We needed to replace a 24 year-old heating and air-conditioning system, Galaxy came up as number one of our first choice. We made an appointment, A gentleman came out, he emailed us a quote, a day or two later. When we had more questions, Galaxy sent out another gentleman to go over additional questions and we settled on the same, trane/American standard system . Within a week the full system was scheduled for install. The young men who installed the system were very respectful of the property very respectful of my father since his house is immaculate. You would've never known they were even there they cleaned up so well. They completed all the work in one day, which was shocking they went above and beyond and replaced a water nozzle that had been leaking under his house for who knows how long. He showed me that the capacitor was testing low, the contactor was worn and pitted, and even performed a megger test on the compressor to verify it was still healthy. After the repairs, he confirmed everything was working properly by showing me the compressor amperage had dropped back to normal and that the system had an 18-degree temperature split. Keon was patient with all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He explained the pros and cons of the recommended repairs, including the hard-start kit, so I could make an informed decision instead of feeling pressured. I really appreciated his transparency and professionalism. By the time he was done, our AC was cooling properly again, and he even worked with us on the final price. I am a bit of a clean energy/efficiency fanatic and I looked at the problem from every angle I could conceive of. They are genuine and they care about what they do - the whole team. And they understand the heat pump's essential efficiency proposition: 3-4 units of heating or cooling for 1 unit of electrical energy (due to no chemical bonds being broken in burning just moving heat around). For me, that counts - and counts BIG. Have you ever read about or experienced shopping for an electric car from conventional (gas powered) car dealers? They do NOT want to sell you and EV. They make no margin on an EV. They know precious little about what an EV is....they are in every way 'all in on petrol'.... It is just the same with HVAC for your home....most of the BIG HVAC companies do sell a heat pump or two - but they mostly would rather sell you another high-margin gas furnace.... QC referred us to Harry Clark Heating and Air Conditioning for a complete upgrade to replace our gas furnace. HC owner Don Marshall spent an hour and a half assessing the existing heating system in our 1908 home, answering all our questions and providing a detailed quote for a two zone system the next day. After reviewing the quote with QuitCarbon, we decided the price was competitive and chose not to get other bids. I should mention that I'm a licensed mechanical engineer and have lots of experience working with contractors. Armando Hernandez and his crew completed the install in one week and we were up and running on day 5. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. Armando addressed my many questions and was a pleasure to work with. There was an issue with a defective part in the air handler. The project manager Matt Schwoyer was able to resolve it with their supplier, and the part was replaced the following week. Everyone at Harry Clark was professional and responsive throughout the whole project. We are pleasantly surprised with the improved and consistent comfort level in our home and would recommend HC to anyone considering a heat pump retrofit.

He was very tidy wearing shoe covers and after climbing his ladder to get into my attic, he was able to determine that it wasn't the pilot light that was the issue with my furnace, but it was simply turned off. He turned it on and then went to work installing my smart thermostat. After he got it installed, he showed me how to adjust the settings. Finally he also examined my living room fireplace and showed me where the switch was inside the panel to turn it on. He was clean and efficient and I'm very happy with the service. I called them later and asked to be put on a list for annual furnace maintenance. High recommend Oscar and Harry Clark Heating and Air.

I agreed and he gave me a receipt and that it would be ready on Saturday. He said no deposit was needed and I can pay at pickup. Cash only. Came back on Saturday and he said there was not enough fabric to do a proper resew, so he had to add a piece of material for sewing and reinforcement. It looked good and he said the strap and backpack should last a while now. Happy with the repair and for the reasonable price. I get to continue using my backpack knowing that I can't get a new one anymore.

I honestly couldn't say enough about the gentleman who serviced my oven (John) On time, did not have to ask him to wear booties, respectful, and even went out of his way to drive to nearest hardware store to help fix my breaker issue causing my my oven to fail. We had two appliances go out at the same time (refrigerator and AC). We called and that same day they sent a tech out. Tech arrived when promised, and was able to fix both appliances quickly. What bothered me most was that when I questioned them, their explanation kept changing. First it was the compressor, then an "open line," then a high-voltage breaker issue. That is not a diagnosis I can trust, or a diagnosis based in true process of elimination testing to arrive at the core issue. I've been running a restaurant for nearly 20 years, and I've seen this pattern many times before: jump straight to the most expensive repair. In my experience, this felt like either incompetence or an attempt to oversell a job that wasn't needed. I will never use them again, and I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any HVAC work from Next HVAC.

They spend the extra time to diagnose the real issue and to suggest repairs that are reasonable. There's no gouging and no "it's 3 years old, just replace it, it's only $400" like some vendors. Replacing appliances comes with the extra cost in measuring, ordering, waiting, shipping, disposal of the old appliance, and the install of the new appliance. In my experience, the newer the appliance is, the less life span it will have so if they can repair my 4 year old GE dishwasher, I'd prefer that vs just dumping it in a landfill and starting over. They have helped us with refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ice makers and more. They are reliable, on time, and great communicators. You wont' be disappointed. And don't worry, if your appliance truly is on it's last leg and repairs don't make financial sense, they won't just try to sell you parts and labor.
