As soon as me and my son walked in we got greeted and let us know where the menu was. There was a few slices they had sold per slice in the case but everything else is made to order. The wait wasn't long at all. The design of the restaurant my son likes. We order a 18" cheese pizza; came with 8 slices, cheese slice with house salad and drink combo, fried cheese and slice of BBQ chicken pizza. Everything was fresh and the bbq chicken pizza was my favorite. I got 2 bites and my youngest son took it cause it was so good. The fried cheese are triangle shape and way better than any I have had before. read more

The New York Pizza in Fleming Island, FL makes claim to having the most authentic NY style pizza in a North Florida. And let me tell you, the pizza is massive, like its flavors. The sauce is impeccable, the cheese is just enough but not overpowering, and the light fluffy dough makes you able to enjoy multiple slices without feeling like a blob. I want to say that as much as the pizza has great flavor and my husband and son's 18" pepperoni pizza was tasty, these two slices of mushroom pizza are the tiniest slices I have ever received from a pizza place that you can get slices from. I put my hand next to the box so you can see how small these slices are. I have ordered slices for my son previously in the pizza place and his slices have been a little bigger than this. Plus the mushrooms look like the thinnest shreds or minced pieces. To charge $3.49 a slice plus $.40 a topping is not worth it! Most places when you order slices the slices come off of a large to extra large pizza not a medium. Very sad that this is my first time eating the pizza and this is what I have to eat. My son loves the pizza so I guess since this place is close to home he will enjoy it in the future. read more

They get zero stars not only because of their pizza and wings but because the person answering the phone couldn't even apologize for the food being cold! She actually was arguing with the customer. I'm from NY! That is definitely not even close to NY pizza! The name is deceptive!!! Obviously, the person who makes the pizza has never been to NY!! A large NY pizza has 8 slices not 6!! The wings were suppose to have BBQ sauce it looked and tastes like ketchup! The "BBQ" says was dumped on top! That's is not how wings are flavored! I love coming here after my hair appointments! Pizza is always so good, they have an awesome deal: 2 slices and a drink for under $9. Slices are huge, and they sell by the slice. Nice place, a little off the main drag. Pepperoni pizza was cooked perfect with nice crust. Garlic cheesy bread was a good appetizer choice. Italian sub was very fresh and can feed two people. Antipasti salad was great. Service is fast casual, so you order at the counter and do the rest yourself. Restaurant was very clean and has seating outside as well. These pies are giant. The dough is light and fluffy and the cheese is top notch. We tried the chick fila style pizza and I would pass on this as it leaves something to be desired. Not sure if it's the soggy fries on top or what but definitely won't order that one again. Our basics pepperoni mushroom was . The service was great. The super adorable whole family working was heart warming. The side salads are huge and the dressing was fantastic. We opted for the antipasto salad and it was great. Let me start by saying if you're looking for a pizza place that will exceed your expectations in terms of pizza this is the place. Dave Portnoy approved 7.6/10. By far the best pizza place located in Fleming Island. Their sandwich "the works" is on-par with other sub places such as Jimmy Johns. For ordering during Memorial Day prior to their closing I found the delivery to be extremely fast and was very thankful for that. This place has always been consistently a great pizza place and will continue to get my business when I'm in the mood for some. read more

Have been going to this establishment for over a year and is worth every dime! They have the best quality, excellent customer service and the food is delicious!! Whatever they have going on, it's unique. The portions are Generous and many things seem to be made from scratch. The crust on the pizza is the kind you eat every bite of! I might sound critical because I used to run a pizza shop myself. To their credit, they have improved their technique since I've first tried their pizza. They were baking on pans, and now use screens -- yielding better crust texture. Our philosophy was to use the very finest ingredients from the flour to the homemade sauce cooked with frozen basil to the artisanal pepperoni. We loved this place, we did take out all the time as did our friends. I would had given them 5 stars hands down. The last 6 months not so good ! We talked with friends and they agree. After seeing many good reviews about this place we decided to give a try today. What a waste of a good pizza Sunday tradition!! Not only was the pizza cold ( really? It is only about an 8 minute drive to Eagle Harbor),The crust tasted like burnt cardboard, I even ordered it with extra pizza sauce and still it was hard as plywood . I would definitely not be ordering from this place again. I know many people like it but that is not my case. read more

I agree that this is probably the best pizza in Clay, but the bar is pretty low here. The pizza is close to NY, the sauce is a little off from the tri state area flavor profile, the crust is missing the flavor from up there, but for being 1100 miles south, it's the best substitute I've found in Clay. The wings are OK, not anything special, but the pizza make up for it. read more

Hands down the best pizza in Clay. Probably Jax. Always hot and fresh, even when ordering delivery. The prices are fair and the portions are huge. Cheesy garlic bread is so dang good too! We got chicken wings for the first time last week and they are bigger than most wing places around. The staff is friendly as well. I have to hand it to New York Pizza, their slice is VERY close to a slice from the Big Apple! It's thin with a distinctive crust (eat it immediately for the best experience as this type of crush gets chewier with time), flavorful cheese, and delicious toppings. My only qualm (and thus only 4 stars) is the price. I wish a slice was just a tad cheaper. Other than that though, this is the "real deal" and worth coming back to again and again. read more

Not impressed. $40+ for two small pizzas and an "appetizer" sampler. Pizza crust was not good. Cardboard texture that reminded me of frozen. Toppings were acceptable, even though most were unidentifiable. The $10 appetizer sampler was inedible. Fried from frozen, over cooked and greasy. Service, even for takeout, was severely lacking. I'm a pizza snob and I'm particular about how it should be made. I have a simple test to judge pizzas by seeing how good their beef and jalepeno pizza is. The best one for me is in SF at a mom and pops Italian pizzeria called Victor's. I have to say that this one comes very close to it. The tomato sauce is delicious and the toppings are great quality. The pizza has just the right amount of dough. I've ordered it several times over the past few months and it's always perfect. read more

I ended up getting 20 wings (10 Garlic Parmesan and 10 Sweet Barbecue) they were absolutely delicious. Crispy, savory, and perfectly sauced. They had a great deal on full wings at just $1 each, which is an incredible value. I also found out that on Mondays they offer a Buy One, Get One Half Off deal on gyros so I got 4 of them for my coworkers. I tried a gyro as well, and it was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Needless to say the experience checked all the boxes of definitely a repeat visit. Oh and plus it was very clean and nicely organized dining room with plenty of seating.

The best. When I was ten, we visited my uncle in New Jersey. He went all the way into New York City to get us pizza, and it was amazing. I have been trying to find pizza like that ever since. I'm retired military and have tried pizza all over the world, including Italy. We just moved here, and we have tried several places, but THIS is the pizza I have been searching for. A large is huge - as big as the one Uncle Joe brought us. The cheese is perfect, the sauce is sweet and tangy, and the toppings are the best I have ever had. My search is over. Coming from New Jersey where I am use to the best, I consider myself a pizza snob. This pizza is amazing. Everything was fresh, the sauce was perfect, and the crust was thin. Just had their eggplant parm dinner delivered and it was wonderful. Could tell that it was freshly done, not frozen and covered with sauce and cheese. I am so very impressed.
