Coming from California, I've been on a tour of all the places I've never heard of before and on that list was Newk's! My husband and I came here for lunch it was such a fun choice! They have serval different options. My husband got the pizza and I got a salad with a bowl of soup. It was a little pricey ($28). But it was so yummy I didn't care that much. My husband has seen people bringing this food to work and they have a whole to go section in the front of the store which he will definitely be hitting up. My only complaint is that the person helping us literally seemed like he could fall asleep at any moment while helping us. It made it hard to order with him because I wasn't sure what he was saying or if he was going to just pass out right there in front of me. But other that, it was an amazing experience. read more

I honestly really enjoy Newks but it's so dissapointing that this is the amount of food they give you on a $12 to-go-order for their mac and cheese. Not worth it. I give them two stars because it was still good but NOT worth that much. Feels like a major rip off. read more

This is such a great option for anyone who wants something tasty, something healthy, or both. They have something for everyone. This is one of the few places my whole family likes to eat at. I love getting the Newk's Favorite salad, or sometimes a cauliflower crust pizza. They might have the best cauliflower crust in NWA. Curbside is really convenient. You can order from the app and they just bring it out to you as soon as you arrive, they really rocked it during covid. Love this place, will always eat here regularly. read more

So I'm glad to see one of these so far west!! I've enjoyed Newks in other cities such as Memphis and I found the same goodness inside this location. The inside was bustling with patrons but there are plenty of staff to efficiently handle the crowd. I'm a huge fan of 3 items on their menu and have had them all several times. I'm sure the other menu items are great but my go tos are: Mac and cheese with pimento and bacon, shrimp po' boy and the lobster bisque. This place knows how to do salads! Plus, the service was great and the food came out quickly. I had the shrimp and avocado salad, which included a delicious lemon vinaigrette. Newks is one of my go to east lunch spots in Rogers/Bentonville area. If you've never been think a southern spin on Panera. The menu consists of sandwiches, salads and pizzas. Fair warning, the salads are gigantic. Personal favorite that never disappoints is the bbq chicken pizza. Crust is very thin, but soft airy and topped with big pieces of chicken along with tomatoes and cilantro for freshness and that Southwest feel. read more

Came here for dinner with my family a couple weeks ago. It is a casual restaurant where you order at the cash register and then they bring the food out to your table. The customer service was friendly and fast that evening. I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich and it was good! I feel it is hard to mess up that kind of a sandwich, and they definitely did not. My kid got the mac n cheese with fruit - it was good, she liked it. My husband ordered a sandwich - the chicken parmesan and liked it. He also ordered the side of the 6 cheese mac n cheese and he actually did not like it. I think it was that 6th cheese that he just wasn't a fan of haha. My daughter liked it though. read more

Definitely better variety than you local McAlisters and Panera Bread deli. I've had a few dishes here. The service is usually very good and food is fresh. Avocado Shrimp salad is my go to. One note worth sharing, they do add quite a bit of dressing, so order it on the side. I could manage this place better from my couch, 10 minutes a day. The employees are difficult to deal with. I'm tired of being told I can't have what I'm willing to pay for because the person on the phone 'doesn't know how'. I've been refused an order and told I couldn't have my full sandwich with side. Stop asking the customer if they want a half sandwich. If they didn't start off with: "I'd like a half...." chances are they aren't ordering half a sandwich. That doesn't stop them ordering me a half sandwich though, which I've gotten numerous times. Sandwiches come with a side but nobody informs the customer they'll be charged more for decent sides. The quality of the food isn't what it was either. The roast beef is stringy and chewy. Expect to have to grind through the gristle and fat each bite. If the order includes fountain drinks, you likely won't get them unless you remind the cashier. So if you're sending a family member to pick it up, make sure they know. Probably best to just go somewhere else. Somewhere you won't be irritated just placing an order. Somewhere you won't be hassled for ordering something they don't know the buttons for. Somewhere you can expect to receive exactly what you ordered. If that's what you're after, just go somewhere else. Think that about covers it. read more

Great food and friendly staff! This is by far our family's favorite restaurant in NWA! We frequent about once a week if not more and have never been disappointed! The food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. And there is something for everyone! The service is quick and the restaurant itself is kept very clean. Great Place! The food tasted delicious. We ordered an Apple Squash soup and a Veggie pizza. The soup was very good and the pizza was fresh. The pizza was loaded with toppings and the crust was crunchy. They also have croutons for the soup and a variety of toppings in the condiments section. They have a couple of other vegetarian options like veggie sandwiches and salads. I even liked the decor of the place. We did not wait for long to order since it was almost their closing time. We didn't get our food for almost 20 minutes - but we are used to this by now, so we were okay waiting. However, the manager apologized and have us a free meal coupon, which was nice. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed!! Service was slow and the staff was unattentive--lots of tables were left dirty and there were dishes stacked all over the counter. Neat place and good food BUT choose your dishes. Shrimp po boy- I didn't read closely and missed that they called it broiled shrimp expected fried but ok.. They were boiled, an even larger difference. It wasn't bad but not what you would expect and very little flavor Carmel cake- I saw a picture of this online and it was the reason I stopped here. Really excited. Took two bites and pushed it away. Very dry and flavorless cake. The frosting was good but could not make up for the dryness. The strawberry cake was excellent. Moist and full of flavor like homemade and will get it again. Mac and cheese was okay but runny and on the mild side Ham and cheese was exceptional the bread makes the sandwiches. Nice light crunch. Went here for lunch today. Great spot. Crowded, but plenty of people working so I didn't wait for more than 30 seconds. Menu is big!! Pizzas, sandwiches, soups, salads and a few dessert choices. I opted for the Spicy Chicken pizza. It was great. It's cooked in an oven on a pan. Dough is nice, but since it's cooked on a pan (I think) it's not quite as crispy as I like. But the pizza and flavors were delicious. Fresh bell peppers (red and yellow), nice, juicy, thin, large pieces of chicken covering the whole pizza. I didn't think it was that spicy, so I just headed over to their fabulous condiment bar and threw some jalapeños, banana peppers, and for an extra kick some real roasted garlic cloves (my fave). I sat on the large patio and my food was delivered very quickly (especially considering how packed they were) and the guy still apologized that he had trouble finding me (not many people sitting outside). They came back a few times to see if I needed anything and then cleared my dishes when I was done. Sandwiches and salads looked great, so I'll be going back to try those soon. read more

