Please don't waste your time and money. This company is unprofessional, they are scammers and prejudice. The service person tried to schedule my appointment for Saturday when it was for today August 12, 2024. he came at 10:49 am and was out at 11:00am. My washing machine is still not working. The company had me going in circle, telling me they can't do the job without the serial number, all I had was the model number. Last year they ordered apart that I didn't need and was trying to take them. The people that work their and service the job are prejudice. How are you going to tell me that you don't speak English, when I was talking to you on the phone. How are you running a business and all of your employees only speak Spanish. Miss me that BS! I have to say we did not have a bad experience - he (not sure of his name) came and did what we needed done. our frig is now up and running - we are aware the part is a refurbished part and not guaranteed to last - we were going to get a new refrigerator anyway - so fine with us. but so very grateful to have the frig for now up and running. read more

Next Generation Repair is a thief. On 06/07/2019, "Carl" came to our house in East Hampton to look at a leaking washing machine. He told us it would need a new boot assembly. We paid him $450 for the replacement part and installation. On 06/10/2019, we received a text asking us to call the business regarding the repair. We called, got voice mail, and explained we would have to coordinate the repair with our tenant. We asked them to call us back. We never heard from them again. We have left a dozen messages at two different numbers without response. I subsequently learned that the business address is a PO Box at the Riverside Post Office. They stole our money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. We have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and are filing a report with the Suffolk County Police. I'm only sorry I cannot give them negative stars. read more

Total scammer. Carl charged $125 to check our washing machine, he said he removed some cardboard from the pump and if it didn't work, we would need a new pump. It didn't work. I called him again and he said I needed to Venmo him $300 for the new pump because there was just 1 left. Foolishly I did. Never been scammed, but I guess there is always a first time, and this company did it. $480 bucks for a refrigerator repair that did not work, then never answering or responding to phone calls unless he thinks you are a new customer to scam. Try calling from different # he'll pick up, but once he realizes who it is you get the quick disconnect. He's gotten away with it in the past, crook needs to be stopped.... This company sent a technician--Carl--out to fix our refrigerator. Our receipt listed a 90 warranty for parts and labor. 60 days in, our refrigerator was broken again. The company would not honor the warranty and told us that they just bought "the number" from Carl and had nothing to do with repair work he did. So we are out $550 and still have a broken refrigerator. This is a complete scam. Do not use this company ever. read more

At 1st Carl was terrific when we spoke he came to my home fixed my Viking Stove with parts on his truck ! Carl gave me a 3 Year Warranty ! However, just shy of 10 months my oven no longer worked - He came back Oct 18th 2019 put replacement parts in my oven and now a few day before Thanks giving my Viking Stove Does "Not Work" - I called quite a few times and finally called him from my real estate office phone other than my cell and he answered ! Carl said he was away last due to Family illness (I'm truly sorry regarding this) however Carl said he will contact someone to call me to repair my stove it has been about 10 days now and no call back Thanksgiving is next week ! I have called another repair company and am livid at the lack of responsibility and the shoddy replacements parts Carl Next Generation and another name Super Tech Carl goes under ! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE 8/10/16 Came to fix my dishwasher Told I needed a part. Gave them $364.00 to get part which they said would take 5-7 days.. 46 DAYS later after numerous calls they arrive with the part. Install it and turn the washer on then off. I pay them the balance of $167.17. I re start the washer to continue the cycle they started. I have not been able to do another wash. I have called everyday since September 15th . This company is a total Scam. The tech ( Carl) looks good with the truck and tools, and parts. Charged $over 350 to fix a fridge. Two days later same problem with fridge and no one picks up the phone. The service says," leave a message. We are monitoring 24/7 and we will call you back in 20 minutes". No one ever calls back. Unfortunately I didn't read the correct reviews before I called them. This company is a scam and everything described in the reviews is correct. They did pick up phone and said they would come back but never showed. They charged a lot and seemed to know what they were doing but obviously did not. Completely fooled me and because I was in a rush, I didn't check them out thoroughly enough. AVOID! Came to repair my dryer. Spent 15 minutes. Tried to sell me a new heating element. Then, when asked to re-test it, the old one worked miraculously fine. Then said it was a timer switch. Said another fellow from the company had it with him and would be at house to install within an hour. So, the first fellow left with a $20 tip even though he was there 15 minutes and left the dryer in pieces and blocking my back door. Needless to say, the second fellow never called or showed. Add me to the list of duped customers. Called Carl on a Friday for repair of a Whirlpool clothes dryer that was not heating. He made an appointment for the next day (Saturday) and came in his truck and with tools on time. Sounded knowledgeable and said the machine although 9 years old was worth repairing because the new models are much less good than the old ones. Clearly knew how to take the machine apart, decide that the computer needed replacement, and put it back together again. Price was $339.89 in addition to the $150 for the service call. Needed to order the part and came the next week at which time the caretaker of my house watched him take a new part out of a box and install it; he saw Carl turn the dryer on but, unfortunately, didn't know the problem was lack of heat so did not check to see if there was heat. One week later, I found the machine still looking like it worked but still without heat, as it was before the "repair." Numerous calls to Carl's cell phone, East End Appliance Repair ("the company" we initially called to get him), and Next Generation Repair (the"company" to which I made the checks out) all got the same voice-mail message and no response. One star is too good a rating for this guy. read more
