We made a road trip after seeing this on the Phantom and well worth it from Plymouth to Raynham. The bar has a great vibe, daily and weekly specials listed on the blackboard. We started with the deviled eggs, yes and they delivered with flavor and presentation but the pastrami Reuben was the standout -- insanely tender, packed with flavor, and clearly smoked with care. Melt-in-your-mouth good. The burger was just as impressive: juicy, perfectly cooked, and tasted like a real, homemade BBQ burger, not some frozen patty. Don't sleep on the homemade cornbread either -- moist, flavorful, and the perfect side to round everything out. We sat at the bar, bartender and staff are super friendly and offered some suggestions. Ok I LOVE, love love love their cornbread! It's one of the best I had. It's crispy all over and super moist on the inside. The drinks were really well. I had the chicken pot pie which had good flavor and was hearty. The pulled pork poutine is also great but I'm partial to poutine usually but theirs is loaded with just goodness. Live around the corner from 2 Jerks and drive by all the time... Finally decided to stop in one night. BBQ with the hubby is sometimes hit or miss (He doesnt eat pork) and some places cross cook so we are hesitant... But we headed over one day and ordered all the things. OMG the wings are GOOD!!! Probably one of the best Southern BBQ joints I've visited in Massachusetts, despite how it is quite the hike from the general Boston area. Still, was worth the trip. Anyway, we went here for our wedding rehearsal lunch and called ahead to book our large party - and everyone enjoyed the meats and fixins, especially those who've enjoyed Southern-styled BBQ in the past. Wow my overstuffed belly is a true testament to not only how great the food was but also the portion sizes. The restaurant was packed when we walked in but only needed to wait 10 mins to be offered a seat but we were starving so we took the bar seats and were welcomed by the sweetest bartender. The license plates on the walls reminded me of Martin's bbq in Nashville and I loved the picnic table seating. The Texas Twinkie's caught our eye immediately and the borscht soup special were great starters. I have to applaud them on their cornbread it was moist with crispy edges and paired with cinnamon button made it exceptional. We got a half rack of ribs pork belly and pulled pork for meats and the frito pie Mac and cheese, kimchi and slaw as sides. Needless to say we have plenty of leftovers and left with smiles on our faces. The service was excellent, meats were cooked perfectly and the homemade bbq sauce was A+++. Two drinks two apps two huge meals and two desserts for under a $100 is a great deal in this age and I've got enough leftovers for a 3rd and 4th meal. read more

Like this place a lot in my area. Have gone there several times and it seems each time they get better and better. They are constantly rotating their beer selection, so it gives you great opportunities to try new ones or maybe ones that you had an interest. Food is always amazing! No complaints with the service but on some days they can be understaffed if they are really slammed on a typical off day. This was a fun yelp find. This spot has been opened for about 3 years but the building is a lot older. Cool and relaxed atmosphere with a large selection of liquors, beers and microbrews. Super friendly service while I sat at the bar. I had a combo with cornbread, bbq beans, collared greens, pulled pork and brisket. The cornbread was decent with a firm crust and was firm but not burned. The beans and collared greens were spot on and served icing hot. The brisket was super tender and moist with a decent bark and not too fatty. The highlight for me was the pulled pork. Super tasty. By far one of the best BBQ joints I've had the pleasure to visit. While I haven't taken advantage of their special nights yet (which I've heard are amazing) my handful of times enjoying 2 Jerks has left me craving. Fairly priced and never disappointing. Their rotating sausage selection is great (my absolute fave has been the Szechwan sausage) - tender brisket - amazing pulled pork - and the corn bread/butter is off the charts good. All the places were mid or questionable, but this one place, 2 Jerks BBQ, had fantastic reviews with great pictures. The problem is that it was 20 minutes south and out if the way to go to on my way home. I didn't care, and decided to pull the trigger. If a BBQ place looks like this, you know it's going to be awesome. I went with the 2-Meat Combo with 2 sides; Brisket, Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Corn Bread. They also gave 3 different BBQ sauces and the red'ish one was a Hot BBQ sauce that was awesome. This really hit the spot and was as advertised. As for BBQ in New England, this place is Tops. Atmosphere is just want you want. Waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. She was working alone for the lunch crowd and was on top of things. I judge a BBQ restaurant by its Brisket. 2 Jerks was spot on. Moist, flavorful and delicious. Ribs were also terrific, cooked perfectly. Only slight complaint were beans were tasteless and watery. Other that that is you are in area of 2 Jerks and have a craving for BBQ you can't go wrong. I almost forgot they start your meal out with sweet and tasty corn bread.
