If you're a salad lover this is a good stop. As far as the rest of menu - you can find better elsewhere.

In Tyler, Texas, the options for a decent but affordable dinner seem to fall into the hands of the…read morechains. There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.

We sat at our table for 15 to 20 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging us. No server came over, no waters were offered, and no one even checked in. The restaurant was not busy, so there was no clear reason for being ignored like this. We asked to speak with a manager and no one ever came. After waiting and realizing no one was going to address the situation, we left. This experience was frustrating and honestly unacceptable, especially for a group that made a reservation and showed up on time. If you are considering coming here, be aware that you may be seated and then completely ignored. I would not recommend wasting your time.

It felt elegant but still welcoming and comfortable. The food was amazing across the board. There was a small mix-up with one of the dishes, but with a large party those things happen, and the staff handled it well. Our waitress was sweet, attentive, quick, and made the experience even better. Would definitely return next time we're in town.

They have a few dining options to choose from including the bar/lounge area, in-door dining and outdoor patio areas. We started in the bar/lounge area while waiting for a seat outdoors so we could enjoy the weather and live music. Our server was very nice and honest- even when he hadn't tried a dish he told us how others rated it. We shared the SEARED AHI TUNA appetizer and added an additional side of bread 8/10 (it honestly should come with more!) Each ordered the THAI GINGER COCONUT SALMON which I am still thinking about! 10/10 The portions were generous and I saved 1/2 to make room for dessert. I was glad to enjoy leftovers the next day. We finished with the DULCE DE LECHE CHURROS which were highly recommended by our server and did not disappoint in presentation nor taste. 10/10

For starters, there is a Starbucks and a Walgreens pharmacy attached, which seems pretty typical for a grocery store, but then you see they have a gelato shop, a pizzeria, a grill with a patio, a taqueria, and more. Their huge patio space makes it a place that people of Tyler love coming to and eating at. This is like a Whole Foods for Tyler. The options and selections were a lot more vast than I had ever seen. I'm seeing fruit and produce I've never seen before. They have so much wine and beer to choose from. Their bakery has so many insane options. FRESH even has a full playground next door and live music on their patio. It's honestly a really impressive shop. One of the only downsides of FRESH is that you're going to pay that price tag. Everything is always slightly more than elsewhere in town. Its quality is what makes it worth the visit. It feels like one of a kind as a grocery store, which is why it took 10-plus years to open a second location. It's not only a grocery store, it's part of the Tyler community.
