a martini with a lemon slice in it

This was my first visit to Il Posto di Joey since the restaurant replaced its previous establishment Tuttp Pazzo. The new business has an updated contemporary cozy ambience with a scenic view of the bay located across the street. The menu had creative specials along with their similar menu has noted as Tutto Pazzo. The restaurant provides a breadbasket with freshly made bread along with rice balls once seated. The staff is attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed immensely the stuffed artichokes as an appetizer along with the shrimp parmigiana and Veal Milanese. Our dishes were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience, and we will be visiting this restaurant often.

First time here for a birthday celebration with some friends. Everyone liked their food and was happy with their meals. I had the Sole francese which was very tasty. The martini pours were great you are getting two cocktails for the price of one. The bread basket bread was very soft and tasty. They also start you off with complimentary rice balls too. We did the Caesar salad and fried zucchini starters. The fried zucchini came with bacon and Gorgonzola cheese. It was amazing! Salad was tasty too. Nice place with good service.

Our 1st visit to Il Posto Di Joey. When we arrived we realized that it is located where Tutto Pazzo was originally. We arrived we were seated promptly at a table with an amazing water view.(across the street from the Harbor Club/photo is below ). No need to worry because Parking is available! We were greeted promptly by a very friendly waiter name Lenyn. They dropped off a warm & fresh baked bread basket with focaccia that was delicious. For appetizers: We ordered the crab cakes, which definitely shouldn't have been served. Sorry, it didn't meet my standards. It had so much breading then they burnt the bottoms of the crab cake. Cocktails: Homemade Sangria was not my best the apples had a alcohol after taste & water down. Dinners: Highly recommend the two veal dishes below. Veal Francese & Milanese it was such a tender piece of meat which was perfectly prepared & delicious with just the right amount of veggies and delicious mashed potatoes. Our overall dinner & dining experience was wonderful and I definitely recommend this place.

Came here with 2 of my adult children and my husband for Valentines Day. Did not know what to expect as my son made the reservations. I have to say- we were pleasantly surprised! Joey was wonderful and the food was excellent. We look forward to coming back soon. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 4.5 STARS On Friday, February 21st, I attended a group dinner at Tutto Pazzo, a venerable Italian restaurant in the Halesite section of Huntington. Use Prime as a landmark. Tutto Pazzo is just a little north on the opposite side of the street. Parking is valet and the young attendant was very pleasant. Upon arrival, the young female bartender made me a terrific GG Vodka Martini. The restaurant seated us promptly when our group arrived. I started with the Baked Clams. They were moist, whole, delicious and well seasoned, with a perfect breading to clam ratio.I sampled some of the meats and cheeses on the Tease Plate and some Bacon Wedge Salad. Both were very good. The Wedge was particularly excellent. It was loaded with perfectly cooked bacon. Onto the entrees....I had the freshly made Lasagna Bolognese. It was fabulous. The sauce was rich and meaty. There was no doubt that the pasta was made fresh that day. My tip is to take advantage of the many fresh pastas offered here. My companions loved their dishes.Standout dishes were too many to mention. You cannot go wrong with any of the Parm dishes. I'll cite the excellence of the Raviolis, the Goat Cheese Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms and the Angel Hair with Pomodoro Sauce. The Meatballs here are superb. The texture was perfect and the seasoning was on point. I concluded with the Chocolate Brownie, served with Whipped Cream and Ice Cream. It was fabulous and one of my companions said the Tiramisu was as well. Service was polite though a bit inattentive. Our group was extremely pleased with this restaurant. BOTTOM LINE: In a town with several fine Italian restaurants, Tutto Pazzo stands out.

