However, since its drop in play, sometimes there isn't much competition, on some occasions it would be packed to the brim with other volleyball players from surrounding schools like carson, jordan, san pedro, cabrillo, cams, etc. But on most occasions its usually empty with not many people. If you plan on going here with friends, have them tell other friends or set something up with people to go here and play volleyball.

Not only does he teach you child how to play basketball, he mentally and physically get them in shape and that's what we love most about this place. He pours his heart into this place and he pushes these kids to keep pushing forward. He's consistent and doesn't let anything slid. Listen, now days, I feel like kids have it so good and easy. If something gets a little hard, they complain and quit, or if they don't like it they just quit. My kids don't know it yet, but Aaron is setting them up for the real world. If you want your child to get babied, this isn't the place, but if your child is serious or loves the game of basketball, Aaron will guide and take your child under his wings. The academy is open 5 days a week ( Tuesday & Thursday for special teams). Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays 5pm-7pm for the elementary age ( co-ed), 7pm-9pm for middle/high school kids. The indoor court is incredibly small and the electric box units made it very dangerous for my party to play all out, competitive 5 on 5 basketball. There was even one instance where my friend actually rolled his ankle because of this layout. Overall the experience was fun, but I probably would not do it again because of the 2 issues listed above. I think the court needs to be renovated/expanded for me to consider this place again-especially for the $50/hour asking price.

It went to a lady who casually answered as if I called her personal cell phone and then she scrambled to get another number for me to reach LA Elite. I called the alternative number and left a voicemail. A week later, no response. I call back the original number and a guy answers, he rushes me off the phone before I could say 5 words and tells me to send an email to ask, he doesn't have time to answer my question and too much is going on right now. I take down the email address and send an email. I never heard back. Following the instructions on the Groupon I decide to print the voucher and go up to the facility at the designated time for my son's age group to meet. NO ONE was there. The facility was locked, there wasn't one car in the lot. We sat and waited. Then we called again and left a voicemail. No one called back, no one came. We left, my son was disappointed, and I came home and requested a refund from Groupon. This was a horrible ordeal that ended up disappointing my son and clearly they must be fraudulent or do not need the business. LA Elite has lost us as a customer and being involved in several larger basketball communities I plan to spread the word. I am also disappointed that Groupon had not vetted their affiliate enough and the outcome was poor service, poor communication, and a loss of customers. I do not recommend them to any who is serious about the sport, their child's feelings, and their money because they are not serious about any of these things.

Parking lot was packed, but wasn't really an issue because someone was always leaving. Street parking also available. Walked in with some snacks for them athletes and was easily impressed with the reception area. Really clean, nice displays, announcements of upcoming events, etc... What's even more impressive is the gym itself. I like how open and clean this entire place is and bleachers were aplenty and can seat a couple of hundred, at least. I didn't stay too long, but I was impressed nonetheless. There were a few outdoor events happening outdoors, so if you have these kinds of needs, this might be a good place to do it!
