We had SO MUCH FUN! I booked a "couple's date night" one-hour-long lesson as a Christmas present for my husband. Mintea Collins (our super awesome instructor) was incredibly helpful and friendly. Equipment is in great condition and the range itself is set up well. We had a great time :) I highly recommend going here if you're interested in archery!

"Jett" was so patient in teaching my kiddo the ropes of archery! Thank you, Jett!

I was looking for archery classes for my daughter and Next Step Archery was highly recommended! I am so glad I followed through! My daughter has attended several summer camps and most recently private lessons with Jett! They are a great group of people and super patient and friendly! I highly recommend Next Step Archery for your kiddos and summer camps are a great way to start!

Fantastic with a small hiccup. Let's get into this, The total experience was fantastic, we had josh as an instructor who was very professional and attentive. We did a personal training night for my wife and I for her birthday. The place was very clean and well organized. Josh our instructor was prepared to deal with us and just made our night great. The only issue that I have was that making the contact with the business was almost impossible. I must have called every day for a week and left messages to try and set up the date. I emailed with no response. The only thing that worked was taking some time and visiting to set something up. All in all the experience was totally worth the hassle, I strongly recommend this place. By the way they are totally following Covid-19 guidelines so grab your mask and try it out.

If you've ever felt the desire to awaken your inner Katniss Everdeen or Green Arrow, this place is for you! For $55 on Groupon, my boyfriend and I purchased a one hour class-- about $10 cheaper than regular price. Considering we were there with just one other couple, the price was a steal. Our instructor was super chill, humorous, and engaging. With just the four of us to teach, he really took the time to watch what we were doing and correct us throughout class. We were a bit surprised about being in an indoor studio but it turned out to be really fun! The floor was lined with tape indicating distances of 5, 7, 10 yards and we were perfectly set up for sets of practices and games. The hour of class honestly went by way too quickly-- I LOVED when we got to play cut throat and shoot at balloons, and winning even more ;) Prep wise, call to schedule your class at least a week in advance because these guys are busy. Wear comfy clothes that aren't too loose fitting, tie up long hair, and be ready to work those arms!

I have been wanting to take archery lessons for months after finding out that there are ranges in WA, so I finally dragged my friend and husband along with me to the second-closest archery range to us in Seattle. I have heard questionable things about the mask compliance and vaccine refusal at another local range, so I was relieved to see signs requiring them before even entering this building! Registering online was quick and easy; it doesn't seem like they have slots for weekend private lessons sadly. One thing to note about this location is that it's not immediately obvious that it is here because of the signage, and the fact that it is connected to an archery store. We actually accidentally stumbled into the archery store, and the man working there was SO kind to personally take the time to lead us to the right place! He will never reclaim that 30 seconds of his life back and I do appreciate it. When we arrived we were greeted by Joel, who meticulously picked out the perfect equipment for us and suited us up- He was so patient while we asked questions and were generally those annoying new archers who have no concept of an appropriate noise level to maintain in a public space. I can tell that he's a wealth of knowledge but didn't seem annoyed at all when we picked his brain about very important subjects, such as how many times he's seen someone get shot. We started by shooting at a close distance, then slowly moved back and incorporated more equipment and games throughout the lesson. We all had a ridiculous amount of fun!

We experienced a wonderful one-hour course. The instructor is patient and knowledgeable. We felt safe and comfortable though it's the first time we touch archery. Will go back again! There is Groupon to save your money. But remember to make a reservation in advance.

We purchased our lesson through "howaboutwe", and Next Step Archery did a great job setting up our date/lessons and making it interactive.

First time doing archery and every worker was so informative, helpful, and kind! I have never been…read moregreat at any sports so I was there for the fun of it. I never thought I'd get to a point where I was consistently in the center, but thanks to David's advice and teachings, I was able to get 4 of my shots in the yellow! Overall amazing experience and would recommend this to anyone.

Our coach/instructor today was Asa. He was very helpful to both my friend Sammar and I. Sammar actually bought her bow and arrows at the Nock Point, and she told me how helpful the staff here was in making sure that the bow that she bought was a good fit for her. I own a bow and arrows, but they ended up not being the best choice for me to use for shooting archery today. I bought my bow and arrows in 2013 as props for photo shoots in 2013 and 2014, so I'm not shocked that they weren't suitable for archery action. So, I rented a bow and arrows today. I also bought a bracer for $15. My costs for today were around $50 for about 2 1/2 hours of shooting archery, but it will cost me around $35 when I go back, since I own the bracer now. Asa helped me adjust my form. I was struggling a bit with pulling the bow string of the first bow back far enough for my shots, so Asa replaced my 20-pound bow with a 16-pound bow, and the replacement solved this issue. He also adjusted the orange dot below the target to suit my patterns of shooting. He did the same thing for Sammar's orange dot. The orange dot helps with aiming. Our coach was quick to spot issues like this and to help effectively solve them. Sammar and I both ended up getting several bulls eyes, in part due to such excellent and attentive coaching. What a wonderful experience. Sammar and I will be returning for sure. Pictures 1 - 4 were taken today at The Nock Point. The target on the right of the photo was my target, and the target on the left of the photo was Sammar's target. Pictures 5 - 7 of me (and of me with my gladiators, LOL) were taken in 2013 and in 2014 at my photo shoots where I used my bow and arrows that weren't suitable for actually shooting archery today. Just wanted to share. With a name like Artemis (the Goddess Artemis is traditionally depicted with a bow and arrows), I was hoping I would be decent at this! Until today, I haven't shot archery since I was a child. I remember loving it as a kid and being pretty good at it, but I wasn't sure if I'd still be good at it as an adult. Happily I think I can say that I've still got it! Thanks to Asa, the great coach at the Nock Point, for his help today!
