Very good experience! The guy in the back was running the kitchen like the Navy which was impressive. Staff was friendly and the service was very good. Bagels were huge and fresh and the place as a whole had a good vibe!

New York Bagel Café in Brookside has earned its stripes with some great New York-style bagels. I'm a fan of their pepperjack breakfast bagel sandwich with turkey sausage, and I really appreciate that they don't hit you with extra charges for pork alternatives, unlike many other places. Now, let's talk logistics. It can get pretty busy, and parking can be a bit of a challenge. But hey, for those bagels, it's usually worth the effort. The vibe inside is lively, which is cool if you're there for a social hangout, but not the best if you're aiming to study or do remote work. The music tends to be on the louder side, making it less conducive for those seeking a quieter environment. If you're in the mood for a more relaxed setting, I'd recommend checking out their South Tulsa location. This place dishes out tasty bagels and a great breakfast sandwich, and the fact that they keep prices steady for pork alternatives is a definite plus. Four stars from me, with a tip to choose the South Tulsa spot if you're in need of a quieter space.

Let me just start with this, this business is amazing! Me and my family come here every Sunday and their food never disappoints. We are so glad to have a New York Bagel in Tulsa. Also, the employees here are very nice. This particular New York Bagel is located In an amazing spot and has a great ambiance. I absolutely love this place and I highly recommend it.

This was one of our go-to spots ten years ago in college, and I'm glad to report it still holds up today. Great assortment of bagels and pastries, and the staff were so friendly and patient. Bagels were delicious, but by the next morning a bit chewy, so make sure to seal extra well. The real can't-miss item is their cream cheese...I used to only ever get regular so I was blown away to discover real sliced red onion and chives in mine, and our blueberry cream cheese to go was a beautiful deep purple with real berries in it...amazing. Their sandwiches are good, but I highly recommend a toasted bagel w cream cheese because they pile it on heavy and the result is HEAVEN. Their chai was good, too! No powdery remnants at the bottom like many coffee shops have. But it was screamin' hot for a long time after leaving the shop.

I used to love this place, but over the course of the last few months, the quality has been so bad I can't even finish a meal. Every time I go now, the bagels are under baked and doughy, rendering them completely disgusting and inedible. PLEASE train your bakers properly! This is truly pathetic. You're a bagel shop for crying out loud. Leave them in the oven until they start to brown. You're supposed to have a crumb structure on the inside, not soft mushy dough.

Oh yes. Any time I'm in Tulsa in the AM then NYBC is a must. You'd think someone in DFW would make a good bagel (ive not yet tried them all) but the good people of Tulsa absolutely have a good bagel. They have color and texture to them and both chewy and crunchy. The coatings are prolific and the schemer sublime. Their other baked goods are tops too. Super nice folks. Eat it!

So this is now called New York Bagel Cafe otherwise it is the same as before the name change. The Bagels here are very good with many topping options. There are lots of sweet treats here too including cookies, cinnamon rolls and muffins. Although the cookies look delectable I often feel underwhelmed as some are too sugary depending on which ones you choose. I love the salads and sandwiches. I often get the "You pick 2" and my favorite is a 1/2 turkey sandwich (Lil' Turkey) on whole wheat bread and a 1/2 chef salad. Don't let the 1/2 of each fool you, it's quite a satisfying meal. The lettuce is always fresh and I rarely see any brown slimy lettuce. Several styles and flavours of coffee are available as well as soda, cold and hot tea, all self service. There's some covered outdoor seating that is dog friendly. The Brookside location on South Peoria is getting pretty dated inside whereas the other location , 6805 S Yale Ave, it's much nicer inside with fireplaces in the winter and a very nice large outdoor seating area.

Not the best bagels ever but pretty damn good for the price. Cookies were also very good. Simple and delicious. Quick service.

Love this place! Wish they had more locations. It's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu really. The CHOCOLATE MUFFIN is seriously one of the best I have had...it's more like a cake so it's definitely a treat.

This place is so inconsistent. I've been coming for over 10 years and some times you get a decent bagel but most of the time they're flat and underwhelming. Look at this everything bagel. There's like 5 poppyseeds and 10 sesame seeds. Tragic. I quit getting them toasted there years ago because it's barely toasted (and that's when the toaster isn't broken) These are absolutely nothing like bagels you get in New York. That state should sue for defamation. Such a bummer.

I'm a bit of a macaron enthusiast and I struggle to find a good one that truly has the taste, texture and flavors of a truly well made macaron. Antoinette Bakery has the best I've ever had. Additionally, the other treats we tried were sweet but not overly so in which I appreciated. The staff was helpful when we were looking for suggestions and had questions and the whole place had this modern French bakery feel that I adored. I cannot wait to go back and try more items like a loaf of fresh sourdough bread.

We split a slice of the passion fruit chocolate pie along with a couple of regular drip coffees. (Of course, we had to get some of the orange-chocolate chip cookies to go.) I liked the pie. Interesting flavors. The chocolate chips did not overpower the subtle passion fruit cream. It was served a bit haphazard though (but that's just me being picky). My biggest complaint was with the coffee and some of the service. I guess I will order an Americano or something next time because the drip coffee was luke warm at best. We were bussing our own table and one of the staff didn't even seem to know what to do with our dishes. Nobody was overly friendly. Maybe they were just prepping for the onslaught of First Friday-ers. Just off night perhaps.

Tulsa said "plot twist" and honestly, I respect it. I hit the Coffee House on Cherry Street and was immediately greeted by a lineup of pies, cakes and muffins that made me salivate like I hadn't eaten in days. I behaved myself and ordered an iced Americano with an extra shot, a splash of cream, and a little sugar. It was smooth, not burnt or bitter. My friends grabbed a sandwich, chips, and a cookie for $15 and walked out full, happy, and bragging about how good everything was. The sandwiches, I'm told, were savory and judging by how silent they were while they devoured their turkey delights, I believed them. And now I have plans to return for my anniversary because I spotted a slice of German chocolate cake that could easily be shared with some to spare. On the positive side, the space itself is very nice and inviting. Service is great. I just wish the coffee had been stronger and more flavorful.
