New York Mets will always have a place in my heart. It's a family tradition to fight over the Yankees and Mets. That's why I'm a big fan of both. I support the Florida Marlins for my daughter but they don't pull at my heart strings like my New York Teams. The Mets are very good to their fans. I've always loved the Giveaways and now I have a Football Jersey as well as my Mets Baseball Batting Gloves. Whatever your home team is show your love and support!

Coming to watch the Mets play with friends is always fun to watch... you never know what each season brings. Been a long time since their last World Series win....so they are due soon! Easy to get to the stadium to watch them play and with super express 7 after the game to get back into the city. Definitely a more family friendly stadium. With rule changes, game does go a bit faster... Mets have good promos for their fans...2023 lots of bobble heads this year, and special event ticket promos... Please bring back spin & win soon! See you next season! LGM!

While they do keep us with our hearts in our throats, here we all are: still pulling for them, still at the citifield watch party after those two late home runs against butto, still watching our screens in dismal resignation. Because Lindor will patiently work the count and get on base and Nimmo will get himself on base and Pete will hit a 3-run home to bring them all home. Because Winker will get hit by a pitch and then steal a base and then crush his helmet when marte singles to right field to bring him home. And forget about Lindor's astute and smooth double play to end the game. This team has endless heart and grit. It's a team we deserve and it's a team that deserves our support. Let's go Mets!

As an Atlanta Braves fan, I like the New York Mets OK. The Braves and Mets have a rivalry that dates back to 1962 with the Braves holding a 477-397 (.546) advantage all-time. Both teams are part of the National League East division which is why they've faced off so many times. If I had to pick a favorite MLB team in New York, it would be the Mets (I generally pull for the underdog and am not a frontrunner/bandwagon jumper). Perhaps the biggest series between the Braves and the Mets was the 1999 National League Championship Series. It was Bobby Cox vs. Bobby Valentine (the managers). Mike Piazza was the star on that Mets team while the Braves were stacked with guys like Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, John Smoltz, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, and Brian Jordan. The Braves won the series, 4-2, and advanced to the '99 World Series only to get swept by the other team in New York, the Yankees. To me, the most memorable game between the two teams was on September 21, 2001. It was the first professional sporting event held in New York since 9/11. The Mets won the emotional game, down 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th, off a two-run homer by Piazza. It's become an iconic sports moment that now gets replayed in 9/11 remembrances and various sports montages. When it comes to baseball in New York City, the Yankees have been around a lot longer: since 1901 for the Yankees and since 1962 for the Mets. The Mets were an expansion team and, unlike other franchises, haven't played in any other city. Their name is short for Metropolitans or their corporate name, the New York Metropolitan Baseball Club. The Mets won the World Series in only their seventh year of existence (1969) and then again in 1986 where they went an epic seven games against the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox were only a strike away from winning it all, two times, but blew their lead. Curse of the Bambino.

Like so many others we follow a team in the footsteps of a family member or friends which to me is respectable. Not because they have X amount of rings and titles or because they're the "best team" but because it extends beyond their popularity. You have a story to tell besides they're they are popular and are the "best team". My father moved to NY in the late 60's and decided to get behind the newer team being a newcomer to the city himself. A lot of my family was in Queens too so there's that. It turns out shortly after the Mets would be hot and take the World series in 1969. Sure the Mets haven't had much to celebrate since then outside another in 86' but again, should the team you like be all about all their victories? I guess for some people. Win or lose I stand behind my perhaps underachieving teams and feel the satisfaction with every clutch win, amazing play and otherwise big moment because it never gets old. I don't get out to see them live often, but I'm still a Met fan and if you are too, we're off to a good start. Lets Go Mets!

The New York Mets have a nice stadium and they offer two types of sausage dogs (hot and sweet). Of course I prefer the hot ones and you must add peppers and onions with mustard to make it a true sausage dog. At least that is how I have mine when I go to Fenway. The exterior is more modern than the interior. Food options are found on all levels, but specialty items like sausage dodgers or steak subs you have to go searching for and there are not many of them. I enjoyed the game and the atmosphere.

Great game! The food there was amazing we ordered Nachos and Hotdogs and they were all good.. Bathrooms are cleans with an attendant cleaning often. This was our first time attending the Mets game but this won't be the last!

