Came for dinner on a Monday. It was busier than expected so we hadn't tried making reservations, but we were able to wait at the bar before being seated. Had Tom and Jerry cocktails. I had heard of them but never had one, it was great. Had the club on rye for dinner and French onion soup. Both were delicious. The fries were handcut and great.

Glen Park Tavern is the definition of a 'neighborhood tavern' that just happens to have great food. We met friends there for lunch. We all started with soup, lobster bisque and French onion. I had the French onion. It was flavored nicely & had the a nice amount of melted cheese. My friends then seemed to enjoy their sandwiches and rest of their food. My husband ordered a reuben & devoured it. Guess he liked it too. :( I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich topped with a stuffed banana pepper. It was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. The chicken was nice & tender with Cajun seasoning. The stuffed hot pepper on top was actually the perfect topping. The pepper gave it a nice kick & the cheese stuffing added a great flavor. It was also served with house made fries. Where's my picture??? Looking forward to going back to check out more items on their menu. 2025-93

Wow! I've been living in Williamsville for over 30 years and somehow have never been to the Glen Park Tavern. I can't believe what I have been missing. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. I ordered the Reuben on Marble Rye with Fries and a cup of French Onion Soup. Before the pandemic i was on a quest to find both the best Reuben and the best French Onion Soup in Western New York. I traveled all over the area trying many places. Little did I know that the best of both is just a short distance away from my home in my own town. The main criteria I use to rate Reubens is not only taste but the order the ingredients are built in the sandwich. Most places make the big mistake of putting the sauerkraut directly on the bottom slice of bread, always making one side of the sandwich soggy. Here they put the melted cheese on first then the sauerkraut leaving both slices of grilled bread nice and crisp. The main two criteria I use to judge French Onion Soup ore melted cheese coverage on top and the richness and flavor of the broth. Many paces just use thin over salted colored water but not here. The broth is rich, flavorful and not over salted. Glen Park Tavern wins both quests. Try them out yourself.

As the saying goes, when in Rome... I had to sample the Buffalo regional delight of Beef on Weck, as I was told the Glen Park Tavern is the best! The place was jammin' busy for holiday gatherings, so I assumed a rare open seat at the bar top. I ordered the William Mattar which was a sampler platter of a Weck, Wings, and fries. The roast beef on the Weck was over-the-top tender. Wings had a nice crisp. The French Onion soup as a prelude was also worthy. The tavern had a warm, homey vibe, complete with friendly staff. Phil the bartender provided pleasant service, and a couple of older gentlemen regulars were fun to chat with. I am happy to say, I will def return to the Glen Park when working in Buffalo (hopefully Summer next time).

We had a great dinner here ton. The waitress was super nice and the restaurant was super busy. It has been around a long time and it is quint and the bar was hopping. It is St. Patrick's Day tom after all. The food was super good and the portions were generous. We had corned beef and cabbage of course. They have a varied menu and the prices are good. They sadly dont do happy hr. Go here if u want a very comfortable, cozy experience with a cozy feel.

Nice, comfy, classic old tavern! We both got the Rueben's A fair amount of delicious , tender corn beef , sauerkraut and Swiss cheese grilled perfectly! Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were great! Very friendly, personable service!

Haven't been here in ages and went at 2 pm the Monday before new years. Wow. It was packed! Lucky I made a reservation and was seated soon after arriving. This is not a place for a quiet meal or a fast one, it has a city vibe somehow but in a " cheers" kind of way. I don't eat red meat but there were many things to chose from. Turkey burger, fresh carved turkey, or my selection- Turkey and Brie. I started w a cup of lobster bisque- hot and w the perfect amount of sherry. My fried had the beef on weck and French onion soup, which had plenty of cheese. No complaints other than I would have liked to have had something on the sandwich like apple or fig jam as it was a bit dry Both served w fries and a pickle on a costanzas roll ( IYKYK) . Service was friendly but she was busy! Glad I revisited and will be back! You should give it a go.

Thumbs up! We went on a busy mid-day Saturday and came back for lunch on Monday. Food is great- service quick- we had: the stuffed peppers. as appetizer the meat loaf with mashed potatoes and green beans, the Crystal cobb salad ( crab meat) , the fish plate and a Tom and Jerry ( a must!!), the beef on Weck. Thank you to all servers for being so attentive and giving us hints on other local businesses.

Old reliable. Good food, reasonable prices. Busy during dinner hour but we were seated quickly. Loud atmosphere. Service is helpful & quick.

Beef on weck, home made chips, horse radish and au jus. I realize the picture does do right to the huge amount of beef on the roll.

The place was zooming when we stopped by for lunch. They are famous for their Beef on Weck, so that was my to go to choice. I didn't regret it, it is indeed a wonderful dish. A nice Kimmelweck roll stacked with a lot of fresh cut and thin sliced beef, medium rare! Perfection on a roll. It comes with chips; fries or sweet potato fries are extra. Now I understand why they were so busy; their food is excellent.

Amazing turkey sandwich and meatloaf dinners mmmm so tender and flavorful

Best hot roast beef sandwich in Buffalo. Best juiciest most tender beef on weck in Buffalo. Best au jus in Buffalo. In the top 20 for wings in Buffalo. Absolutely delicious turkey sandwich. Solid fries. Solid ranch. Very clean nice old school Irish family style place with big wooden chairs, wood molding, wood bar, wood beams on the ceiling... cozy and comfy. Thankfully there's a shared lot to park in instead of just street in the busy area. Nice staff.

Never seen that before but it was really tasty. The bartender recommended a roast poblano cheese soup as a side and I swear I could live on that soup alone! The bartender and her buddy were super friendly and just the right amount of chatty. I told them I was coming back to Buffalo to catch a flight later in the week and they gave me a BOGO coupon. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! We traveled a very far distance to enjoy Campfire Grill, and often the line for tables goes out the door. Today I ordered one of the specialty breakfasts, the Breakfast Flatbread which is two eggs, hollandaise, bacon, spinach, and Roma tomatoes over a crispy flatbread. I'm going to go out on a limb say this is now my most favorite breakfast. This dish comes with a choice of campfire potatoes or fresh fruit cup. Today I ordered the fresh fruit cup, and it was very delicious. Fresh grapes, pineapple, and melons. I would order this again. My husband ordered the cattle melt. This has to be seen to be believed. It's a mountain of a breakfast sandwich. Loaded high with sliced roast beef, two eggs, melted cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions all stacked up on a grilled thick cut sourdough bread. It was so huge, that he had to bring half of it home in a box. He thoroughly enjoyed this melt sandwich. Finally, we also ordered the Griddle Toast Logs because, frankly this is the real reason we come to Campfire Grill. French toast slices rolled around a core of fresh, strawberries, and sweet and cream cheese, grilled crisp, and covered with more whipped cream and fresh berries. Truth be told, we could not even dive into them until we got home because we were so full with our entrées.. But they didn't last more than a few minutes after we returned home. The decor is reminiscent of our days of family camping trips, which always featured over the top breakfast, and very indulgent campfire menus. Posters on the walls included, moose, fish, bears. Really takes us back to our childhood vacations in the woods.
