I brought my own parts which they had no issues with. The staff was knowledgeable and Zac the installer did a great job. Even though my car isn't newer but special to me, they took great care. Every once in a while I am amazed to meet someone jaw-droppingly dedicated to and passionate about their work. This week that person is Lee from Next Gen Audio Video. I found Lee on Craigslist while looking for someone to install new subs in my Lexus. From our first conversation I could tell he was different from your run-of-the-mill service providor: he has ample experience in all sorts of media setups, is easy to reach, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I went to a couple other places first to look at their products and get installation pricing: as expected it felt like they were jerking me around. When I found some car audio parts online, Lee compared them to my written estimates and helped me select the components I was looking for at a much better price. He is without a doubt more experienced than anyone I dealt with at the other places. I would normally not call getting my car worked on for 3 hours a "fun" time, but I actually enjoyed hanging out while Lee did my installation. He explained what he was doing at each step and talked with me about all the random questions I had during the process. He also took great care to keep the wiring organized and zip-tied, even when it was going to be covered and out of sight. When I was unsure of where I wanted my bass knob and FM modulator mounted, he took the time to show me a variety of options and select the one that would be most comfortable to access. I had what appeared to be a strange failure of the factory wiring on my older car, and had purchased a replacement radio with plans to do the installation myself. As I checked things out, I realized that I was going to have to to a lot of crawling around under the dash (I hate that) and run a new wire the length of the car. Lee at NextGen was referred to me. I called him up, THESE GUYS ARE GREAT! I had them install a complete surround sound system for the living room. Hung 2 TV's. Installed speakers in the game room and on the back porch (with individual volume controls). The house sounds great! Everyone was very professional. They were on time. Everything went smoothly. I AM IMPRESSED! Actually I was so impressed, I had them come back out again a few months later. They installed a multi-camera surveillance system for me. So now I have access on my phone (and computer) to see what is going on at the house, even when I cant be there. I will definitely be calling again. These guys lied to me, they stated that my 2016 Camry has 7" round door speakers. My doors have 6"x9". I confirmed by taking my car to Best Buy and having the right speakers installed. They also lied by saying they would have to build plates for the speakers. I then asked if I bring my speakers and amp in what it would cost to install. Then I was quoted more than $100 per hour since I'm not buying the marked up price for the speakers and amp from them, their quote $480 for installation only. The 7"speaker quote $120 and the Amp $250 totalling $970 + tax for the equipment. These guys are liers, don't have them work on your car. Take you car to Best Buy in Valley Ranch, John will take care of you with the right equipment and buy the installment plan for a flat fee of $200 for installing anything you want installed. I got the speakers that I wanted for $70 for each pair (2), Amp behind the stereo with a built in processor for $175.00 and labor $200 totaling $515 + tax. read more

Follow Up Review and OutCome, This is my ending review of the IASCA Professional class Competition Vehicle I had "Magic" Mike complete today. He and I were on the same page 99% of the time we worked together on this project which lasted over the past 11 months. Mike asked all the right questions and takes pride and perfection in to ever car or truck he works on. I can not give him enough credit for the work performed at my request. As for me I was in the 12 volt business as a custom guy for many years and a medical condition kept me from performing my entire build but Mike performed under all the pressure and along the guidelines I provided him with. For me to be able to compete in the professional class and among the greatest in the world. For me I am looking for the title of World Champion in IASCA and looking for the MECA title as well.
