The tiki bar and picnic grove.

Especially in the summer, Stockman's is a fantastic place to hang out. with the whole family. Watch for a day when there's live music at the Tiki Bar and Picnic Grove, located on the five acres behind the main bar (which is in a great old house). This past Sunday, they had Black Rock Zydeco--fun music! The place was packed with folks of all ages. Kids were playing in a sprinkler that was set up for them and the tiki bar was full (but service was still good); other folks were chilling out at umbrella tables or finding shade under huge weeping willows. There are even horseshoe pits. It's a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. (I'm not always a big mingler, but I actually met new people here!) To top it off, they have great food. I recommend the brick-oven fired pizza, made to order for you at their outdoor pizza bar/oven. Lots of VEGETARIAN options--but I had them throw on everything but the meat ($12) and it was delicious. I can't think of a single thing I'd change about it.

One of the diviest dives in the U.S.! If you can handle the bathroom's cloth towel machine that hasn't been changed since the mid-80s, this bar is great! Not sure I would eat the food, but it's a great, cheap spot for drinks. I'm sure this place has been here forever, but I just discovered it on my last trip to Buffalo! While the outdoor area -called the Grove/Tiki Bar- is great, I'm partial to the seedy inside bar. Its got a pool table, dart board, juke box and Megatouch (with my fav Little Shop of Treasures game). I loved the Labatt Shandy, offered in the summer, which go down so easy! If you are looking for a casual spot for some drinks, this place is worth checking out! The outside bar closes around 11 or midnight, so come early if you want to enjoy a drink by the fire pit.

This place was so gross. Dirty floors, dirty workers, filthy bathrooms. I left immediately.

There is an outdoor patio to enjoy during warm weather, which I will be sure to check out again this summer. Village of Williamsville favorite and I'm glad I finally tried it. Food 4/5- it's not a place that you come for dinner. But if you'd like to have a side with your beer or cider, there are a few selections. I ordered from the daily special menu a grilled cheese sandwich with buffalo chicken inside with chips $5.00 not bad. You really come here for the alcoholic drink so keep that in mind. I had a glass of white wine since I'm not a beer drinker. Service 5/5- bartender was friendly and took our orders right away.

Unfortunately a few minutes after I landed, they closed the kitchen. I think it was about 1030 which sucked. So instead we snagged a drink. We had a gin and sprite, a wayward lane fine print ale, and an IPA which was okay. I forgot the name of it. Small place to sit inside. Maybe good for 30 people. Decent amount outside maybe 20. So it's not a huge plane but the noise coming from it was loud and so it had pretty decent energy. There was also an intense game of cornhole happening as well.