A bit disappointed with this place. Maybe it was the great reviews that I had such high expectations?? I don't know. Was it my choice of hot antipasto?? I don't know. We went Saturday night with no reservations and wow it was packed!!! It was really beautiful inside felt very upscale. We were told wait time would be anywhere from 30mins to an HR. We were okay with that since we weren't too hungry. We snagged the comfy couch seats in the waiting area. They give you complimentary chips as you wait. We ended up being seated about after a 20min wait. Our waiter was great and attentive considering how many tables he was attending to. They serve you upon sitting a bread basket. I read about it in other reviews and many stated the bread was nice and hot. We did not get hot bread but it was still very good. You also get 4 rice balls in there I didn't like it but it was a nice touch. Now onto to the food. Food: My fiancé ordered 1/2 clams and I ordered the chefs choice hot antipasto for one. My fiancée said his raw clams were good. The hot antipasto I did not like one thing on there! Goat cheese and artichoke ugh a no go for me! Stuffed mushroom another no! Eggplant a no! Fried calamari a no! Baked clams also a no!! The only thing good I mean amazingly good was the marinara sauce that came with it. For our entree we decided to share papadelle with pomodora sauce. This dish was a winner! It was delicious! After we had their Nutella bread pudding dessert and cappuccino very delicious! The prices are definitely expensive I don't mind an expensive meal as long as it's delicious. The price tag definitely doesn't the match the food here. I rather go to portofino also in Huntington. It isn't upscale but the food is delicious and half the price tag of Tutto.

    Ravioli twisters with pesto

We decided to give this place a try to mix things up a bit. It's a fairly big restaurant with a casual vibe. The bread basket they brought out was stale and had rice balls which were super bland and dry. Our waiter was fine but not very helpful when it came to making recommendations or answering questions about the menu. We ordered the eggplant rollatini, the ravioli twisters with pesto, the taglierini pasta with vodka sauce, and the gnocchi with truffle cream. The eggplant was good (7/10). The ravioli twisters with pesto were good but a little too dense and heavy (7/10). The taglierini was a really delicious unique pasta but the vodka sauce was very bland and watery (7/10). The gnocchi with truffle cream was definitely the stand out. It was delicious with just the right amount of truffle (10/10). This is a fine restaurant but the prices are definitely too high for what the ambiance, service, and food quality is.

I love this place, not only do they have amazingly fresh delicious creative dishes, the owner and staff are amazing. I came in for some brunch and had delicious lobster Benedict and the best sangria in town. I love coming here, and will continue to come here

As previous reviews mention, the inside is decorated to look like you're on a patio in Tuscany. It's deceptively large inside, and we sat all the way at the back around the corner. The waitstaff were very efficient and pleasant, giving my boyfriend and I time to look over the menu but coming soon after we'd set them down on the table. After some complimentary bread and very tasty garlic knots, we started with one of their appetizer specials to share, and were very pleased with it. It had fresh grilled Italian sausage served over garlicky cannellini beans and broccolini. Everything was balanced and well prepared. For our dinner we both got pasta; I got the butternut squash agnolotti (de zucca) with butter and sage, and he got the ricotta cavatelli bolognese. The bolognese was delicious, but I felt like the squash agnolotti needed something else to make it a proper dinner. The filling is just squash puree, no cheese, and the melted butter sauce is very very decadent. I would get something a bit more filling next time, but other than that I enjoyed my meal and our experience!

The bar area is separate from the main dining room and feels like its own space, with a large bar, a few small tables, and seating along the windows. It was fairly lively for a Thursday night. The bartenders were fun and engaging, clearly knew many of the regulars, and did a great job keeping the energy up. While there are no formal happy hour deals, they do serve complimentary chunks of parmesan, which were very good. The cocktail and wine menu is fairly extensive. We only ordered a small starter (fingerling potatoes for $13), but the dinner portions we saw looked generous. I enjoyed a glass of Malbec (~$15) and generous pour. Prices are closer to New York City pricing, though the portion sizes may be enough to share. When you enter the restaurant, you pass a large patio with tables, which would be especially nice during warmer months. Overall, Farm Italy feels like a great spot for catching up with friends over drinks, and I would definitely come back to try more of the food.

I remembered the restaurant so fondly and I've always wanted to go back since I moved out of LI. This weekend when I was visiting with my husband, I wanted to take him there because of how great it was the first time we went. We were able to grab a reservation for four people at 4 PM (which is pretty tough otherwise). Our server was nice and drinks were good but it didn't feel like that elevated experience that I once had here. The most disappointing part was that all of the food lacked so much flavor. We ordered the frito misto, the taglioni? (Pecorino cake style appetizer), salad, pappardelle, NY strip steak, roasted chicken. I felt like everything but the taglioni and salad lacked so much flavor and depth. I recall enjoying their food and having such an extraordinary experience the first time around, and this just felt like really basic food at a premium price point. I'm hoping it's a one off thing based off of circumstances outside their control, but I don't think I'd be going back anytime soon

We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.