I am a big fan of Newks but what a disappointment today. I ordered a shrimp Caesar salad which is what I always get. At my normal Newks in Brookhaven the shrimp is usually hot and fresh. Here in Norcross the shrimp were cold, rock hard, rubbery and tested several days old. The salad had Gibbs of dressing on it. They redid my shrimp for me bUt they basically used the same shrimp but fried them. Gross! I won't be back to this Newks again. read more

One of the best salads I have had! Went in for lunch, grabbed a salad and a soup. Not knowing what I was getting myself into. That salad was so huge and so delicious, that I found myself having to choose between salad and soup once they were on the table. Really good sandwich place, a solid 4.5. We went for dinner so it was busy but not crowded and the wait wasn't long. The customer service was excellent! The ambience is definitely better suited for lunch or casual dinner. I thought it was a really good value considering the quality. For the 4 of us we got: the steak sandwich, half a Newk Q, kids grilled cheese, a kids 5 cheese mac n cheese, a half 6 cheese mac n cheese, a cup each of loaded potato and chicken noodle soup, and a PB rice crispy treat. All for $40, which is pretty impressive since everything is from scratch. The kids meals even come with a drink, applesauce pouch, and chips or fruit. We were all stuffed! The 2 items that really stood out were the steak sandwich and the 6-cheese mac n cheese. I loved the pimento. If it is from scratch I might give the pimento sandwich a try next time. Everything else was very tasty but didn't blow us away. The only disappointment was the rice crispy which had very little PB flavor, but that wasn't a huge deal. We probably should have gone for one of their layered cakes- next time! I was kind of bummed with their soup selection. I get why they can't serve all their soups every day but there were several I would have rather tried. I will have to find out which days everything is served before I go again. First time visiting after hearing great food reviews. Ordered the "Pairings " - bowl of soup ( Pepper jack crawfish) and the side of five cheese macaroni. Should have rung up at posted price of $8.69. Cashier told me my order was $14.69. I asked what was the difference in price. I was told because I wanted the bowl of soup. I replied that o asked for the " pairings " which included a bowl of soup. He told me the pairings was a cup of soup. So I am confused and pointed to menu on the wall stating it says " bowl". He said it should be " cup". So I look at the sizes of soups offered on menu and a quick estimate tells me that the " bowl" price and side price, if ordered a la carte, would be about what the pairings price was.... Do I asked again. Cashier confused and told me he already rung it up, so... I asked that he really-ring it correctly. Said he had to get a manager and reluctantly went off. A woman came back about 3 minutes later and asked what was the problem. I explained again. I got the feeling " I" was being treated as if "I " was in the wrong. She said all the managers were in a meeting. She would get me the food order and a manager would be out to take care of me soon. Food came. Manager came about 10 minutes later. Story explained again and she said she would fix it. Came back out with new ticket and offered me a slice of cake. I said sure. Meanwhile I look at ticket and it charged me an extra $1 for the upgraded 6 cheese pimento with bacon macaroni. I didn't say anything but obviously no one is attuned to details. Ate some of the cake ( caramel) but it was old and very dry. Frosting was good! Manager came by and said it looks like cake was good but companion spoke up saying the cake part wasn't good. I nodded saying it was not good, just the frosting. The manager said, " it was dry wasn't it?" I said yes. And that was it... Newest food stop on the Pauline Whittaker Round-a-bout. Newk's is a sandwich, salad, soup, and pizza eatery with a side of home made desserts. Ordering is at the counter with table delivery. Drinks are self service as is an extensive gourmet condiment station. Cutlery is metal but napkins are paper. The atmosphere is open, fresh and very clean. Service is pleasant with a sense of that Chick-Fil-A customer friendly focus. My sandwich was good and the meat was medium rare as advertised. The French bread was amazing. Truly European with a crispy crunchy crust and soft doughy center. I expect this restaurant will focus on the lunch crowd with a smattering of dinner guests. If you are on the run and need something quick and freshly prepared there is also a Grab-n-Go counter with separate check out (very nice touch). read more
