Even though I could carry him in, as he's friendly and quiet, the sign makes it clear. I haven't asked about an exception since the rule is prominently displayed. As a result, I often find myself getting coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, which I don't prefer, instead of enjoying my macarons and spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.
