I got here around 12:30pm on a Thursday. There were only about a half dozen people. A nice little place to get a quick slice. They had about 5-6 kind of slices ready to reheat. The slices were thin crust and folded nicely for eating while writing this review. They were a little greasy after reheating but not as bad as some chains. Service is kind. The pizza we have had is pretty good. The issue is how limited the options are for on demand pizza. Very. Very Limited. The desserts are clearly an after thought. Inside has a reasonable amount of seating, although not comfortable, and it's walking distance from plenty of downtown Oly options of things to do. This spot offers pizza by the slice, including daily specials, which works perfectly for a drop-in while tooling around downtown. When we went, it was really hot out, and they don't have a/c, but fans and a screen door kept it cool enough. Service was quick and friendly, and there was plenty of seating, although most of it was in the adjacent dining room, so if you just peek in the windows it might look like there's not much. this place is the definition of Oly pizza. Local, fresh and friendly. I have to say this is one of the best, hands down! Ilkin is in the works of making a new addition to his amazing menu and I had the honor of being the first to try it. We stopped here spontaneously while visiting from out of town. The pre-made slices were actually really delicious & they toast them in the oven before serving so you still get all the crispy goodness. Ordered a slice of pizza for about $4 bucks and some change. I was Leary when first walking in because the pizza on display appeared as if it had been sitting out and was cold. The cashier placed it in the oven to reheat it and it brought the slice to life. The pizza was hot and the cheese was quality. Loved the curled pepperoni. If ordering to go, they do not have to go boxes, but will double plate it for you. I would visit again if looking for something quick and easy. read more

placed an order for delivery, one item was 1/2 of an 18" pizza. $60+ for 2 items, tax, delivery, service fee, tip. Shortly after placing the order I received a call from an employee. He was very difficult to understand. No real clue what he said. Order was delivered and there was a whole pizza instead of a half. My guess is the call was about the pizza. Pizza was ok, lukewarm. Threw out the cheese bread boat with egg. Very unappetizing, especially lukewarm. A few hours later I got an email and text from Yelp about the increase in my bill via grubhub. I was being charged for the whole pizza so now my bill is $76+. I take partial blame for the inability to understand the phone call. However why is a 1/2 pizza on the menu if it can't be delivered? The food itself is not worth $76 and I won't eat here again nor will I recommend it to any friends or neighbors. read more

I have eaten at both their storefront and food truck at the Tumwater Farms Market. The pizza is absolutely delicious but it is very expensive for what you get. The crust is very thin and crispy which is awesome but it doesn't allow many substantial toppings, leaving you still hungry after a slice. I ordered a slice for 4.50 and although delicious was very light on toppings. If the price for a slice was less, or they put more toppings on, it would be a full 5 stars for this place. If you come maybe just get a whole pizza which would be a better value - although I guess that defeats the purpose of being able to buy slices and try different kinds of pizza. Can't say how it compares to other local za makers but I have to say that is was among the top 3 places Ive had pizza between Northern California, Nevada and Washington. Ok, my daughter was in NYC and sent me a picture of her at an authentic NYC pizza place. Looked so good. We go every year usually in September so I won't be able to get a slice myself for a while. Moved to the Olympia area right about a year ago. Her picture sent me on a search for some type of New York City style pizza around here. That is how I found this place. I walked in and was greeted right away. While I was enjoying my slice, I noticed that they greeted everyone in a timely manner. Very good staff, and similar to New York City. They had the appropriate amount of time focused on the people and the food. Just like in the city is probably 80% on the food and 20% on the people which is perfect. The overall layout of the place definitely reminds you of a New York City pizzeria. It was clean and the pizza slices presented well. I ordered a traditional pepperoni slice and then a slice of a specialty pizza that had artichokes onion, bacon, little feta cheese, etc. The sauce had a good tang to it and had a good balance of cheese. Not too much and not too little. The crust was good and thin and had a nice little crunch around the edge. It really did not have the traditional chew of a New York City pizza and that's why I gave it a four instead of a five. I did enjoy both slices and will visit again. I feel very on-the-fence about this place. It would be excellent in a lot of towns, but Olympia already has quite a few decent pizza places, so Wicked Pies gets buried in the competition for me. The weird flavors and Twin Peaks themed pizzas were too interesting to pass up, so over the weekend, my husband and I got a half White Lodge, half Laura Palmer pizza. I did not care for the White Lodge. I blame the rosemary. I love rosemary but, apparently, not on a pizza. It was... too weird for me, even for a Twin Peaks pizza. The Laura Palmer was fascinating. Have you ever eaten salt and vinegar potato chips? It's the weirdest thing because you keep eating more of it to figure out if it's the best flavor in the world or the worst. What isn't up for debate is that it's fascinating. Every bite of the Laura Palmer was like that. I just couldn't figure it out, but I couldn't stop eating it either. Anyway, I feel this place is worth a try. You might find your favorite pizza that they don't make anywhere else. For me, the flavors were odd together, and the crust was a little overdone. We recently visited this pizza joint on a recent trip to Olympia, based on all the great reviews. However, our experience didn't match. We placed our order online- cheese pizza, gluten free cheese, breadsticks and some desert treats. Our online order stated it would be ready in 30 mins, however it took almost 60 mins. Maybe we hit this place on an off day. The sauce seemed pretty plain - just tomato. It needed some seasoning, garlic, something. The gluten-free crust wasn't the best either. It has turned mushy, inedible by the time we reached out hotel to eat it. The brown butter snacks- rice crispy and cookie, were not very good. Both were wrapped in plastic wrap, they need more environmental friendly packaging options. Overall, we ended up throwing most of this food away. We should have taken it back and asked for a full refund. read more

Make note of the quality of the marinara. After you try that start piling on. Many of their house built are adventurous and hit a sweet spot if you're in the mood. I am an avid old school lover, however, sometimes you just want a slice of some random combinations and they always deliver that. The veggie combo was awesome. I almost didn't get it because I thought the onions was ham! Lol their bread stuck options are so good; mozz, parm garlic or pesto. Pesto is my fav. I wish places offered gluten free slices.
