Good bagel spot and coffee to have before going to hike around mt tamalpais or marin county etc. luckily this spot was open at 6:30 but officially 7am. The bagels were getting stocked as well as coffee. Bagels were good, they had a different taste to them compared to noahs. Coffee was great. I love the generous amount of shmear per bagel.

Got a bagel sandwich which was good, the service was fast and quick! Prices were very reasonable, I will go back.

New York Bagels generously donated a huge variety of bagels to our theater group, and we couldn't have been more grateful. They were incredibly kind and even offered to give us more than we could carry. The bagels were still wonderfully fresh, and our entire team was delighted to have them. It meant so much to feel this level of generosity and support for local theater--thank you!

Decent bagels and super quick service. I got a bagel with turkey and cheese and it somehow ended up being $10 which is kinda crazy. Was a solid bagel and I'd come by again if I'm nearby, but def wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

    Everything bagel with cream cheese

My partner was so excited to find this place. He is from the east coast (NY specially) and so always complains about how the bagels and the pizza are lacking here. But this is the first place where he said the bagels were pretty decent and the best he's found in the area. He said that it doesn't quite meet NY standards but still liked it so much that he bought an extra half dozen bagels during our visit for his work friends from New York who have also missed the bagels. We live kind of far from here but would definitely be back the next time we are in the area. The lines can get pretty long here in the mornings but there's plenty of parking in the lot. There's also little seating in the shop, only about 4-5 small tables.

Walking into a warm watering smell of goodness. Ordered the Cheese beagle breakfast with bacon and American cheese. Delicious and my tummy stopped rumbling. Wash it it down with a hot French vanilla cup of fresh made coffee.

Though the wait was long, the bagels were fluffy and delicious. The bacon egg and cheese sandwiches looked like they were just reheated egg, which is why I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, which was fantastic! They had fun cream cheese flavors, like strawberry and maple walnut which were very sweet.

Lox sandwich w/ salt bagel, everything bagel, and poppy bagel.

Super expensive $5 for a puffy bagel. $7.50 with cream cheese, ridiculous for mediocre quality

The guys behind the counter aren't the most attentive, but the bagel itself is as good as you're gonna get in Marin.

The scene is very '70s hippie like with bad art indiscriminately placed with no sense of aesthetic. A bit of a cleanup is in order and a little more attention to detail could spruce it up. But, there certainly is charm in its current state. Simply a great product at a low price point and fast, friendly service. Get your coffee next-door to avoid the air pot pump offerings here. Every time I read a publication that touts a place as having the "best bagel" I think to myself,…read more"it's a bagel. They're all the same". Well, it's taken until now for me to finally learn that they're not all the same: Noah's Bagels are not as good as Barton's Bagels and I feel confident in that statement. I was a bit put off by the fact that Noah's didn't have salt bagels, my favorite and opted instead for an "everything" bagel, lightly toasted and served with their shmear that (supposedly) contains onions and chives. Everything about this order was middling. Neither bad nor good, and if there were any onions or chives in that shmear I couldn't taste them. Based on this single bagel I'd say that Noah's version is airier than the bagel from Barton's. Between that and the flavorless shmear I learned my lesson: all bagels are not created equal. Noah's was adequate but as I rode my bike past Barton's en route home I couldn't help wishing I'd been willing to wait.