It's best around New York when the Mets are relevant... Problem is that hasn't been the case in a very long time. They probably have the most loyal of fans. Growing up, if you were a baseball fan they coined the phase "Amazing." From that sign guy who was always sitting by third base dugout at Shea Stadium in those early days. They were a fun bunch to watch. Even though I'll confess that I'm a fan of that other team in town. The 80's & early 2000's were the best of times for this organization. So many opportunities to win it all and only came home with one World Series trophy(1986), outside of 69. Tom Seaver will always be Mr. Met. And was a favorite of mine on those glory days from way back. So glad they finally got around to honoring him this year. What took so long! He was only the best player in this franchise's history. Currently under new upper management. With enough core young players to build up this team again. Stay the course and don't try to compete with that team across town. Oh and loosen up your budget a little. Please don't try to be a small market team. Citi Field is a great newer ballpark. Just wish they could fill it up like the old stadium. Diehard fans are waiting.

Well here we go again and everything Mets sure they're a great team and everything but the manager and the owner I don't know what they're thinking and everything like that but you know her they shouldn't of used walker in the game he sucks big time he shouldn't of been in the Mets in the first place because he is a bad picture and everything and as of The trades that they have done it was a bad trade and everything I would've stuck with Jose Reyes Familia because they are really good players now it's our loss because we would've won last night if the manager actually put in Jacob deGrom and then also for the finisher Deas he's a good pitch pitcher to inheriting a he can get the job done but yet we lost against the Yankees to the four which we should've won the game and everything and the score would've been a different way it would've been 42 and everything Mets for screw up the game by putting in Walker you know they wasn't on the game last night they got a really look towards their floors and everything you know right now sure we have a great team and everything but on the trades that you guys did was the wrong trades Completely wrong OK well let's try to do this again today OK and let's win this one thank you have a great day ------------------------------------------------- OK now you guys are playing the Yankees again tonight please no more mistakes OK you guys are better than that and this time do not and I do mean do not put in Walker because walker was the cause of our lost yesterday against a team that we could actually be with our eyes closed so start off with Jacob deGrom and then for the finisher you put in Diaz he's a good picture as well if I was you I would send Walker back to whatever baseball team he was on and get back the player that you actually traded for for Walker because if you guys keep on losing they won't be any sold out tickets because there won't be any things anymore for the Mets you know I am a hard-core Mets fan of course but if this is the case that you guys are losing intentionally then a lot of fans will actually switch up from being a Mets fan straight to being a Yankee fan and I don't think the Mets organization would like that very much because the trades that you guys have done is the wrong trades from the get-go OK please make us proud we are the ones that are having you guys get paid pretty good money just to put on a good show OK thank you and have a great game tonight

Like a lot of others, I am a…read morebig fan of history and do wish that they kept the old stadium around...that being said our game day experience was pretty good! Our first order of business was visiting monument park right as gates opened at 5:30 since it closes before first pitch. Best access is entering in through Gate 8, and surprisingly there was no line for a Friday evening game! This is a must for any baseball fan and you can see all of the retired Yankee numbers along with a monument plaque for greats. We also had a good field and dining experience. Tried the angry lobster roll, grub and tub chicken bucket, and ice cream chicken bucket. The chicken was alright, nothing too amazing but it is a lot of fries and a good amount of tendies. Pretty decent value for $23 since it comes with a souvenir drink. Lobster roll was great! I really liked the seasoning, and it came with a side of chips too. The real highlight was the ice cream chicken bucket! The hype is real with this one! Each drumstick was made intricately with yummy cornflake coating and the chocolate pretzel bone is a great touch. Seating in the 212 section was pretty fun. The Yanks are doing great right now so the energy in the crowd was amazing. We went crazy during Ben Rice's homer! Only downside was some people got a bit too crazy and threw up right behind my wife's seat...not great but it is what it is I guess. We enjoyed walking around the stadium, talking to fans, and taking in all the different views while getting our food. The one thing I'd say is that while our experience was good, can't help but feel the stadium lacks a bit of character. The concourse is just okay compared to most other modern stadiums, and there aren't many things other than monument park and the Yankee museum that make the place stand out. The great hall is cool, but you don't really spend much time there. It's a good stadium, but I feel like there were some missed opportunities during construction that could have put it in the upper echelon of MLB ballparks.

Anyways this arena is fantastic. AHL hockey is fantastic. Why is the arena always a ghost town?!? I think that has a lot to do with how expensive the tickets are here. You can sit lower bowl center ice for ~25 in Hershey, WB/S, Lehigh Valley, and Binghamton. Here ~25 only gets you corner seats. Moving closer to center ice the ticets go up to 48 and 58 to sit on the glass?! That's crazy for the AHL. It's even worse, that they are the Islander's affiliate, and you can regularly get into most Islanders games for 30-40 dollars. This building should really try having 20$ tickets, or maybe consider general admission since the crowds are so small. Someone in ticketing should really go visit Hershey or Bingo to see how they sell tickets and price their tickets accordingly. The half empty building really takes away from the game environment too. People in CT love hockey, just not at these inflated prices.
