Here's the thing. No one likes to go to the dentist. For me the hygienist is the most important person in the office followed by the dentist of course and an efficient front office person is helpful to help navigate insurance and costs. Nazelle and Maggie are excellent hygienists!!! Dr Borouchi is a great dentist: gentle and a master dentist. I think the preventative care protocol here is the reason I go in regularly and I appreciate they don't try to constantly upsell other dental procedures. I know the costs of everything is so unpredictable and dentistry is no different however the hygienists & Dr. B are wonderful! read more

I called the office to ask questions about my insurance coverage and possible treatments. The lady who answered (her name sounded like Solva but I'm sure I'm getting the spelling wrong...) anyway she was so kind in answering my questions. She literally spent 18 min on the phone with me patiently waiting and helping me gather my insurance information only to find out I gave her my medical info instead of my dental insurance info. She wasn't impatient or unkind as I pulled up my dental information. In the end when we had an appt going and she confirmed the office's address I realized I had called the wrong dental office (I had researched a different office that I wanted to go to for my specific needs). I was so embarrassed because she had spent all that time with me. Even then she said she only wished me the best and to go where I felt comfortable. I feel the least I could do was leave a review detailing how kind this office lady was and thorough in answering what she could. If you live near enough to this office please give them a try! I've been going here a little over a year. Everyone in the practice has been good to me. I've had to do gum treatments and Invisalign as the primary reasons of being there. I had teeth that you jetted (sort of angled forward) and two front teeth that overlapped another. My teeth look worlds better, I'm still doing Invisalign, normally people would be done with it but I have a super weird work schedule that puts me in the Pacific Ocean the majority of the time. They've worked with me and my schedule over and over. I appreciate all they've done to accommodate my schedule. I feel confident in recommending them to anyone who's looking for a good dentist. read more

I would highly advise against going to this dentist. My wife went in for a visit and they pushed all these procedures on her. We've just received the insurance claims and the numbers they're submitting are horrendously astronomical. We have a dentist we usually go to further away and so we have those numbers for comparison on a tooth cleaning. I can not believe what they're charging. It's criminal. And their behavior itself was extremely pushy and money hungry. The unprofessionalism is unparalleled. Quite possibly the worst dentist experience. And there's really no need to go to a dentist this crooked when there are such great options here in LA! read more

This place is an absolute SCAM! They charged my husband for things that he didn't get and over charged for 2 extractions. Then once I contacted my insurance (Cigna) she called this Scam dental office and asked what was we charged for. Once the lady at Sierra Dental gave the Billing code, Cigna told them it should be at "$0" cost the lady quickly changed the billing code which is a code that's not covered under the insurance. Then mentioned "we did over charge for the tooth extraction by $10" Cigna immediately noticed a RED FLAG. Cigna filed a complaint against this office based off the information that was given to have this office removed from contract. I called the office myself and asked why would you charge my husband $100 x2 she couldn't give me an answer all she could give was a smart remark "well if you want I can just pay the $10 out of my pocket" Are you kidding me?!? This place is an absolute SCAM. I'm also filing a report to the BBB. This lady is very Rude told me we'll come speak with me face to face. Wow what type of establishment is this. Yea sure they are nice and friendly, until they tell you they want to charge you thousands of dollars , and tell me yes come here your insurance is covered to give me a big fat bill at the end , and tell me I should switch from HMO to PPO . If you don't want to work with hmo clients you should tell them over the phone !
