The staff seemed very friendly with each other where they could laugh and joke around, which is really nice environment. They have a salad bar, they sell hot and cold food. They do have a little seating area in the front as well. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and it was really good. My best friend got a BLT with turkey and she said it was very good as well. I've been recommended to this place by someone who says they have really good meatballs. So next time when it is cooler outside, I would love to try them. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but this was ridiculous. I ordered two turkey sandwiches that were listed as $9.10 each, which should've been about $18.20 total. I added basic items: bread ($2), cheese ($1), lettuce ($0.75), and tomato ($0.75 each) -- nothing over the top. My total came out to $31.04, which makes zero sense. When I called to ask why, the woman told me the $9.10 is only for the turkey meat, and that everything else is charged separately. But it literally says "sandwich" -- not "just turkey." I told her flat out, this is how you lose customers. That kind of pricing is misleading and just plain wrong. Charging over $15 per sandwich for deli basics? Not worth it. Never again. read more

Today I had my food delivered and it was outstanding. I had egg and cheese w/spinach and turkey bacon. I love this sandwich from here. The chef makes it perfect, with the right amount of seasoning and the bread is so soft. I've been to the store a few times and everyone there is pleasant. I love the spaciousness. Teresa! You're killing me! I've been eyeing this lunch spot for quite a while, and ironically was excited when I found myself in the area for my husband's doctors appointment that I would be passing a place I've been following for quite some time. Teresa is known for their focaccia sandwiches, I was so excited to get one as the focaccia bread looked like one of the best around. The first doctor appointment, I waited too late and the deli closed and I was never able to order. The second doctor appointment I tried to plan ahead. I decided to place an order online through their website and around noon time to order a focaccia bread sandwich, particularly the Parma. Once I placed my order I immediately got a call saying they were out of focaccia bread. At this point, I really didn't want the sandwich but I got it anyway on a hero. Was it delicious? Yes! Besides it being a little bit on the dry side which I think is where the focaccia bread comes in, it was really tasty. The amount of prosciutto they put on was perfect. It was the right amount paired with the tomatoes, the basil and the fresh mozzarella which you really couldn't beat. I just wish it wasn't on the hero bread. Cut to a few days later, and I find myself in the area again because Snooki is opening her shop in Huntington (more on that in another review). On our way I noticed once again we are passing Teresa (oh hey!). I convinced my sister that we have to stop and get a piece of this famous focaccia bread, and being that it was super early in the morning I was hoping that it would be fresh and ready to go. I walk in, go to the counter and ask if there's any focaccia bread. The person at the counter then goes to ask the gentleman manning the sandwich line, and he says yes. I get a whole bunch of stuff including a cookie, a doughnut, a fruit salad, and everything's great (actually the cookie was meh). The woman behind the counter is handed a piece of bread wrapped in a piece of parchment paper and as she is placing it into the brown paper bag I can't really get a good glimpse, but I'm trusting it's my lovely focaccia bread. I get to the car and I'm so excited to bite into this bread and it's NOT focaccia bread. It's actually ciabatta bread, and again as good as it was, it wasn't what I was looking for. So this is a somewhat incomplete review because I have faith in this place and the food that they produce is delicious but I really need to get a piece of the focaccia bread. Not sure when I'll be back in Huntington, but when I do head back in this area, I will give this place one more shot. read more

This place used to be called Rob Roy Deli which was kind of gross inside and the new owners cleaned it up and improved the overall internal decour. They do catering but are mostly breakfast / lunch spot. I would recommend their French toast, but only get it when it's fresh and made to order otherwise it is sometimes dry / hard. That said, it's expensive. On a positive note, they are very efficient and you can get in and out quickly... That's also their biggest challenge, because they are so fast they often make mistakes and you end up with the wrong food. I'd be remiss to mention, the gentleman is normally they're taking breakfast orders is extremely gruff and often not nice. I guess that's the trade-off for the efficiency. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, lox, capers and tomato. When I got to the store they had no lox and could not even call me to let me know that and they def did not put veggie cream cheese on my bagel. I think people who leave negative comments don't take busy times or human error into play, which you'll get at ANY deli, restaurant, because nothing is perfect, etc. You get the picture. Teresa, one of the owners, cares about cleanliness and presentation, which makes this deli a charm in itself. Prishya, the counter worker, couldn't be sweeter and is on point with service. I wanted to like this place, but they consistantly get my orders wrong. I usually order Teresa's breakfast burrito with NO ONIONS in that onions make me sick. Out of the past 11 orders onions have been in 9 of them. Are the employees that stupid or just wanting to see if i notice? The last time I ordered I actually observed them sprinkling onions on it! Stoped in for a breakfast sandwich the other day and very disappointed with the food. The place is very nice and clean compared to what it was as Roy's back in the day. They are efficient and friendly. Food quality is fresh but the down side is the lack of flavor of egg sandwich. Had been there couple of times before. It the last time was just horrible and then paying about shy of $8.00 for just the egg sandwich. I don't mind paying that kind of money for food only if the taste was there!! The potato's are cooked with absolutely no flavor and no char to any of the potato. Just bland mush. Then they skimp on cheese!! A single thin slice, that u can barely taste. I know food cost has gone up but the taste should be there!! Carl's deli in Huntington at great breakfast special before 8am and taste good. FYI. I order a specific sandwich because...well that's what I want to eat when I'm paying near $20 for a hero and beverage at a deli. Get told "just order a Turkey BLT".....No sir, I will not just order a Turkey BLT, because I don't eat Tomato and I also want to add a condiment to my sandwich. So, do your job and listen to peoples orders and don't have an attitude when it strays away from the basic menu. Oh, and god forbid you order a BEC sandwich in the morning and ask for Cheddar cheese and hot sauce...you'll get eyes rolled at you.
