. Their breakfast sandwiches are great but today I had one of their lunch sandwiches and it was really good. I got the Brooklyn bomber which has pastrami cheese and spicy mustard. The sandwich is huge and a great price and there's so many sandwiches to choose from everyone can find some thing they like

Chicken Sandwich on Toasted Garlic Bagel
Austin M.

I tried this for the first time. I got the chicken sandwich on a toasted garlic bagel, the firecracker on a toasted jalapeño cheese bagel, a warm cinnamon roll, and a large drink. The chicken sandwich was ok, but not very flavorful. The firecracker was pretty good, the chorizo and egg had goof flavor and the bagels, on each sandwich tasted nice. Finally, the cinnamon roll was very good and very gooey. 10/10 cinnamon roll

As the sandwiches are listed on the menu, you're asked (at the register) if you'd like whatever fixings that go with the sandwich. I got the Turkey and Cheese with lettuce & pickles, I added jalapeños & jalapeño sauce. I liked the creamy Italian sauce too. The sandwich was stacked. Plenty of turkey, plenty of lettuce, plenty of pickles and jalapeños. The sauce was there and wasn't an overload, just the right amount. The sandwiches come in small or large & I'm glad I got the small. The combos come with chips and a drink, they have one of my favorite chip brands, Miss Vickie's (Spicy Dill Pickle is an automatic pick for me). I wish I got the name of the dude who took my order. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The food wasn't very good in my opinion. I chose the turkey sandwich. Although the turkey was real turkey breast, not deli meat, it didn't have a lot of flavor. There also weren't a lot of toppings, and bread ratio was too bready. There isn't an option to "build your own" like Jersey Mikes or Subway, so you're kind of stuck with what you get. It wasn't awful, just not that good. Service made up for mediocre food.

Place is small with six or so tables. Got home with our sandwiches. My Italian Sub was SO WET AND SOGGY! The lettuce and thinly sliced tomato were drenched in some unidentified liquid substance. I pulled all of the let out of the sub. Leaving me with a bun that was falling apart. Torn off about half of the top and bottom of the bun. Flavor of meat was okay at its best. I ate one half Wife's Homemade Turkey sub was bland and tasteless. She ate 1/3 of one half. Two bags of chips were the hit of the meal. $29.60 wasted. Can't say we didn't try.
