Having replaced the front lawn and having horrible service from the aforementioned landscaping contractor, I was now in need of a new contractor who could replace my backyard lawn and provide regular maintenance services. Ironically on the same day that I finally got so fed up with the previous contractor and I decided I no longer wanted anymore dealings with him, someone from Ayala's Landscaping had taped their business card to my front door. I called up Jorge Ayala that same day and being that it was a Sunday, was pleasantly surprised when he said he would be able to come down the same day to give a free estimate. He arrived a couple of hours later with his wife Anne and his little boy in tow. Gave me a pretty good price on replacing my entire backyard and all the broken sprinkler heads in the back, as well as a great deal ($80/month) for regular maintenance of both the front and back lawns. As well as trimming of my trees and bushes. Jorge does a great job and is very detailed in his work. He noticed that the tree and bushes to the side of my house were getting slightly overgrown and asked if it was ok if he trimmed them so they wouldn't grow out too far and hit the windows. Also even re-affixed an outdoor thermometer in my backyard which had fallen down the previous year and I had completely forgotten about! Jorge comes out once a week to perform maintenance work which is MUCH better than I can say about most other landscaping contractors whom only come out about 2 times a month (sometimes not even that!). And so far he seems to also be very reliable. Unlike the horror I've experienced with my previous contractor and that I've heard about other contractors whom show up once a month or less for maintenance work and hope the owners never notice. If you guys need someone to mow your lawn, trim your trees/bushes, or any other projects you have around the house...Jorge is your man! Give him a call...you won't be disappointed!

He and his crew showed up the next day and completed the work as promised. Unfortunately my dreams are bigger than my budget so the rest of the recommendations will have to wait until next month. Bottom line...I'm a single woman who has been taken advantage of by many "handymen". Francisco listened to my thoughts and concerns and guided me in the right direction. I know nothing about irrigation and don't really care to...I just need it to water my plants, not waste water and most importantly not blow up like it did after the "handyman" did the repair. I'm quickly learning to hire the people skilled in the trade, it might cost a little more up front but they do it everyday and paying for that experience will save in the long run. I just paid for this same repair a year ago that was half a$$ but I'm confident it's done right now and if something happens Francisco will make it right! Finding a contractor with integrity who really cares about quality work and customer satisfaction is rare these days. You won't be disappointed in his work.
