This is my go to spot for some good pizza and fries in Malden specifically. My go to is their mamma mia buffalo chicken pizza (never disappoints)!! This is cheap and delicious. Normally no more than $20 for a medium size pizza and a large fry for my boyfriend and I to share-plus we always have left overs for lunch the next day. This is a good spot if you're looking to stay in the area. However their service is terrible. It's normally the same girl at the front/cashier and she is always disgustingly rude. To be honest, she shouldn't be working in a place like this or at any place that requires to work with human beings/customer service because she sure as hell sucks at it. It's always a mad house any time from 3-10pm since this is in the heart of Malden also really close to the high school. If you're looking for a place to sit, I would recommend you taking your food home if you're in the area because you'll be annoyed with screaming- out of controlled high schoolers.

This place is simply amazing. I saw the reviews for the Buffalo chicken pizza and had to try. We've lived in Malden for 3 years and am so disappointed we didn't try earlier! By far favorite Buffalo chicken pizza. Pics are from two different times. Each time the pizza is the same quality which is rare for some places to do. Pieces of chicken are small but distribution is even and not sparse. Great sauce on top, not too spicy with the Buffalo, nice tang. Highly recommend these guys!

Their customer service is very bad. I always have an unpleasant experience due to the cashier. She is very rude to customers..I placed an order online and arrived five minutes earlier than the estimated pick up time. She told me it would take another 30 minutes. Shows that they do not have good time management. They need to do a better job keeping up with their orders and updating the estimated time if there is a delay. However, aside from their service, the mamma mia buffalo chicken pizza is fairly good. I usually order a medium pizza and my boyfriend and I are always stuffed. I also tried their steak and cheese sub and it was very dry, bland and lack of cheese. I would recommend avoid visiting on weekdays around 2-3pm because high school students tend to hang out there after school.

Needed to try some new delivery in the area as am just about sick of everything. Got a steak tip salad - just blah, the steak really had no flavor and the salad was just plain. Shrimp Broccoli Ziti, had good flavor & was a decent portion Cheeseburger was good (claimed the BF) and he is super picky... Everything was good, I would go back to try some other things.

I usually like this place a lot, but after the delivery service they don't even deserve a star, i ordered a buffalo french fries and a cheese pizza in which they usually have them ready and just put them in the oven, i live 2 blocks away, the food took more than an hour and a half and when i called they said he will leave in 5 minutes? And he took half an hour? The food was very cold and soggy...

They clearly use a lot of oil on the bottom of the pans they bake the pizzas in. If you don't like oil, this isn't the place for you. But we *loved* it. I also loved that the pizza toppings went to the edge. This made the vegan cheese crispy along the edges. This approach coupled with the thin (but not too thin) dough felt like Detroit-Neapolitan hybrid. It was the best of both. (And They do offer a Detroit pizza as well, which we will try in the future.) I like my sauce a bit sweeter than their red sauce, but this was only a minor issue. The toppings were high quality, especially the sautéed mushrooms. This place was absolutely worth the drive from Salem to Medford and we will be back. I was disappointed that they no longer make the Carl Called pizza that is listed on their website. It sounds amazing and I hope they bring it back. There are only 4 or so tables so we will avoid this place during peak hours. Alternatively we could order our pizza to go and find an outdoors spot to eat. The dining area was pretty toasty from the ovens. Today was a mild spring day, yet even with the door open, I was getting uncomfortably hot. They also do not have a bathroom for customers, so bear that in mind before visiting. I would love to see this place move to a larger space with more tables. The owner and his staff clearly are passionate about pizza and really know their craft.

But on a Saturday night, the place is mostly empty. Why? Because the people who run it don't understand atmosphere. The lighting is too bright, the decorations are tacky, and the music is cheesy. That is, it's not cool. It's not appealing. The owners need to visit places like Picco, Salty Pig, and Coppa in South End; Jinny's in Newton; or even nearby Semolina in Medford, and then make Real Gusto more like these 21st century places. If not, I'm concerned that Real Gusto will go out of business, and I don't want that to happen. That's why I hope the owners see this review and don't take offense to it and become defensive, but rather hear important feedback from a sincere customer, and modernize, bringing the restaurant toward its potential.

The food + atmosphere + service was awesome. The three of us shared fried calamari and "Artichokes…read morein Rome." The calamari was delish but we wished there was more sauce for them because that was equally delicious. The artichockes, well, I don't think sublime captures the experience. It appeared that Roman style artichokes were wrapped in prosciutto and broiled, where the crispiness of the ham played off the delicate interior of the artichokes like nothing I've had before. The salmon entrée was cooked perfectly (even though I wasn't asked) with just enough medium rare center to be considered a model of how to cook salamon. The sunny rear of the dining room was a perfect spot to enjoy the snow-covered view. I'll be back for dinner soon. Many thanks to Domenico for attending to us.
